I drive two hours just to eat lunch here and every meal is an adventure. While there, grab some maple honey mustard and Vermont syrup. Good is a 10, friendliness likewise. Prices very reasonable. Worth a long drive.

Great little local deli. Great sandwiches & service. Great to deal with a local eatery. All ingredients fresh & tasty. Very friendly & personal-remember your name. Have eaten there several times & plan to come again. We have now been 5 days & each day same great service & sandwiches. Upping from 4 to 5. As good a deli as any I have dined in.

A nice, accommodating lunch place in town. They made up our sandwiches to order and were very friendly. The cheese steak was good and my wife liked the home made soup.

My family and I come in here often on weekends and are always treated like family. The owners wife always comes over and has really long conversations with us; catching up since the last time she saw us. Her husband makes delicious food and never disappoints. They retired in the fall and sold to new owners, so not sure if the menu will be the same or not. Haven’t been in since. Hopefully they keep a great place going. Best of luck to the Mack’s! (Seating outside: beautiful in the fall, cozy chairs and a wood stove inside, small cheese store attached to restaurant).

The wind was howling, the chair lifts at the area ski mt were closing… so we drove to Grafton to explore. Mack’s place looked promising, near the Grafton Cheese store. Tomato cheddar soup was outstanding. Philly cheesesteak sandwich never tasted so good before this. Fresh ciabatta roll and Grafton cheddar cheese, along with good roast beef and horseradish mayo. Hot apple cider, homemade apple pie. What a great meal with friendly, knowledgeable owners. We’ll definitely be back.

not sure which staff the previous reviewer was talking about with their friendly staff comment. The place looked very promising, but when we walked in with my 5 year old son and he found some toys to play with(INTHEIRRESTAURANT) while my spouse checked out the cheese store, we were given several passes by and dirty looks by an older lady, who eventually told us that if my son continued to rip their cardboard paper toys(which were already ripped, he was not ripping them, he never rips anything) she would have to ask us to leave. WOW! Really warm and welcoming! Here’s a tip to the old lady: if you don’t want customers to play with your precious old cardboard cars, how about you remove them from your restaurant??? What a rude biatch. Highly NOT recommended!!! Very child UNFRIENDLY.

They desperate need BBQ sauce around for that meatloaf sandwich. If I am ever back, I will plan better and bring some over from Phelps Barn(their homemade BBQ is baller). That said, this place rocks on so many levels. If I were a local or even a semi-local, I would be here ALLTHETIME. Like, cot in a corner never leaving all the time. They have breakfast and lunch. Tables AND cozy chairs by a wood burning stove. Amazeballs sandwiches, beer selections, etc AND a rack for locals to hang their own mugs to use as they pop in. So great. Even the staff is amazing.

This is a spectacular way to kill a couple hours. They have really nice fresh sandwiches, and a good selection of beers. We killed a couple hours without even noticing. They serve breakfast, they serve lunch. The people are awesome. I would find myself here daily if I lived in town. I am pretty sure that no better place exists in Grafton to chat, eat, and chill. At least I didn’t find one…
