Casa De Pizza

First time being here.
Pros:
–Food was amazing! My boyfriend & i ordered the «family for two» which comes with a small pizza, spaghetti, salad, & garlic bread for just $ 30
–Very clean
–Not the fastest service but still good customer service
Cons:
–Bad parking in the front (be prepared to park in the neighbors house)
–Business hours is very short 5pm-​10pm
Overall i would come back :)

Excellent authentic Italian food and atmosphere. Live Sinatra music every first and third Thursday with Jimmy Carnelli, with Blues and rock alternating Thursdays. Great shows but reservations are recommended. They fill up fast! Staff and servers are great and friendly. Don’t forget the cannoli for dessert!

We’ve been coming here for years. All of the dishes we’ve had have been great. Wish they delivered, we tend to pick up more then dine in, but both are great expeirences.

This is my new favorite pizza place.
My wife and I just enjoyed a small cheese pizza, and eggplant parmigiana.
Everything was great. The people at the restaurant were super friendly, and you could tell they care about their customers. I will definitely return in the future. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves great pizza.

plan was taco bell with buddy right across but this hole in the wall and its butthole-​tight parking lot intrigued me, so said lets try. Open since ’61 must be good.
The pizza we ordered was mikes special… sausage, pepperoni, mush, bell pepps, pretty much the essentials. It took 20 minutes, and another 10 to get home, was still piping hot, and very good. The center of the pizza is wilty and soft, (the ends all meet in the middle for a soggy party) but the taste more than makes up for it. As usual, not enough tomato sauce which tastes great. Toppings are lively and fresh, ample cheese, good crust not too thin or thick. I can see why they have sort of a cult following and very busy, both take out and the small dining area adjacent. Im sure the other foods are just as good will come dine one night. Very diverse menu lots of salad and pasta and pizza selections. The mushrooms were divine.
Reason 1 star off is they dont offer anything for take out, not napkins, plates, crushed pepper, anything. Almost feel guitly taking their boxes for the pizza.
Also their employees, in this day and age, do not wear plastic food gloves to handle the pizza process. This should be standard in any restaurant let alone a pizza one. Oh well, take a shot at hepatitis roulette.
P. S. do NOT park your car in front of the liquor store iranian guy, he will eyeball and get jiggy with you, even after buying something from there. Just park on the street to the left.

Had this for the first time and it was amazing! The only negative is it’s a little pricey compared other pizza places. But I would definitely pay the extra to have great pizza. I also like to support mom and pop shops.

The meatball and spaghetti were excellent! We had the Bianca Pizza which was pretty good (fresh basil). The garlic bread wasn’t anything good.
The service was lacking; our waitress asked us if everything was ok then we had to hound her down to get a box and a check. I’d say a solid 4.5 stars if the service was better.

A classic go to spot in Granada Hills. Food is excellent, family run, service is friendly and helpful. I stopped by the dinning room tonight and it was not surprisingly packed. I decided to go to the To-​Go window and ordered the Spaghetti and Balls. I told the gentleman at the window I would come back in 15 minutes. He informed me to stay they would bring it right up. In about 5 minutes he handed me my order. Fresh and hot. Pasta done to perfection and great meatballs.

Amazing food !! 1^st time here and most definitely will return… I loved the Lasagna, not to forget the fresh bread with butter! Pizza is delicious Highly recommend this place! Also loving Frank Sinatra music!

Get the Pumpkin Ravioli with walnuts, cranberries and brown sugar butter sauce. Fabulous! Pizza as always crusty and cheesy. wait staff attentive and helpful

I’ve been to this place so many times, it’s a shame I haven’t left a review sooner!
— This place has the best pizza! I like it so much I can’t bring myself to try anything else! The antipasto salad is amazing and I can’t leave here without getting one.
— The service is great, and the staff really works hard. A+ for remembering us regulars.
— There is only a few spots to park at in the lot, so be prepared to park on the street if need be.
— Casa De Pizza accepts phone orders, and has a designated area for pick up only to the left of the restaurant. Save the coupon on the pizza box for your next visit!

This has definitely been my favorite pizza spot since we started coming here. Always a good experience and absolutely love the the décor.
Taken our friends and it’s become everyone’s preferred pizza place when we have dinner together.
Definitely need to try Jen’s pesto garlic bread. Might be our favorite thing here.

This place is a family favorite! For years we never really noticed it because it was a hole-​in-​the-​wall looking joint next to a liquor store. Then one day my father randomly chose it and we’ve been patrons ever since!
The space has changed a bit, so now there is a walk in entrance and take out entrance. Either door you go in however, you will get AMAZING food. Pasta, pizza, cannolis! So good. Also, if you’ve ever heard someone mention «The Sinatra Room,» it’s this place. All of the décor is Frank Sinatra albums, memorabilia, and they only play Frank or Rat Pack tunes.
Thursday nights are their busiest because the house band plays all evening. Make sure to call ahead and reserve a table or you won’t be getting in. Every other night or time of the day is to be expected. They are closed on Mondays however, and I cannot tell you how many times I’ve wanted their pizza on a Monday night and usually drive over before I remember!
It’s not as easy to miss anymore either because they’ve updated their signage. The parking lot is small, but there’s usually street parking near by, or I’ve even parked next to Taco Bell across the street, just to make it easier.
If you’re on the north side of The Valley make sure to swing by and check it out!

Had to go to Cali for a quick turnaround trip due to family business. Didn’t have much time for anything touristy, but after checking into the room, I found this place nearby on the Unilocal!app and saw the great reviews and decided to roll the dice.
I absolutely love this place!
It’s a small, hole in the wall type place that is located in a nondescript mini-​strip mall. Actually once you walk inside, it is much bigger than you would probably think.
I totally dig the atmosphere of the place! Casa de Pizza has an old school classic Italian pizza joint vibe to it! Their room in the back, «The Sinatra Room», is like a shrine to the Chairman of the Board! Framed pics of the Rat Pack, Old TV Guides, and album covers are all over the walls and even under the glass of the table tops! They even have TV’s set up throughout the place with a video feed of performances by Frank!
Down to the food…
We decided to try an entrée each and then split a small pizza. I opted for the Cannelloni ($ 12.50) and my friend opted for the Lasagna ($ 12.50). Each dish came with an appetizer of either soup or salad. I went for the salad with Italian dressing and my friend got the minestrone soup.
Wow! All of these dishes were so tasty! Perfect amount of cheese and meat! They didn’t skimp out on the ingredients at all! The cheese was stringy and gooey with every last bite! Que bella!
Plus that minestrone soup was incredible as well! I could have woofed down a heaping portion of just that soup!
As for the small pizza ($ 12.50 and $ 1.95 for each additional topping), it was one of the best pies I’ve ever had the pleasure of sinking my teeth into! We put Italian Sausage (it seemed wildly appropriate) and pineapples. So yummy and with so much flavor!
Service was friendly and attentive. I never once had to wait for a refill on my drink!
My only complaint about this place is the parking situation blows here. Not enough spaces and very claustrophobic. However, I refuse to take it down to 4 stars just for that.
This felt more like an experience instead of just another meal. This place is an absolute «diamond in the rough» and you would be doing yourself an injustice not to experience it for yourself!

This is technically an American style pizza in the same genre as Papa John’s, Pizza Hut and Dominoes. Based on how the undercarriage of the pizza looked, the dough probably had a fair amount of oil and sugar in it (typical of American style crusts). The difference here is that the pizza is baked in a deck oven instead of a conveyor oven. It helps the pizza a bit, but not that much. Otherwise, the ingredients are essentially the same quality as a delivery chain; not terrible, but certainly nothing memorable.
We ordered a Phyllis Special with Sausage, mushrooms, and onions with mozzarella cheese and tomato sauce. The sausage wasn’t home made. Just the typical stuff that’s from a package from the restaurant supply place. The crust was dense, thick and chewy. It didn’t have a great rise or «crumb» structure in the rim (it should have a crisp exterior and a tender interior), and it wasn’t particularly flavorful. The cheese and sauce were forgettable as well
Pizza is experiencing a bit of a renaissance. It’s time to up their game or be relegated to the past.

What a pleasant surprise Casa de Pizza was. I grew up just a couple of miles away and didn’t know this restaurant was here. Using the magic of technology (a smart phone and Unilocal) I discovered the restaurant and decided to give it a try. I came here with my father, nephew, and my nephews girlfriend, we arrived for lunch just as they opened.
The outside is so deceiving as to what awaits you on the inside. Much larger than you would think with seating for 50+ divided between two dining areas. Tables and booths with black and white checkered tablecloths and Frank Sinatra memorabilia covering the walls.
We were seated at a round table and were given menus. Our drink orders were taken and by the time that our drinks arrived we were ready to order. We decided on a large thick crust pizza topped with Pepperoni, Onions, and Garlic. We were asked if we would like some bread, we did and it was brought right out.
As we sat there noshing on on the warm bread, talking, and looking at the Sinatra memorabilia we wondered how we had managed to miss eating here before.
The pizza arrived, it looked and smelled great. I grabbed the first slice and passed the spatula to my dad and around the table it went till we all had a slice on our plates. The crust was perfectly cooked, golden brown and tender on the inside. I could taste each individual topping. I had three slices myself and by the time we were finished there were two pieces left.
We were all very pleased with the restaurant, the level of service, and most of all the quality of the food.
