In 2005 Hal Sears and Butch Hammett established Automotive Operations Group, which owns and operates tire stores, oil change centers, and car washes in four states. Hal Sears has always had a love for the American automobile and formed a team with Butch Hammett, who shares the fascination of automobiles and has been in the tire and automotive service business since 1968. They have surrounded themselves with highly experienced automotive professionals. Besides our love of the automobile, we wanted to create a company that treats our customers like we would a family member. Hence the creation of Automotive Operations group. In December 2005 we opened our first Tire and Auto Service Center and Grease Monkey in Aurora, Colorado. We have continued to grow rapidly in California, Colorado, and Indiana. In October 2008 we opened our fourteenth location, in Grand Junction, Colorado.

Top notch service when it comes to servicing our vehicles. We only bring them to Grease Monkey now. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because of the car wash. I am not pleased when I pay $ 9 for a car wash and only 2⁄3 of my car actually gets washed. The back left scrubber seems to be broken somehow. My suggestion: skip the car wash and you’ll be happy!

Had to get a much needed oil change today and boy am I glad I stopped in at Grease Monkey. Larry was very helpful and super welcoming. We were offered immediate service with a side of fresh baked cookies and smiles. They ran a diagnostic on my vehicle and were very informative about the actions I should take. I recommend this place for all your oil changing needs! Plus we got a free car wash!

A few years back, I took both of my suvs there for their services. after a yr or so the manger became nasty.
I lived in the area. I have since moved up tp Empire. About a month or so I took in my truck for service and the manger was great. About 2 wks ago took in my suv and the manger said a oil change was about a 2hr wait .I also needed my tires rotated he than said they could not do
was a monday and he did say he was short on guys. He had the bays blocked off.
Driving in from Empire need to I wasted my day off. He did not even say I am sorry.
SORRY WILL NOT BE BACK.

I just had my oil changed here and it was the best place I have ever gone to for an oil change. The employees were extremely help and nice. The waiting room was clean comfortable, and stocked with drinks and cookies. The service was also very fast which was nice. I have nothing but great things to say about this location and would recommend anyone to try out Grease Monkey off S Golden Rd!

Fast and friendly, I don’t feel like they’re ever pushing me for too much here.
One time they noticed something going on in my front end and diagnosed it with a recommendation where to go. It pretty much saved us from getting stranded that weekend before our camping trip and the place they recommended fixed it so fast too!
Always top your fluids, prices are pretty fair and competitive. They offer snacks, pop, and coffee while you wait. A few chairs and a TV are available. It’s close to plenty of shopping or errand running options as well.
We will continue to bring our cars in here!

Best service experience I have had, at any type of business, not just automotive.
I have 15 years of automotive experience, even working as a mechanic at the largest Mercedes dealer in the US. We didn’t come close to the type of service I received today. Super professional, no hard sale, courteous, thorough, and quick. They did the oil change, lubed the chassis, load checked the battery, checked all fluids, cleaned the windshield, checked my lights, and found a burned out tail light that they replaced quickly, for a small charge. They then went over everything they found, every thing they did and touched, last piece was to take me to my truck and show me under the hood that all the caps were tight, and showed me the oil level. All that and I was out in less than 15 minutes. Damn impressed. I’ll never change my own oil again.
I had tried to go to Walmart the previous evening for an oil change, there were 3 cars in the lot, one very slow service adviser, and 3 mechanics standing around not doing much, the wait was an hour and a half, after waiting 10 minutes just to ask someone. I’ll never go back to Walmart for an auto service.

I went to this location to get an oil change not expecting too much as usually when I go to these type of places they are not the greatest. OH MY LANTA! This place was amazing. All of the employees were super friendly and courteous. The tech who worked on my car told me everything that my car was due for but was not pressuring me to purchase anything. They cleaned out my car and gave me a free car wash also. The clerk inside offered me cookies and coffee, tea and soda and the service was outstanding! I was only there about 20 minutes but in that 20 min they made a customer for life!

I typically go to the dealer but the service here has changed my mind. They were great! They explained what they were doing and didn’t try to sell me on anything I didn’t need. It was a little more expensive than I anticipated but worth it. I thought that level of customer service was a thing of the past but not there! They were out of cookies, but I am definitely coming back!!!
