Bart is great. He picked up on a noise that didn’t sound right with my machine and persisted until he found the cause and fixed it. Very knowledgeable, personable, and reasonable. I highly recommend him.

I cant say enough about Bart. He came to my house (and was on time), took my machine apart, and even fixed some manufacturer defects. He was very helpful and taught me some things I didnt even know my machine did! He even had some extra feet that I bought for him for my quilting projects. I would highly recommend him to anyone with any sewing machine. Call him first before you give up on your machine.

Mr. Cubbage is my man too. OMG, he keeps my old singers humming along. Very Good prices for his service and lovely person. Very recently (Jun 2014) he serviced a Singer 401A I inherited from my mother. No one had probably sewn on it in 25 – 30 yrs. I’m using it almost daily now. So very quiet. If you live anywhere near his service area, you are a lucky person. Not sure if he works on those really fancy computerized machines. Showed me how to find even MORE stitches than the machine shows.

Mr. Cubbage was just here to fix my good-​enough portable sewing machine that has been slowly acting more wonky with time. I thought it was time for a new machine. But he cleaned and adjusted the entire machine, showed me a few tricks and features I never knew about, and left here assuring me that the machine would work well for decades to come.
His fees were modest, especially when compared to the cost of a new machine. And the way he chatted through my entire machine, showing me things I never would have learned by dropping it off somewhere, was incredibly valuable.
