Great prices, awesome service! Needed a new catalytic converter put in my car and they got it done super quickly, no problems at all. The next day I noticed my exhaust was making a rattling noise (it had been rattling since I had a new muffler installed by another shop), so I called Mountain Muffler up and they had me bring it in right away, had it up on the rack and fixed in 5 minutes, no hassles and no extra charge. If you’re looking for a great shop with fantastic service and good prices, look no further.

Had a great experience with Gary at the shop On Friday after my ’96 eclipse failed an emissions test. I went to Christopher’s Dodge and Mitsubishi to see what they could do, just to have a base figure. They couldn’t replace the Cat converter without replacing the entire second half of the exhaust. For about $ 850
Larry at CD&M sent me to Mountain Muffler and I stopped and talked with Gary who said he can get two options, both had to be ordered though, which was fine by me. He had the option of scheduling me the next day to get it fixed, unfortunately it didn’t work for me so we settled for Monday for $ 330 installed.

I came here for a second quote after visiting another shop, I went in cold and let him come to his own conclusion, which was the same, but the cost was much lower, and within the reasonable realm of what the work should have cost. Had I received a second quote that was as high as the first one I would have sought out loose parts and installed it myself.
A full tailpipe replacement from behind the exhaust manifold, custom bent and routed out the back of my pickup. The work was done quickly, professionally, and looks fantastic. Gary had a chance to flex his skill and routed it different than the factory which ended up being much cleaner. The choice of muffler was perfect for this V8 and I’d recommend this shop to anyone.

After getting a very high quote from the Toyota dealer i came to Mountain Muffler. 2pm on a Friday afternoon. They inspected the truck and showed me what needed to be replaced. Lucky for me it was just a short length of pipe. They did the repair while I waited. Polite and professional. Highly recommended.

I had a very good experience here, with a catalytic converter replacement. Gary impressed me as a real straight shooter. Good information, good price, and work done promptly. No problems.

I got to say this is the BEST place to go if you need a muffler or anything else that they do. The owner is an awesome guy and will NOT cheat you out of money I wanted a loud flow master put on my 04 ford ranger and he installed one but after driving it for a day it was not loud enough for me and the owner had no issues changing it out for a louder one and he did not even charge me for the change out if I ever get another truck and want the same thing done this is the place I will go and I will tell everyone I know to go to this place for their muffler needs.

Two extremely positive experiences with Mountain Muffler.
Incident 1. Significantly overcommitted my Subaru Impreza off roading to get into a campsite. The crumpled muffler was smashed into the driveline and the car sounded like a jackhammer. Dropped into Mountain Muffler the next morning, they had it fixed within 30 minutes (replaced broken sections and reattached heat shield). Total cost, $ 90. Really friendly guys, to boot.
Incident 2. Occasional, very loud thumping noise at certain engine speeds. Multiple mechanics did not put forth the effort to figure it out, despite it driving my wife nuts (understandably). Dropped in at Mountain Muffler. Gary took the time to really inspect it, identified that the our trailer hitch was too close to the muffler on one side, realigned the muffler on the spot. Tried not to charge me for it. I insisted and he conceded to let me pay his minimum ($ 45). He remedied a year of headache. I’m so grateful.

Had my catalytic converter and oxygen sensor cut out of my truck while parked at a P-​n-​R. Dropped off truck at 9am, ready at 1pm: (more than?) fair price and Gary installed anti-​theft mechanism.

As a woman who knows nothing about cars, I always dread going to auto shops and getting duped. Gary was fabulous… I needed a simple exhaust repair to my little honda and he gave me a free quote in a matter of minutes, and when I expressed I wasn’t quite ready to commit (for all I knew the price seemed a little high) he was not pushy at all and said to give him a call if I was still interested. I got 2 more quotes and Gary and mountain muffler beat both quotes!!! I called him back and he was very accommodating to get me in right away, he had parts on site, and got straight to work. I very much liked that he broke down the quote into parts prices and what labor would be as well as tax so I knew exactly what I would pay when I came back. Overall this is a great little shop and I felt very comfortable with Gary not being a pushy auto guy who normally makes me very anxious. I’ll def come back for any of my muffler needs in the future!

These guys are the best muffler AND auto work guys I have ever dealt with. I brought my ’96 Tacoma in for a muffler. They welded on a new one for pennies on the dollar over the cost of the part. They also saw that my leaf springs were failing. The owner there looked for hours while I was in class to find me the very best possible deal in terms of quality replacement parts. Leaf springs are not a simple job, and these guys got it done by the next day after the parts came, for minimal labor. I have since drove it for a year now with all kinds of heavy loading and use– and it is all still perfect– inspiring me to write this review, and proving to me how good they really are. I recommend them to everyone, and will drive out of my way to get work done here! Thanks Golden Mountain Muffler!
