I mean the coffee is good but this location– service is SO slow. Stopped here on my drive home. No one in line, 4 drinks on the bar and I’m just standing waiting for 7 minutes for an iced coffee.

I love this location! The baristas are kind and helpful and make great drinks. My new favorite place to come and study; but you have to hurry, because the seats are usually all occupied! Plus I’m in LOVE with the Orchard Peach iced Green Tea! Yum

Great service and consistent drinks. I always get the caramel ice blended with whipped cream and they make it really well

Better than Starbucks. I think the one thing that keeps me coming back is the customer service. The employees are incredible and I hope they keep hiring the way they are hiring because the atmosphere is incredibly friendly. Coffee and tea done exactly the way it should be and the tables are always clean. One of the best in Santa Barbara!

Wifi here is great! They serve coffee and iced tea. The iced teas aren’t too flavorful though. A nice place to study !! Only issue is there are only a few tables inside so it gets packed pretty easily. They have a few tables outside as well.

Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf on Calle Real has great coffee, tea, and customer service. Amanda who works there even offers a free monthly tea class to teach you about and taste different teas! It was quite fun, I learned a lot and grew much more appreciative of different types of teas. Amanda even gave us some free sample teas to take home. It’s hard if not impossible to find this kind of customer service elsewhere.

I really appreciate how. much extra effort they take. the maneger is great. Super efficient. I’ve ordered business coffee carafes several times and only had one time. go a little off and it was on a day the maneger wasn’t there. He’s a good leader and the do alot for schools around Goleta and SB. Great coffee and great service.go.there not. the Starbucks in Goleta.

I go to coffee bean in Goleta at least once a week. I am always treated very well there. The iced cappuccinos there are very tasty as well as the pastries. I usually go there to study for midterms. The tables are generally very spacious.

The baristas are very nice. One of my favorite places to study. Also seems like a place that the local cops like to frequent.

Went to this place at 12:50pm on a Saturday. They were completely out of bagels. At least there were none in the case. We would have asked if they had any in the back but the two employees we could see were too busy chatting with each other to say hi or let us know they will be right there. We left after 3 min.

So like any other coffee chain, this is a pretty standard place. Serves coffee that is the same as everywhere else, nothing particularly exciting.(+2 stars) I don’t know why, but every time I go to this particular coffee bean, I always find myself needing about 15 – 20 minutes to get a drink. What’s weird is that sometimes there are only about 2 customers ahead of me… Maybe they are understaffed?(–1 star) To alleviate that problem, I started to call in my order ahead of time, a pretty convenient service. Considering I have a part-time job close by, sometimes I just need that quick coffee fix. With that being said, I have a good and bad experience with this service. So, the obvious good is that my drink is ready and Im able to get the transaction done within a short amount of time.(+2 stars) The one bad time I went was when I called in my order and they just completely forgot when I came to pick it up.(–1 star). Nonetheless, it is a pretty decent place and I’ll probably keep going there.

I love coming here on a weekend to catch up on some reading. It’s hardly crowded when I come in so I appreciate the environment more than a Starbucks. The drinks are awesome and the staff is friendly.

Don’t go here if you are in a hurry. Also out of almost all baked goods when I went the last time. Staff is friendly at least.

It seemed to be a «typical» coffee house. Grabbed some Jasmin tea on the go(as we were passing through). Area on a Sunday morning was nice and peaceful, and the shoppe was not too crowded. Only downside was that they said they would charge us for a small amount of honey was ask to have put in our teas. That kinda left me thinking…“wow they’re cheap!”

I’ve been a regular here for nearly four years and it’s OK. I’d much rather go here than to a Starbucks. When I first started going here they had a middle-aged man that was managing the store. And boy, did he keep on top of things. Most mornings I would order my drink, go to the back counter and wait not more than two minutes and my hot latte would be handed to me. That manager left and things slowed down a bit, they hired a manager who was really sweet but didn’t stay on top of the details and things really slowed down. There were times we would walk in there and they would have a gaggle of people working in the back and it would still take 10 – 15 minutes for a drink. She is gone now so I’m hoping things improve. One of the baristas is now a supervisor and things seem to be running better with her. We will see. Otherwise, I do enjoy their drinks and bakery selection. They have mini Krispy Kreme doughnuts so I guess that almost makes up for the longer wait time. Plus, every time I go in I see a lot of the same people that live or work in the area which is kind of neat. I especially love the four ol’ boys that hang out every morning.

I used to work here back in college! As a customer, I will say that CBTL turned me off of Starbucks, especially for the wide selection of teas offered. Comfortable place to study inside, and a nice sidewalk patio area out front.

Good coffee, good environment, friendly staff… what more can you ask for at a coffee shop? Oh right free wifi. I get their iced hazelnut café latte with nonfat milk and it’s amazing. P. s. Awesome place to study if you don’t want to be breathing in depressing library air all the time… and not to sound creepy but good place to people watch, don’t deny we all do it.
