When you first pull up the building looks like a ghost town but the food inside is anything but. Built in 1902 it is one of only 5 buildings left from the once thriving community(love when the placemats share the story of the place). I sat at the bar for dinner. Bartender served me drinks but I also had a waitress take my food order and serve me. I have to say I liked that a lot. Gives you the individual attention that sometimes the bartender is too busy to give. I ordered the Mahi Mahi special and it was cooked to perfection! Flaky and moist. I didn’t even need the pesto lemon sauce that came on the side(even though that was also very good). I opted out of the potatoes and got the grilled asparagus and carrots. I don’t know what was on the carrots but they were fantastic! Cooked just enough to where they still had a snap but didn’t break my teeth on them and they were sweet. The asparagus was grilled but was on the grill way too long and left a bitter taste on my pallet(reason for deducting a star since I couldn’t get that burnt taste out of my mouth). Other than that glad I chanced upon this place!

Ordered haddock beer battered fish fry for carry out. The order was ready quickly and pretty good, but not great. The fish had nice flavor, but only two pieces. It came with cole slaw(ok), rye bread(very good), choice of potato(we chose a baked potato and potato pancake). Unfortunately the baked potato did not come with butter, but it did come with sour cream. Not a big deal since we had butter at home. The potato pancakes were very generic and lacked flavor compared to others. I question if they were freshly made or pre-made bought from a supplier. The fish was very good with nice flavor. Overall it was pretty good, better than most in Ozaukee County but still not what I would call great. However, it was one visit, so it may well be better next time and it’s nice to have a locally owned restaurant, so I do recommend this place. UPDATE: On second thought, choose wisely as we both suffered from some serious ‘after-effects’ for two days. Neither of us became violently ill, but we did have a number of unfortunate ‘reminders’ of the taste and smell of the food for the next couple of days, if you know what I mean…

Sadly may have been the worst perch I’ve ever had. I love love love a good fish fry. Have had many amazing perch fries around Wisconsin and this one did not meet expectations. We were brought to the«back» dining room. It was quaint. And by quaint I mean stuffed full of people barely able to push our chair without hitting people next to us. And also loud because a lot of people talking in a small room. Our server was super nice and attentive. Our fish came. One look and I asked my husband if he was over cooked too. The breading was dark brown and layered on thick. I purposely get breaded over beer battered for a less thick breading. We both took a bite and it was not delicious. She offered to send it back. We were starving so I hesitated but she brought our fries back to nibble on while we waited. The second batch. The same. I cut into mine and it dropped out watery liquid all over my plate I cut another filet in half and it too was all watery on the inside and crusty brown on the outside. The fries were good though. The waitress explained it’s the oil from cooking fish over and over.(umm. Time to change the oil?). I think our server was afraid to come back after we were done(which was 30 seconds later) because neither my husband nor I ate more than 1 bite She was friendly and I know it was not her fault the food was terrible. But we ended up paying full price for two meals that were not touched(no offer of a discount swapping something else. Free dessert etc which isn’t always expected but a nice touch when someone is clearly unhappy) Sadly we won’t be back.

The food is nothing special, mediocre at best. The atmosphere is of a north woods supper club which in my opinion is great. The staff is hit or miss sometimes they are the friendlies people in the world and other times you are treated like a burden. The bar is small but nice you can pick out the regulars by where the bartender(who I also think is the owner) is standing and talking. Like I said this place is nothing special but I see why some people enjoy it. For my wife and I we like our restaurants a little more consistent.

This place is always good. I come here every time I’m in town. The chicken Marsala is the best I’ve ever had. Only available on Wednesday

Ran out for a last minute dinner and glad we stopped here. Was only looking for soup and sandwich but I’m I glad I settled for the queen cut prime rib. Cooked perfectly, extremely tender and tasty. Wife had the salmon Oscar and again very well prepared and tasted great. Wait staff was very cordial and attentive.

They have great fish fries here. It’s always busy and there’s pretty much always a wait but never for too long. I’ve always had good service but their drinks are hit or miss. If you get fish on a Friday night the food comes out within a few minutes. The restaurant itself is pretty dim and looks kind of shabby(especially the outside) but everything inside is nice and clean.

This place is a very unassuming restaurant. Looks like a dive bar from the front but the menu is top notch. The French onion soup was awesome and our meals, salmon Oscar and NY strip, were fantastic. We have the Packer game on TV, good food, good drink… What more could a girl ask for?

Good food and service. Atmosphere was traditional bar, but we did go around 3PM so not a traditional meal time. My boyfriend ordered the blackened chicken wrap and he said it was very good. I had the Philly cheese steak which was good, very meaty and I loved that the cheesy was actually stringy(so good cheese, not the fake stuff). Definitely would go back again.

A great place to catch the Packer’s game! My wife and I were heading back to Milwaukee to catch a flight and wanted to catch a bite and see some of the Packer game before hitting the airport. We saw the sign for Juice’s Ghost Town on highway 43 and said what the heck. Well, we were pleasantly surprised at the great rustic atmosphere, lively crowd, and attentive wait staff. Our waitress was superb! While she couldn’t recommend one of the local brews(since she hasn’t tried them because she isn’t yet 21), she did help us find some great appetizers on the menu and made sure our beer glasses were never empty. We intended to only stay for a bite and a drink, but ended up staying for the rest of the game due to the great fun we were having. Drop in and give them a try! We’ll be back next time we’re in the area!

It’s kind of an odd looking place that was close to my hotel. I decided to give it a try. The staff and patrons were very friendly, and the open-face steak sandwich was delicious at a very reasonable price. My hotel said to be sure to ask about the«Ghost Town» name. I did, and the server took a letter off the wall and brought it to my table. The place has a bit of an interesting history. If you want to learn about it, go to eat at Juice’s Ghost Town, and ask about the story.

Driving back to Chicago we happened to get off at the exit in Grafton looking for a place to eat dinner. Using Unilocal and Google maps we found a couple of area restaurants and this one had good reviews so we decided to give it a try. The place is very old school looking but not in a run down way. The waitress was extremely attentive and very nice. We had no idea what to expect but it smelled great in there. All the food came out and was delicious. The Ribeye and prime rib were perfectly cooked and very flavorful. I will definitely be back when I pass through the area again!

Super old school place, kind of like a supper club with a diverse menu. From sandwiches to steaks and everything in between. The wait staff is mostly attentive and the bartenders are rather entertaining. Food is usually very good and fish frys here are pretty solid. Good choice when in the general area!

It’s like going to someone’s home and having okay food and it’s dark, cramped and old looking. The sodas were watery and the food is definitely not the best I have had. Service was fine. I was expecting more because I drive by here and every night the parking lot is completely full.

This was a chance stop. We were actually looking for a different restaurant, but couldn’t find it, so we saw the lights, and decided to check this place out. I had the grilled chicken pesto sandwich, which was delicious! My brother had the fish fry.(3 different fish – Perch, haddock, walleye. Your choice of beer battered or breaded) He reports both fish and potato pancakes were very good. Service was very attentive, with waitress right behind the hostess. Food delivery was prompt, as was the clean up after.

Been here about a dozen times. Food is usually good, but we have had some duds, and many mediocre dishes. Service is usually always good, but menu is definitely over-priced. Its OK.

I’ve only had one dining experience at Juice’s Ghost town, but it was a pleasant one. The restaurant/bar has a pretty cool ambiance. There is something ghosty about this restaurant. It’s a big old house and once you are inside, it feels like you have fallen into a different time or space. It was almost 9PM when we stopped by this restaurant, so there weren’t many people dining. However, there were some customers drinking and having fun at the bar. The lights were dimmed, which, quite appropriately, made the place feel even more eerie. The food and service were good! I ordered a baked French onion soup as my first course. The soup was simply delicious. It was rich and oniony with a beautiful cheese crust on top. There were also croutons in the soup. For my main course, I ordered Alaskan king crab legs, which they serve on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of every month. The crab legs were cooked properly and tasted quite good. The asparagus had too much smoke flavor for my taste. I would definitely return to this eerie Ghost Town for its food, service, and ambiance!

Great, cold beer! I had the Cajun pork chops and it was awesome! The pork was very tender and the spices made it delectable. From there, add on a Cajun cream sauce and I was stuffed. The best part was I took home one of the pork chops since I was full. My parents chose the meatloaf, which had ketchup and bacon on the top. With corn and mashed potatoes on the side, I can only guess it was delicious since they were contently eating away. A note for the drinkers: when the train goes by, shots are only $ 1! Fun atmosphere in a comfortable but typical Wisconsin bar!

Great Friday fish fry! Very crowed so if you are not there by 5:30 plan on waiting in the small, cramped bar… the crowd lessons around 7:30. They also have great burgers.

I have had some ups and downs at this place. The first time I went, it was outstanding, but then the next time just okay. I have continued to have this teeter-totter experience and I just can’t figure out why. I will keep this a 3 for now and will consider moving it up in the future. The place is small, so it can get crowded. Thank goodness for the non-smoking law in Wisconsin now becasue this place(mainly a bar) was really bad for smoke prior to the law being passed.
