Buffalo Launch Club

This place will always have a special place in my heart. I’ve been coming here since I was a baby. Great grandpa and grandpa were both past Commodores here. With that being said, this place has always been steady. Always great food and great service. Great place for weddings and any other type of party you can think of. Tennis courts, a nice pool, picnic area and it’s right on the Niagara river. Nice outdoor seating area as well. Great service, great atmosphere and always a great time!

I came here with a larger group of 9 on a Thursday night. When we arrived, they did not have our reservation in the books, but they were still able to accommodate us in a timely manner. We had a drink at the bar while we waited, and I was very pleased with their vodka selection! Oftentimes I order a vodka soda with a splash of pineapple, but I was able to try a pineapple vodka with soda because of their plethora of flavored vodkas available. I was very happy with this!
When we sat down to eat, we ordered bottles of wine, as well as several appetizers: shrimp cocktail, stuffed banana peppers, and pizza. I was lucky enough to get a sample of all of them, and they were all delicious! The banana peppers came with a red sauce, and it went well with the cheeses that were stuffed inside of the peppers.
For my main course, I ordered the lobster pasta (it was on special that evening). It was so delicious but so filling. There were good sized lobster chunks, as well as shrimp. The sauce was a mascarpone white sauce, and it was absolutely wonderful. After already having eaten some appunetizers, I ate about half of my lobster pasta before taking the rest to go.
The only thing that I feel the need to point out is that there is a 25% charge if you are not a member of the Launch Club.

My 1^st visit to Buffalo & my boyfriend took me to the Buffalo Launch Club with his family for dinner! Wow! The entire experience was incredible! Adrian the bartender was friendly & professional, the view over the marina was beautiful & the food… nothing short of outstanding. My fillet of sole was scrumptious over sautéed spinach & the butternut squash purée decadently delicious!
I hope to be invited back!
