CR Pest Management

I called Chris from CR Pest Management about a rat in my attic which I saw in my fluorescent light fixture. Chris came out and set a few traps and also sprayed the house for bugs. He did a very extensive inspection of my attic and provided me pictures of the 4 areas where the rats were entering. He offered to fix the areas for a very low price. Chris is very nice and very funny! He did a great job for a very low price. Highly recommended.

Chris is a nice person and an excellent pest control professional. He was able to turn our extensive problem with roaches into nothing. Seriously, he is the best. He spent a ton of time telling us how to help prevent pests from coming back. Worth every penny we spent not to have roaches anymore!

I had a roach problem in my yard so I decided to call Chris based on his good Unilocal reviews. He is excellent. He’s knowledgeable and friendly. He explains everything he is doing so you are clear what’s happening. It has been a couple weeks since his treatment of my home and yard. The roaches are gone and with an added bonus we have far far fewer spiders, crickets, ants and other bugs. I’m very happy with his work and highly recommend him. Please don’t hesitate to call him!

Excellent customer service, and very effective treatments. We were having a problem with large, ugly roaches in the kitchen. … it was horrible. But CR came out right away and solved the problem. My dogs and family members were unaffected by the spray, and the roaches are gone. We have asked the company to return every month for upkeep.

Chris helped me eliminate my german cockroach problem. For months I was in denial because I thought I would never get rid of them. I’m happy to say that it’s now been over 6 month’s and I’ve been roach-​free. Chris was friendly and very passionate about getting rid of pests. He came back after the initial treatment to check up and place extra traps to ensure that any survivors were taken out. I have already recommended Chris to friends.

We have been using Chris’ pest control service for several months and are very pleased with his reliability and communication. He’ll contact you the day prior to remind you he’s coming. Or if weather doesn’t allow for the visit he’ll contact you about how he’ll be coming on a different day.
When we first contacted Chris we had an inside kitchen infestation that I was absolutely mortified by. Within a few weeks that was under control. And, since we continue to be pest free indoors.
Also, we have 3 dogs and they love him since he brings his special treats for them each time. :-)

I had Chris come out the day after we heard something up in our attic banging on the air vent like a marimba. He did a very thorough inspection and ended up recommending another company — Joel Hurtado from Handytech, to do the work that was applicable to my specific case. I’ll be writing Joel’s review next.
Chris spent about an hour here and recommended the right person for the job, then DIDN’T CHARGE ME ANYTHING for his time. Very cool and rare these days.

Chris and his team are personable, prompt, professional and thorough. After obtaining various bids, CR was the lowest price. The lower price did not mean lower service at all. Quite the contrary! We will definitely use this company for all our pest management again! Highly recommended!

We have been using Chris for over a year now and have been SO happy with his work. I love that he contacts me on a regular basis and lets me know its time for him to come again. I can usually tell because there will be ants and spiders showing up around the house again. He’s professional and knows exactly what he is doing. chris came by one of my comercial business locations in granada hills where I have a restaurant tenant, he was very nice and took the time to give me a walk through on preventive measures and advice for future problems, very informative! I would gladly recommend.

Chris came out and sprayed my exterior and interior last Friday. He was very helpful on the phone about what I needed to do to prepare for his arrival. And he was extremely thorough when he was here, walking me around the house and showing me entrance points for bugs and suggesting a few new things we could try to help keep the bugs out. We have been having some fairly major cockroach issues inside the house and a MILLION brown widows/​black widows outside the house. He even walked around with a giant brush and knocked down webs for us. AND showed us various spiders living on the outside and explained if they were dangerous or not. That is some customer service! And on top of all that, he was just the coolest, nicest, person. My husband said later he wanted to invite him to our summer BBQs just to hang out and talk. So seriously, just give him a call and don’t even research any other pest businesses. You already found your man. Thanks, Chris!!!

Chris is awesome!
We had a (multiple) gofer problem that was getting worse by the day. Luckily Chris was able to come out to our house the day I called him! He was able to take care of the problem in only one visit :)
He not only eradicated our gofer problem, but he also went the extra mile to show me all of the areas around the exterior of the house that were susceptible to rats/​mice.
He doesn’t try to sell himself at all. He gave me tips on how to do it myself which is refreshing.
Did I mention he is very affordable? Well, he is.

I called CR Pest Management because I was being bitten by something while I slept and did not know what it was. a few friends had bed bugs and I began thinking that they could have transferred them to my house. I know how much of a pain it was for them and I was not about to go through the same thing. I quickly got on Unilocal and looked for exterminators. I called a local company and the woman that answered could not tell me any type of information on pricing or procedures all she did was take my name and number and tell me someone would contact me. I waited a few days and no one called. I decided to call CR and am completely glad that I did. I spoke to Chris and told him my problem and he told me he could be here from 30 minutes to an hour. He showed up and was very humble. He checked out my house and luckily found no signs of the little devils. He showed me pictures of various bed bugs he has found and gave me a crash course on what to look out for. He also pointed out what other bugs could be biting me and gave me options I could choose in order to get rid of them myself or atleast to catch them and call him back. There is no way I will call anyone else but Chris for anything pest related in the future. He seemed to be a very nice guy and very knowledgeable also has a good sense of humour!

i go in and out my back door a lot, to take out trash, to clean off the laundry dryer filter, it’s a back door, i use it. Recently sometimes when i would go through the back door, i’d get stung by a wasp, three times, once on the face, once on my back and once on my shoulder (right through my shirt).
i had never been stung by a wasp before, so i was like??? what’s going on. i watched some do-​it-​yourself wasp elimination things on you tube, it looked too hard, you’re supposed to kill the nest but i had no idea where the nest was. So i went on Unilocal to look for a good pest control guy.
I found one with great reviews that i liked and called them. the price they told me was higher than what i thought it was going to be, not that i had any idea what the price range would be, but it was harsh for my comfort level, my budget. i felt desperate to stop getting stung and feeling under siege so i said ok, i made an appointment for the same day. but i went back on Unilocal to see if there were other options that wouldn’t cost so much.
I called CR and left a voice mail, then i called another guy and it was lower priced than the first guy, so i made an appointment for later in the day. Then, Chris at CR called me back (it was within a half hour) and the price he offered was even lower then the second guy.
But not only that, he was good to talk to about the problem and my concerns, very clear communication, and friendly and relaxed. I appreciated being able to talk to him about what method he would use, i was concerned about toxic insecticide. The do it yourself things i looked at on you tube were all made of peppermint oil and water (and dish detergent in some cases). I sometimes use peppermint oil as a remedy so i know it’s very strong and very intense and would surely kill anything, but if used in very small amounts, it doesn’t scare me or gross me out the way the commercial chemical poisons do, so i asked Chris about that. He was knowledgeable about using peppermint oil.
He said if you use enough to kill bugs, it can be enough to be toxic to people too, which makes sense. We talked about a couple of other methods. I think he sensed that i am more comfortable with the peppermint oil kind of thing, or he just listened well to things i was saying all though i was open to other methods and wanting to learn about what was involved. he said he has the peppermint oil at his office, not on his truck so he would have to go back to his office to get it, and he said he would do that and call me in a couple of hours when he was on his way to my place.
So that’s what happened. We walked around to look for hives. As we walked past my back door, he saw the hive, a great big ugly hive right on the bars over the window in the backdoor. No wonder they were stinging me. whenever i went through that door, i was creating an earthquake for their home. i’m lucky they only stung me three times which was a lot less than the times i went through the door.
So, after looking around the rest of the house and not finding other hives, Chris was ready to go to work. I went in the house to wait. very quickly he was done and i had a great sense of relief. i could smell the faint smell of peppermint oil and appreciated how easier on me psychologically it is than the smell of chemical poisons. As time went on, the smell got stronger and stronger. Chris showed me where he had sprayed and said i would probably want to hose it off at some point.
After Chris left and i went in the house and was hanging out doing things, the smell of peppermint oil got stronger and stronger, to a point where it was almost irritating. i began googling it and was reassured, i couldn’t find anything about any dangers. I was free to go hose it off the door but i chose not to because i want the smell to remain and let the bugs know it’s not a welcoming place for them. i put ceiling fans on. it’s been a couple of hours since the spraying now and i can’t smell peppermint oil at all, but i went outside and could still smell it and i’m glad. Bugs stay way! the peppermint oil is not a bad smell, it’s nice if you like peppermint. But it’s INTENSE.
So that was it, i am very happy. I know the other people i called could get rid of the nest too, but Chris charged me a lot less, he was professional, knowledgeable and communicated things with me that i wanted to know. He was quick and yet not rushed. If i ever have to eliminate more pests, i’ll be happy to call CR. I recommend them wholeheartedly for the quality of work, the affordability, the intelligence, and the supportive customer service. If those things are important to you, this is a great choice.

It was a pleasure to meet Chris. He’s a combination of great customer service, honesty, charisma and just knows how to get the job done. I have a fear of wasps, so I called CR Pest Management this morning and Chris was at my house by the afternoon. I thought I only had three wasps nests but as Chris went around my house he pointed out 4 more nests… ugh! He got them all. As for pricing, I called two other pest control companies and their quotes were more than double… absolutely outrageous! I will be recommending CR Pest Management to my family, friends and my neighbors in my gated community.

Met Chris about 3 years ago and he has been maintaining our business ant/​roach/​rodent-​free since. Always on time, very fair prices, and just a great guy to deal with.

Here’s a revelation: if you have a skunk living under your house you are a friend in need, so a guy who will come to your house to evict Stinky is a friend indeed. That said, within 2 days Chris had caged and removed Pepe our non-​paying tenant, our dog food freeloader, without exit spraying. It was a beautiful thing. Don’t hesitate with CR, and don’t wait to evict Fluffy because before you know it you’ll have dueling Alphas, watering eyes and bronchitis and ain’t nobody got time for that.

CR Pest Management was referred to me by fellow home owner. I had just purchased my home and didn’t know where to start. After I called CR Pest Management they came out and did a first time inspection of my home letting me know my vulnerabilities of my property which other pest control companies wouldn’t do for me. I have now been using CR Pest for over 2 years for regular maintenance and have been extremely satisfied with their services and their extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff. Their service is second to none and I would highly recommend using their services if you want to be treated with respect and get outstanding service.
