Excellent service and tasty desserts, went there last night after dinner for dessert and everything there was just perfect, the workers even came by a few times and asked how we were doing, will try to stop by one more time before going back home Wednesday

A few days ago, I met a colleague here for lunch. And, as mentioned in my 4⁄2015 review, I said that I would try their desserts. Well, the place was pretty crowded and the service was great. I ordered the Chili Cheese Fries. They were delivered piping hot and tasted great. Since I was still a bit hungry and wanted to try one of the desserts, I went back and ordered the Chocolate Brownie Delight. And, oh what a delight it was! So, for their CCFs and desserts, I’ll be back.

Burgers are ok, but the custard is REALLY good. I’m not a huge fan of shoestring fries… but that’s just me. The flavors on the burger are pretty tasty, maybe it’s a preference, but I’d rather a thick juicy burger and theirs are paper thin.

Had the $ 6.39 double bacon steakburger, wifey had the $ 5.89 double«patty melt» To call the beef patty a «steak burger», or certainly double anything may be a bit off. They were extremely thin barely hanging together slabs of meat, as if someone brutally hammered them flat then grilled them that way. The fixins of sliced onion, sliced pickle strips and mustard were generously piled. Not so much bacon really. All in all, it was tasty to eat though left me wanting more, perhaps if they piled 2 or 3 of the meat slabs and loaded more bacon it would be perfect. We will return one day to see if they have an offering with more meat. Price could be better, drive through was a bit slow, though they gave us a sample of the soft serve(similar to McDonald’s «ice cream» equivalent) for the wait. We’ve yet to try the famous custard or blends. That’s our first taste of Freddy’s.

Don’t eat here unless you have an hour. We’ve been sitting in the dining room for 25 minutes and very little food is coming out of the kitchen. Two tables have food. Everyone else has been waiting for their food longer then us. One table just got a refund and left. I’m warning people as they come in the door so their leaving. It looks like a Chinese fire drill in the kitchen. What a mess. They need a new manager and some organization at this Freddies.

So their hot dog was fantastic. All beef and better than other chains. They have shoe string fries that were crisp and delicious. Best fries for fast food for sure. Kinda like a mix of steak and shake and a culvers. I would come back again.

The only reason I can’t bump it up one more star is price. Freddy’s is very tasty and employees are very friendly, but when a patty is super thin and I mean thin and the fries are probably a half potatoes worth but the shoestrings shape make it seem like much more you expect to pay a little less. It is my only issue, I will say the custard is delicious and every now and then if we are in the area when we want something different than the typical fast food establishments we will venture out to Freddys.

I have gone to this location before, but only for the WONDERFUL chocolate custard ice cream. Today I decided I would try the burger and dog combo. OMG… the burger was super. I thought my go to place for burgers was Smashburger, but now its Freddy’s. It was a single with mustard, a slice of white onion(mmmmm) and 2 pickle slices – simple but spectacular. My sister had the dog with mustard and kraut… she thoroughly enjoyed it, especially the grilled bun. The only down side was the fries as I am not a fan of super-thin fries(same problem at Smashburger). Next time I will try the onion rings! BTW-I’ve been to Culvers, In-n-out and all the others… Freddy’s is the best. Especially the chocolate custard.

Lets take Steak n Shake burgers and fries, Culver’s custard, In-n-Out style burgers and what do yo uhave? Freddy’s! I’ve never heard of this place until now, just moved to AZ from TX. I love steak n shake and this is a nice substitute. It’s a little over priced but good food. Me and the hubby brought our boys here, we all had burgers except for my 2yr old he had the grill cheese which wasn’t all that great, he only ate the fries. Then we had custard which was really good. All in all we had a good experience, we would definitely visit again. Great for familes

Sometimes you just have to have a burger. There are those days, when you just have to have a buger. So when you are craving a greasy, fast-food, burger like no other, make Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers your stop. Tonight, my family and I feasted on double burgers, Chicago dogs, fries, and onion rings. The food was served hot and made to order. I really enjoyed the hot dog. The Chicago Dog is served on a grilled the bun, and yes it was buttery goodness. The fries are shoestring and served piping hot and the steakburgers, although thin are delicious and are served fresh. The only downside, they need to do a better job at busing down the seating area, it was hard to find a clean table. So if your craving good food fast, stop by Freddy’s.

Went to day to get the best banana shake you can find anywhere, prices have gone up some but ok it happens. Took a drink & there was a fly on the top I saw after the drink awesome! sent my daughter in to get a refund they gave her another shake & a card for a free menu item in the future which I do appreciate, We all looked for flies there were none it was a little fruit fly it happens I do like how the staff was extremely sorry & the manager stepped in when it took 15 minutes to replace the shake because 1 girl didnt understand she was working in the fast food industry no creating a gourmet sundae for another customer, apparently she threw out a few sundaes because the whipped cream didnt look right when she put it on top…

We tried Freddy’s again today. It was around lunch time so the business was busier, but the dinner room and condiment area was much cleaner. The food was pretty good. The double burger you can notice the meat on the bun way more than the single burger. My wife had the fish sandwich and thought it very good. The skinny fries still take some getting used to. We tried the ice cream today also and it was very rich and creamy. The customer service was outstanding not just from the manager Amanda, but the entire team from what we had noticed. We would return here based on today.

This review is solely based on the(mini) Chocolate Brownie Delight Sundae. It’s hard to put something that amazing into words. Smooth, rich, and decadent. It was like heaven in my mouth. And I’m not even a huge chocolate person. But it was delicious. I also tried the mini Dirt n’ Worms Sundae, which was yummy too, but the Chocolate Brownie… OMG. So good! Try it, you’ll love it.

Tried Freddy’s in Goodyear today for lunch. First time for me, wasn’t sure what to expect. I’d call it a combination of Steak n Shake, Culver’s and In n Out. I had the double, glad I did because they have the slimmest burger patties I’ve ever had. Ever. But it was delicious. The butter bun is good and they added grilled onions(no charge) upon request. The shoestring fries were very good, but so thin I found myself eating them by the handful. Very friendly and efficient staff, clean dining area with a heavy 50’s theme. I will go back, and will have to try the custard everyone here is raving about. Maybe even, tomorrow!

Decided to stop by here on the way home from work for a sundae. I decided to get a Turtle Sundae and see how it was. specifically compared to Culvers. The sundae was good but it pales in comparison to Culvers. Freddys has a bit more hot fudge, but way less nuts plus the sundae was already mostly melted by the time it got to me through the drive through. It was still good though… don’t get me wrong, it’s just not in the same category as Culvers Turtle Sundae(It’s pretty much perfection). I would like to come back and try out their burgers and fries though. There is one closer by work so I may hit that up.

Good burgers. Great concretes. No sure why we didn’t try this place sooner. Since going the first time a couple months back, we’ve been there every week or two. Burgers are good. Fries a super yum. Dogs are okay. But the concretes are amazing. It’s one of our new faves for frozen treats. Nice service staff, as well. They get food out quickly and it actually looks similar to the advertisement pictures. The manager even made rounds to check on folks. Haven’t seen that nice touch in a while.
