I became mesmerized with the Newfoundland breed just by looking at photos in a dog book while frequenting one of my favorite book stores. I then began my search for my first Newfoundland puppy. Mia, my first Newfie, started in the show world in 1998, where I learned a great deal about type, standard, movement, and health.
