Best pizza in the SFV and that should say something since I don’t even like pizza to begin with. I recommend the spicy buffalo on thick crust!

The best for quality food and quick. We eat here at least once per week and has never been disappointing. Indeed in reading some of the other post not getting enough crushed peppers is not a reason to give them a bad review. The guys are always friendly and quick to get you your food… What more can you ask for? Loved the Parm sandwich today

Despite the poor stars, I had a great experience! I called in my order, I wasn’t rush and it was not loud in the background. The person helping me was very patient & answered all my questions before ordering. They said it would be 25 minutes, I picked it up and it was delicious! I will def be returning for more pizza pies :)

Tasty deep dish with big fresh tomato chunks and slightly sweet crust makes this the only LA pizza worth eating. The Romano Bread Puffs are to die for and because they’re deep fried, you probably will. Only 3 locations left!

Got the meatza medium for $ 18 and some change(not including tip) and it’s BOMB.COM! Not gon lie, read most of the reviews and thought they might be inconsistent and I would end up with a less than pizza but, decided to give them a try anyway and glad I did. My pizza had loads of toppings and cheese that extended beyond my bite, yum! It’s really good yal! :) one star off. I was expecting a Chicago type DEEP dish but this style(imo) ain’t close lol it’s its own thing. The crust is fluffy and sweet and the sauce is delish. 4 stars bec the crust may be one step over the sweet line for my taste but, this foodie will be ordering again fr fr :) happy eating Unilocalers!

Davey likey the deep dish pizza. Pretty good up here in the north San Fernando Valley. I have had Numero Uno quite a few times and it doesn’t disappoint. I love how thoroughly they cook the pizza. Some places leave the center of the crust doughy and not this place. The combination of the sauce and dough have a very pleasant sweet taste to them. Leaves a lingering good aftertaste. The ingredients themselves aren’t the highest quality, but the combinations they have on the menu work very well together. I am also a fan of the garlic knots and the calzone when I want to be bad. Especially with a side of marinara sauce on the side and you got a killer combo. Service is ok. They keep it simple and get things done. And you know what, I’m ok with that.

I usually visit this location and have been coming for years. However on super bowl Sunday I had a bad experience. The x large pizzas we got were overly greasy and oily and didn’t taste like the quality pizza I’m accustomed to from here. Also when we went to pick it up. There was a young guy with a baseball cap and a girl there. The girl was very sweet and helpful but the guy seemed to have a chip on his shoulder. He was unpleasant and rude. We asked for a side of ranch. As the girl went to grab the ranch. He in a rude manner stated, «we charge 50 cents for those. We politely agreed and paid for two. When we arrived home and saw the ranch containers they were barely filled with any ranch. I understand charging for sides of items sometimes. But I find it insulting that you would charge and have them barely filled with any ranch. I used to love this place but this past experience has sullied it quite a bit.

Remember if you are ordering a To-Go: No matter what the size of the Pizza is, All you get is «1» tiny sachet of Red Crushed Peppers. If you ask for more… The Manager(or whoever that 16 year-old + guy is…) or the so-called«owner»(at 9pm)…will talk to you in a rude way(unethical too…). If you ask them for a reason…(try it yourself) I don’t even think they deserve a «1» rating. There are better pizzerias around this place… which are better. Even Little Caesars will give you more red crushed peppers.

As someone who has ordered from this location for over a year and a half now — with close to 35 orders — I am officially finished with ordering from this Numero Uno. Someone summed it up perfectly below — kids are running this restaurant, with zero customer service skills and a demeaning, careless attitude when their service is sub-par. This is obviously a reflection of ownerships’ commitment to what should be their top priority: service. Tonight we ordered an XL pizza, salad & wings. Quoted 70 – 85 minute delivery time, which was fine, actually took 125 minutes; no call to say they were running 40 minutes behind, but happy to offer up their usual excuse of «we were slammed». How about a «oh my gosh, we are terribly sorry, etc.» Nothing. They offered a credit, and the«oh sorry you feel that way». As good as their food is, I’ll gladly trade off for Ameci’s value & superb customer service. Satisfaction is definitely not just measured in taste — you are a service-first business, please act like it.

I have not been to Numero Uno for over 30 years, so I was excited to go to this location, as many of the other restaurants I’ve frequented have closed in the valley. Because we were in a rush, we did not order their famous pizza, which takes 25 minutes to make; our dinner break is only 30 minutes! So, we opted for pasta, which to me, was very good and hot. Mine was a clam in Alfredo sauce, which reminded me a lot like that of the Spaghetti Factory style, except better. The place is rather small, so it’s not really meant for a large party, but quaint for a restaurant in a mostly suburban residential area.

Ouch!!! My first two times where amazing my last two were horrible this one is burnt and the one before it was so raw I couldn’t tell the dough from the cheese… cmon guys… I worked in pizza for 15 years 8 back in Chicago and 7 at Uncle Ernies in Chatsworth I can tell you this is from the oven being way too hot… I was very suspicious when he said pick up would be 15 minutes… I was thinking for a pan pizza deep dish? Shoot I used to cook a deep dish at 325 for 45 – 60 minutes. Update: in order to resolve my issue with my burnt pizza I called in at 2:34 to have it replaced. It’s now 3:15 and they can’t find it and they asked me if I can«come back in another 15 minutes.» This is getting very old!!! I had to order a thin crust which I don’t even like because I am NOT confident that they even know how to cook a deep dish pizza. I started this quest for a lunch at about 12:30. —whatever… it’s a mystery how in four pizzas in two weeks I can go from my favorite new place to «I probably won’t come here again.»

Gf and I were craving deep-dish pizza. Food was delicious. You can order your food to go or dine-in. Seated area(tables/booths) are to the left when you enter. Arcades machines in the back where kinda noisy but I didn’t mind much, I’m not overly picky about the ambiance inside of restaurants.

Seems like they have a bunch of kids running it. The staff is on island time and could careless about service. The pizza and salads are really good. Their wings suck, i’m not a fan of breaded wings.

My family and I came into town and went there for the first time. Everything was great! We ordered pizza, cheese ravioli, and spaghetti & meatballs. And it all was cooked and seasoned correctly I will vouch for this place! 2 thumbs up

I grew up in the valley and Numero Uno was ALWAYS my favorite pizza. I moved away many years ago, but never forgot about their incomparable taste and freshness. I’m in town for the week and my son and I have eaten here twice. Once delivery and once pickup. I enjoyed the deep dish pizza of my childhood. It was as delicious as ever. The dough is amazing and the cheese is so fresh! My son ordered the Pasta Arabiatta both times and was left wanting more. Don’t get me wrong, the portions are reasonably sized. He just couldn’t get enough. Delivery was much faster a few days ago than I expected. It was dinner time, but the wait was very reasonable. Pickup was a breeze last night too. I got there when the food trucks we’re setting up, and there was still available parking. The food was piping hot and the Numero Uno Caesar Salad was crisp and cold. I couldn’t get it home fast enough! I’m not ashamed to say that we will be eating their food one more time before we leave! I wish we had a Numero Uno closer to my home, but my waistline disagrees!

The owner has since reached out to me to apologize for the service we received. I don’t think many places would do such a thing, and it sounds as though they are working on improving the customer experience. While I’m still not a fan of sweet crust, I understand that that’s just the style of pizza they have to offer. It seems they have a thin crust, which is less or not sweet. We will have to give that a try since they’re a local business!
