I hired Landscape Problem Solvers to take care of our HOA landscaping and front entrance. When the work started in the spring, things seemed fine but then the neighbors began to complain about the quality of work (thin pine straw, weeds 24 inches tall, etc). We had 3 sprinkler heads broken by the workers, which we paid to repair. I expressed our concerns with Charles (by phone and text) and his office manager, Nancy (by phone). Things seemed to get better for a week or two and then the complaints from neighbors started again. In June 2014, I texted Charles that we would not be continuing our contract with Landscape Problem Solvers into 2015 and had a follow up conversation with Nancy as well. We paid our 2014 contract and thought that our relationship was over. Yesterday, there was a crew from Landscape Problem Solvers working in the entrance. I called Charles and was told that we didn’t end our contract, that a text and phone call is not sufficient notice. I immediately sent an email to Charles and Nancy asking them to stop the work immediately. I was told that I was required to give more notice.
I would like Landscape Problem Solvers to accept our termination of services effective immediately.
