History

Established in 2008.

Culpepper’s Bar & Grill is a dba for The Gamer’s Lounge LLC.

The Original business name was The Gamer’s Lounge. The Gamer’s Lounge was also originally a place you could go to and play video games back in 2009.

In 2010 the business plan was changed to a Sports Bar and then a dba of The Lounge was established. The Lounge then continued on until 2012 in unincorporated Pierce County, WA.

Summer of 2013 The Gamer’s Lounge dba Culpepper’s Bar & Grill was established and opened in Graham, WA. This new location is a Family Friendly Sports Bar. We offer an upstairs area where families are welcome until 9PM everyday with a full menu. Downstairs in the bar area (currently off limits to persons under 21 years of age) we offer pool, darts, arcades, beer garden, live music, DJ, dancing, pull tabs, full menu, and bar.

People always talk about the bad service on the reviews but I havent experienced it. Thier food has been good and service has been average everytime I’ve been there. It tends to be pretty empty though. Its usually either empty or full of bikers.

I have now come back to Culpeppers after the last experience and was pretty happy. We had good drinks and service. The bartender was cool and quick. Overall we enjoyed the experience & the good vibes. It was nice knowing that we had to park around back so that wasn’t an issue. I do still believe they should try to make it more clear about the parking situation. I’m looking forward to trying the burgers next visit.

my husband and I are regulars here for their breakfast food and for their buyers. the Culpeppers classic and mushroom swiss burgers are my favorites. the staff are awesome and the prices are very reasonable.

I’ve only been here a few times and honestly it’s just the same as any other bar. There’s a dance floor but not a lot of people go up to dance. And they play mostly country music. I find the place a bit boring. Oh, and the women’s bathroom’s dirty. Someone should clean that up.

Went Here for a Birthday party Tonight, and I went into the Mens restroom to find that the Mirrors say «FUCK NIGGERS» can someone tell me why management hasn’t taken this down??? As for me and my «black friends. .we will NEVER RETURN!!! IF I COULD GIVE MINUS STARS IT WOULD BE MINUS 5!!!

I stopped here with some friends and ordered the nochos. It wasn’t bad overall. The bang for the buck was pretty spot on. I might come back if I’m in town. I do hear they have great burgers though!

Went here several times for breakfast. Don’t bother! Service is horrible. Coffee sucks! Food is the worst. A microwaved breakfast would be far better. I won’t return even for a beer. Bathrooms are worse than a truck stops. Prices are on high end for crappy food. My last trip was a group of six of us. We all ordered at the same time and yet our food came out in 3 different batches 15 – 20 mins apart. Should have gone to Denny’s!

I don’t generally write a lot of reviews when I should, and hardly give a perfect 5 when I do write a review, but tonight was outstanding! I went in a few weeks ago and had the Bacon and Bleu Burger and it was amazing. Obviously a fresh patty, and cooked perfectly. The service was lacking as it was a busy Saturday night and nobody came to our table for way too long, but the food made up for it.
So I went in again tonight and ordered the same Bacon Bleu Burger to see if it was a fluke. Nope, it was amazing once again! I’m someone who likes a lot of condiments on a burger, but this patty could stand alone and be exceptional. The bacon and bleu cheese made for an even more delicious bite, every time. I sat upstairs, in the family area, and the waitress was very accommodating and attentive, very professional.
Reasonable prices, even on drinks, puts this place as a must visit!

I go to this place at least once a month to eat some food and play pool. The food has always been great! I definitely recommend the Brat-​ger and the fried pickles.
The place gets pretty busy on Friday and Saturday nights on the pool tables… The only way you will get on is if you blatantly walk up and ask to be next. If you don’t, the regulars won’t back off. Don’t be afraid to stand you ground because the regular pool guys can be turds. The security has always been a help when the guys throw a fit about sharing!
I definitely recommend this place for a nice local hang-​out.

I have been here twice in the bar for lunch and they were great. But I made the mistake of dropping by on mothers day after a full day at Mt rainier and we received the worst food ever. 2 out of 3 kids received burned burgers and they ruined our waffle fries by way over cooking them… on top of that they were charging us extra for the crap fries. We also waited 1 to 1.5 hours for our food which Sent everyone over the edge… avoid this place due to the lack of proper management… if they stepped up and offered a credit I would not have written this review as everyone has bad days but to charge full price when you know you screwed up is wrong… note; waitress was good and should look for better employment… not happy cullpeppers…

The servers and bar tenders are wonderful! The food is nothing to write home about. The owners wife is a huge problem. She encourages additional drinking and gambling on those who obviously have dependency issues. Her only concern is profit not the well being of her customers, she flat out only cares about money. Additionally the owner’s wife served me a flat beer and insisted that I finish it and pay for it «beer is beer.»

Alright so I’m an honest « Unilocaler» so let’s update the review… Been back 2 times now and I will say it’s been a better experience each time. Met the owners tonight and I really do appreciate you taking the time to hear me out. Let alone remember my face. You walked up approached the issues and handle with care… I was your infant tonight and you rocked me to sleep. Thank you for that. This is our favorite hangout… we go at least 1 day a week. GREAT environment, fun clean and bright. The owners absolutely make this place in our opinion. They chat with the customers, they care about their staff and they are constantly trying to better it… and this all shows.
It’s a fun environment with pool tables, darts, pull tabs, etc. something for everyone.
We also love the food; i’ts great, can’t wait to see what else they have in store in the future…
Keep up the great work Bill and Nichole, we love you guys and your place.

The food was ok, typical bar food, although the menu was lacking variety. The fried mushrooms were fabulous though! I only gave three stars because our waitress so annoying! She chatted at us the whole time. Constantly asking us if every single thing we ordered was good. Not like normal checking on us, but over the top, made us uncomfortable checking on us. «How’s your soda?» «Is the carbonation ok in it?» «Awe look, your husband shared a sip of his soda.» She came back to talk to us at least ten times before we even got our food. We thought she might have been eavesdropping on our conversation too. Kinda creepy.

Let me explain why I am leaving a bad review, there is more to this story. The owners wife went on a power trip on our party, telling us we needed to leave and make room for her other customers, here is the problem, our party was 30 people strong. We spent a lot if money there, nobody was acting out, besides the owners wife. We will never go back there, there are so many other bars out there, you might not want to piss your patrons off, especially in a small town like this.

I would give Culpepper’s 3 ½ stars. We’ve been frequenting them on Wednesday nights as they have a special of $ 1 beers on wednesdays… pints of their Culpepper’s Lager which is pretty good. The service has always been pretty great, the gal that bartends and covers service on Wednesdays is usually pretty on top of it.
The menu could stand improvement. It doesn’t offer much and it seems that the oil in the fryer needs to be changed– fried foods are sub par and taste like dirty oil. :(
The service and beer will keep us coming back once in awhile, I’d love to see a change up in the menu and better care taken to have clean oil for frying.

First time I was here was for a Seahawks game. Service was very good and the burgers we ordered were great and served quick.
However, we have gone back three times since then and the service was slow. Food sat in the kitchen and got cold. Only people that seemed to get service were ones sitting at the bar. Understaffed and food was not as good as our first visit.
Not a place I would go out of my way to visit.
