Won Moo Hapkido

We are so happy that we enrolled our five year old son in class with Mr. Robert. He is a great teacher and the price is great too! We see our son becoming more confident and gaining better emotional and physical self control. We are really happy that he likes hapkido, the teacher and the other kids at the studio.

master robert’s class has been a great experience for our 5 year old son. unlike our previous teacher in another part of LA you are welcome to unlimited classes for your monthly fee. this has allowed us to keep our boy occupied and accelerate his learning. the other day our jaw dropped when he was able to do a series of moves by memory. also impressive is master robert allows his students to head the class under his eye. in his class the ages are mixed together, on the surface it seems like a recipe for disaster but it actually works well! Master Robert also has a nice way with all the kids, he speaks to them on their level while pulling out their maturity and desire to do well in the class.

My daughter has been going here for the last year or so. Robert is a great guy, extremely patient with kids, and holds a great balance of pushing the kids for discipline and keeping it enjoyable so the kids still have fun. My daughter has learned a ton about Hapkido, but more importantly learned to listen to people, respect your peers, and show discipline in learning. I will keep my daughter enrolled as long as possible, and enroll my youngest as soon as she is old enough.

Our four boys have had such a wonderful experience at WonMoo Hapkido Federation. It has helped each and every one of our boys. They have gained self-​confidence, they have a stronger sense of focus, and they have a heightened connection to oneself (awareness). The techniques and disciplinary teachings have instilled many life skills in our boys in addition to the physical benefits and self defense know how that the program provides. Couldn’t be happier with the instructors, the results, the cleanliness and most importantly– the balance between discipline, encouragement & praise. Both my sons receive top of the line instruction and once my daughter is old enough, she will start taking lessons here as well. Completely trustworthy and reliable, I have found that it is a rare studio that tests only on ability rather then on a calendar.-(which basicly means that they will not rank up your kids belt just to collect the fee, they have to earn it with ability so you have no worry that they could have false confidence.) I recommend Won Moo on a regular basis due to how proud I am of my sons progress and the high level of service we have received for the last 6 years & continue to enjoy.

My son has been going here for the last year and we are very happy with his progress. The main instructor teaches all the techniques and doesn’t rely on other assistants to do the work for him. He is patient and works well with children. Expect discipline, self confidence, and technique. Stick with it, you’ll see a difference.
