Who would’ve known that goleta would have such legit technicians with superior knowledge in modifying and maintaining modded cars!
Brought in my gen coupe with rear coilover problems. Sounded like a locking collar was loose on my way up form LA. Ryan at RR motorworks was able to fix it on a last minute call AND was kind enough to only charge me for half an hour since it was an easy fix.
This garage has integrity in their technicians and in their work. DONT HESITATE WHEN HITTING EM UP! They’re not here to jip you for their own gain. They’re here to legitimately help you and your car to be outstanding. I’ll Be back, there’s no doubt about it

I met Ryan quiet some time ago. Friendly guy. We got to talking about his car and he told me he had a customization shop. Didn’t think much of it as I don’t really modify my car. Fast forward a few months and I needed some trim vinyl wrapped, I remembered Ryan whole car was vinyl wrapped so I inquired with him on if he could do my trim. His quote was very reasonable so I was a bit worried as the trim piece was very large and awkward shaped. Low and behold Ryan wrapped it perfectly I couldn’t even tell it wasn’t factory. Speedy turn around and great price stayed. Few months went by and I didn’t think I’d be visiting Ryan again as I didn’t need any car modifications, however the time came for new tires and I had horrible experiences with both big brand and dal pazzo previously. Gave Ryan a ring and he told me he could do it. Was surprised it seems like they do any job at R&R no problem! Quote was cheaper then anywhere else, once again fast turn around and Ryan actually cared for my wheels while mounting and actually torqued my lugs properly (I still can’t believe places like Big Brand don’t use a torque wrench). Best part even after the tire disposal fee the cost was cheaper then the quote! Highly recommend him for not just modifications (no real options in Santa Barbara??) but even the small stuff!

Contacted Ryan to do a simple oil change, and was greeted with amazing service. I was able to schedule my car to get serviced the same day, and had it in and out within an hour! Prices were very reasonable for full synthetic. I would definitely recommend this place for any of your car’s maintenance. Ryan and Ralph know tons about cars, and if they can’t do anything about it, I’m sure they’ll point you towards the right direction.

I contacted Ryan after I noticed my tires were worn down to the wire. Being as my tires were special order, he got them within 2 days and got them mounted and balanced quickly and was able to fit me in the schedule after I got out of work.
While waiting, I decided to try out forza on their steering wheel setup and sucked immensely but that’s another story.
All in all I was happy with the service and now I’m not scared of hitting a pothole and having a blowout on the freeway.

Great place to get quality work done. Ryan knows a lot about Japan domestic cars.

Love this place! Been coming here since they first opened a few years ago and will continue to do so. Ryan and Ralph really know their stuff around all sorts of cars ranging from American to Japanese. These guys have installed multiple performance parts on my Subaru ranging from a bigger turbo to suspension to external wastegates and now I have an Evo they have installed my coilovers and exhaust. They have killer pricing on synthetic oil changes as well, highly recommend R&R!

I brought my evo X in to install the aero kit. They did really good job on the car! Ryan is a really nice guy, and he give me a lot of suggestion on car modification. It is a good place to mod and maintain the car！

My daughter is away at school in SB and called me that had a flat. I went to Unilocal!This place had 5 stars, which i think is hard to get! Ryan was great! Got me the tire I needed the next morning. Gabe me options for different types of tires. Reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend them! Thanks for taking easing a worried parent.

R and R motorworks was a easy and fast trip. The owner there was very kind and efficient. I needed a nail in my tire removed and plugged, and he immediately helped me while explaining which type of plug he was using and why. The service was cheap and the owner was knowledgable and trustworthy. Plus, he provides a spacious upstairs waiting room– complete with Netflix, a candy bowl, and a variety of magazines!

I initially came in for 1 tire because I had a blowout, but when they inspected the rest if my tires, they were all completely worn! They have the best prices in town and was extremely satisfied with their professionalism and attention to detail. I waited upstairs while my car was being fixed and it didn’t seem long at all because they had free wifi and a nice comfy couch and TV to watch Netflix. Would definitely recommend to all my friends.

I had a very positive experience at R&R! I took my car in for an oil change and from check in to check out they were extremely kind and helpful. Not to mention, they had a very nice waiting room with wifi and Netflix. They also took the time to check out a questionable noise I was hearing from my car. Finally found the première custom auto shop for performance cars in the Santa Barbara/​Ventura area.
I have struggled to find someone in my area that possesses a fully comprehensive knowledge+skill set for my specific car (09 sti), and Ryan takes it to another level of expertise. I only wish I knew about RnR Motorworks sooner.
Expert consultation combined with perfect installation make RnR Motorworks my new go to for custom work and regular maintenance. Would give 6 stars if I could.

I came here to have my oil changed for my 1998 4Runner. I needed high mileage synthetic oil which was surprisingly difficult for me to find but they were able to go out of their way to help me find exactly what I was looking for. They were very friendly and I would absolutely recommend them to a friend.

I ordered a full HID Retro kit for my 2012 Maxima and I was having a hard time finding anyone in all of Santa Barbara that was willing to do them. I got so frustrated that I was willing to drive down to Ventura to get the kit installed. The process involves removing the headlights and baking them open to rebuild the interior light to become HID. I was ready to return the kit and on my very last try I found RR Motorworks.
Ryan was responsive and knowledgeable. Communication is top notch from these guys. The price was right on par with anyone that bothered to return my calls but the service put these guys a cut above. They were very accommodating with my schedule.
Picked my car up. The job looked well done. The lights lit up the night. Just as important is the feeling when I left that I got treated well and for a fair price.
I don’t bother to post a review often, only when I feel that I can really help someone. I don’t know much about newer cars so I have to rely on my gut. I feel that I have found a great mechanic.

Went to R&R Motorworks to get some general maintenance done to my car and some new tires as well they did an awesome job and got my car runner like new again I was extremely happy with the Quality work that got done and will keep coming to them for all my future car needs thanks R&R Motorworks

Dropped by the shop and had some HID headlights upgrade for my 2013 Mercedes C350 coupe. Friendly people with fast & clean job, good price!

I went here and got my radiator done and it was wonderful customer service. Family ran as much as I could see both father and son are knowledgable about what they are doing and have very reasonable prices. They also have a warranty on parts they repair and one of few places in town that have a buy back plan for the parts that they repair.

Ralph and his team were timely, professional and inexpensive when it came to doing a quick aftermarket bolt-​on to my car. Their work was great and they even have a waiting area with wi-​fi so I could get some work done while I waited. Highly recommended shop, would definitely go back.

Spent a long time looking for a shop to wire up a third brake light on my rare aftermarket Mugen spoiler on my 1998 Honda Prelude. The wiring on the spoiler was not compatible with the wiring on my car.
I went to different shops around town to see if they would try to do the wiring but they all rejected me. Then when I thought there was no hope, I came across R&R today and Ryan told me he would do it without hesitation. Long story short, 30 minutes later (waiting in their comfy waiting room) it was all done. Hands down the best shop experience I have ever had. Most mechanic shops don’t even have a clean space for customers to sit at. If these guys care that much about their customers, that says a lot about how much they care about the cars they work on. Not to mention it didn’t cost an arm and a leg to get this wiring done. Super happy with their work!
Ralph and Ryan are going above and beyond to make cars look good and feel great. I would totally recommend them to all my friends and family. Keep it up Guys!
