History
Established in 1969.
In 1969 Lowell Hoff moved his family from Milwaukee to St. Charles where he purchased Sellner Funeral Home of St. Charles and Rollingstone. In 1983 Lowell’s son Tim joined him as they purchased Romnes Funeral Home of St. Charles and Lewiston. Lowell’s son Gary joined the firm in 1993; in 1995 they purchased Cook Funeral Homes of Rushford and Houston. In 1996 the Hoff’s merged with Burke Funeral Home of Winona, Douglas Hansen then joined the firm as manager of the Winona Funeral Home. Tim’s wife Jenny and Gary’s wife Sue are very active in serving families also.

Business Owner
Tim is a graduate of St. Charles High School and a 1980 graduate of the University of Minnesota, Department of Mortuary Science. Jenny is a Registered Nurse, graduating from the Rochester Community College School of Nursing in 1980. They joined Tim’s father Lowell in 1983. Tim and Jenny are both involved in the Children’s Grief Connection, which offers Hearts of Hope family grief camp. Tim is past president of the Minnesota Funeral Directors Association and the Lewiston Lions Club. They have four children, Ashley, Alyssa, Danielle and Tyler. Tim serves as a funeral director, Jenny as office manager and family care counselor.
