History

Established in 2012.

Leathers and Lace Rider Resale was founded in 2012 by Tracie Dettmer.

Tracie first learned to ride and bought her first Harley in 2010 and it immediately became a passion for her. Like any new rider, she wanted to wear ‘Harley’ gear but couldn’t afford dealer prices. At that time, she started researching resale and consignment stores for motorcycle apparel and found very little options. A few consignment stores in the metro area would accept and sell motorcycle apparel but none were designated for the motorcyclist of Colorado. The only other options were eBay and Craigslist.

After years of planning, research, collecting merchandise, and being a mobile vendor, Tracie has created a safe, biker friendly environment for motorcycle riders and enthusiasts to buy and sell their leathers, apparel and accessories. We had the Grand opening on May 15^th, 2015!

Tracie is very passionate about motorcycle and also about recycling. She created Leathers and Lace Rider Resale to give consumers a safe environment to buy/​sell their ‘no longer worn’ gear and shoppers the opportunity to try on clothing before purchase. Leathers and Lace Rider Resale is the 1^st and only Consignment shop in the Denver metro area 100% dedicated to motorcyclist.
