History

Established in 1996.

Surf Country was opened by local surfboard shaper and former pro surfer Jeff Jasiorkowski in the fall of 1996. His manager and long time employee Doug Yartz took over July of 1999. His love for surfing and deep roots in the community helped Surf Country grow into what most consider «The real surf shop experience «. In a single day its not uncommon to see Doug and his staff do 5 repairs, 2 surf lessons and a several rentals all while helping every customer at the counter like there the only one in the store. Surf Country is a shop for the bro’s not the pros.
