I have been looking for good Korean food for 5+ years and I think I found it! The bulgogi is fantastic and traditional. The prices are reasonable. They have Korean and Japanese food to include sushi. The outside of the building is not that appealing but if you can get past that the inside isn’t bad and the food is great! Service was very friendly. We will DEF be coming back again!

Family owned. I’ve eaten here twice. The kimchi is delicious! If you’re looking for the Ritz go somewhere else, but if you want decent food, try it!

Horrible, is this a joke? I seen«hidden gem» and other raving reviews. Unilocal has to be on its way down hill. For anyone to consider this place anything put a sub par place is either lying or their top dining experience is a lunch coupon to the Olive Garden. At $ 23 for myself I literally just ate a bowl of rice, what a waste. The Beef Bulgogi, a Korean dish– was fatty cheap beef that when it started to cool off was not able to be eaten. The tuna roll was bland, yes bland and your can tell the tuna was sitting around for a while. The miso soup, was hot water mix like from the supermarket, and the green tea– well it was hot water. I never had a loose leaf tea that didn’t brew, well I found it here at this«hidden gem»!!! Insane. This place is beyond bad. Go anywhere but here. The place is cheesy as hell, and make you feel cheap. Just look at my photos. Hey waitress was very nice, but for $ 23 bucks I can pay someone to be nice to me and just eat a bowl of rice. Screw this place– hope this review helps someone to never go here.

One of my new favorite places to eat in Goldsboro. I’ve been looking for some good Asian food around the area and Narita’s is now at the top. Great interior, good service, and the food is amazing. Korean approved. Menu is a little off with Korean /Japanese mix but it’s still good food.

The food was excellent. Anna the owner is extremely nice and she makes you feel welcomed. The kimchi is homemade by Miss Anna and extremely good. I highly recommend this restaurant to one and all. I will definitely be back

My wife constantly talked about this place and the owner before we moved up from TX. Great place, great people. The beef bulgolgi is fantastic. Everything I ate was.

I heard this was the best Korean restaurant in town… I have the feeling people say that because it might be the ONLY Korean restaurant in town. I ordered the beef bulgogi w/kim-chi and paid ~$ 15. The portion size did not match the price nor did the taste. I’ve had much better Korean food elsewhere. I’d come back if I were really craving Korean… or maybe I’d just go to the Asian market down the street and make it myself.

For fast food this place is awesome. My girl and I love picking up some take out. The portions are huge! A large is more than enough for 2 people to be stuffed. Rolls are all good. The service is amazing. The owner always recognizes us and remembers what we like. Very doable prices. The yum yum sauce is off the chain.

Very good food. The portions were a bit small but for the price it was ok. Menu was small but what we had was very tasty. The prices are very reasonable. My husband has sushi and bulgogi and I had the Terriyaki chicken. Def will go back.

Visited this place hoping to get a quick bite to eat before shopping in Goldsboro. Not a bad establishment, kind of hidden behind another building but the interior is cute and modest. Definitely not a night on the town place more of a quick lunch type place. After contemplating between bulgogi and bibimbap, I chose to go for a Bento box with bulgogi, salad, and a California roll. I know not terribly authentic from the get go. The bulgogi actually had decent flavor and the rice was obviously Korean but the salad and California roll left something to be desired. The waitress while extremely sweet would disappear into the back for long periods of time… I couldn’t even ask for wasabi or ginger because she never checked on the table. Eh… I might comeback for lunch if I was really craving bulgogi but more than likely this will be a one time stop.

I usually order the beef bulgogi plate when I’m at Narita’s. The service is wonderful and the food has great flavor. The portions of the food is good. The restaurant is also nicely decorated and clean. I would highly recommend this Korean restaurant.

A cute little korean restaurant that has a decent amount of food to choose from. I usually order either the bibimbap or the galbi. The mandoo is a bit on the small side but still tastes good. The galbi is always really tender and full of flavor and the bibimbap is more filling than it looks. The only thing I don’t like is that unlike most korean restaurants I’ve been to, there are none of those free yummy little side dishes with different types of veggies brought to your table.

Good Korean food priced right. Take out is quick, staff is friendly, portions are just right. The bugolgi and dumplings are fantastic, tempura is decent. I’m not a big fan of sushi, but I’ve heard from others(sushi lovers) it’s great. For the value, speed and friendliness, it can’t be beat in Goldsboro.

Had korean hot pork. It was good. This is not a typical korean Resturant. No kimchi and other condiments unless you order them and you are charged for it.

Great little«hole in the wall» Korean restaurant. My absolute favorite dish are the ribs. They are thinly sliced peices of marinated short ribs served with sticky rice and a side salad. So delicious! The ginger dressing for the salad is so tasty I could probably drink it from the bottle. I am also a huge fan of the Bibimbap. I do not know exactly what is in it but I can never pick one meal over the other so I get both the ribs and Bibimbap. Half gets saved for lunch the next day. The wait staff, as mentioned in other reviews, are nice but not 5 star staff. I don’t go for the staff though I go for the wonderful food. We will continue to make the 35 minute, one way, drive about once a week because the place is worth it.

First time trying this place. I came in for lunch and they have daily specials. I ordered the beef bulgogi which comes with rice and two dumplings for 5.99. It was absolutely delicious! Not too salty, not too sweet and just filling enough for lunch. Men might want to order an appetizer with it, but for someone with an average appetite it was just right! Would definitely return.

I love Narita Express. It’s the«hole in the wall» gem you are proud to know about and can impress your out of town guests with. The food is always delicious and much better quality than other Asian restaurants in Goldsboro. The portions are generous and they have awesome combination platters so you can enjoy a little bit of everything. The staff is always really friendly and helpful. The first time I visited to order take out, I think the owner hand-delivered my food to me after cooking it in the kitchen. To summarize, great food, good prices, variety and a friendly staff. Go here!

Although the location isn’t a great one, the food is the finest in Goldsboro. The beef bulgogi is perfecto and the best in the surrounding states! The cucumber Kim Chee is always wonderful too.

The service, amount of food, and décor left something to be desired. The bulgogi was pretty good, I just thought they could have provided more. I wanted something to drink, and I had to go up to the counter to wait for a staff member to come out from the back. I’ll definitely go again for lunch, so I’ll give it another try and see if maybe it was just a first-time anomale, because I really want to like it more!

This little gem of a restaurant is tucked away in a not-so-great location. I say that, not because it’s in a bad neighborhood, but because they just aren’t very visible. If they were, I’m sure business would be booming, because the food is terrific. If you’ve never tried bulgogi(basically, it’s Korean BBQ), do yourself a favor and go to Narita for lunch. They have great lunch specials that include beef, chicken or pork bulgogi. I’m not a fan of the pork, never tried the chicken, but OMG the beef bulgogi is out of this world! They also have some decent sushi options and really good prices. I don’t really go here for the sushi — we normally just order a California Roll as an appetizer — but its pretty good.
