Mediators help resolve personal and business disputes. I’m an experienced mediator, so if you have a situation and want things to be resolved, contact me. I can probably help. I’m always available for short phone chats to discuss your situation and how things might work out.

I have mediated small claims matters, divorce, workplace, business, Homeowners Associations, and more. I guide everyone through the mediation process, and make sure that the outcome is something that everyone can agree to. Sometimes matters can be resolved by phone; sometimes a mediation takes several meetings.

The final agreement is written up and signed. After the real issues have been identified, this agreement is often only 1 – 2 sheets. You do not have to see or speak to the other person at any time during the mediation process. You do not give up any of your other rights by mediating. If it does not work out, you can still do whatever else you were going to do anyway.

History

Established in 2011.

I am a fully qualified and active mediator, with a focus on business disputes and divorce. I have a law degree from Cambridge, and in addition to mediating professionally I volunteer regularly at the local courthouses to keep diversifying my experience of interesting situations and their resolutions. I opened up my mediation practice in 2011.

On the subject of prices, I generally quote a flat rate for a specific mediation, including preparation and pre-​mediation telephone calls. I will make myself available for a free 15-​minute (strictly enforced) phone consultation to discuss your situation before you book my services.

I am an active member of the mediation community in Southern California. I am not the best person to help you (as sometimes happens in areas such as elder mediation or probate) I can likely find you someone who can.

I mediate disputes between individuals — person to person, consumer issues, and small business. If you have difficulty communicating with someone and that’s why your dispute is not resolved, I can help you.

I understand the issues of divorce. I’ve been through it myself. Looking back, I see how much emotional and financial strain it put on my and my family, and how I could have resolved things more effectively by negotiating more cooperatively, rather than letting our legal representatives battle it out in an adversarial manner.

This is why I am so passionate about having people resolve their situations, both personal and business, through mediation. In the area of divorce, many people are turning to mediators these days to help them find a way forward.

The same is true with any kind of dispute. In most cases, it’s not about winning or losing, or who is wrong or right in the matter, but it’s about finding a way forward that allows everyone to move on with the situation.
