History

Established in 1996.

We bought Foothills Chapel, formerly a Lutheran Church built in 1947 by a Navy shipbuiilder who made it look like Noah’s ark upside down. We have had thousands of weddings, baptisms, and memorial services for people of all faiths since then. Our garden level banquet room has played host to hundreds of receptions, birthday parties, corporate events and more. We pride ourselves on individual attention to every bride, and are now well established as the most popular, affordable and beautiful dream chapel anywhere on the Front Range.

Meet the Manager

Manager

Revs Chris and Karen Mohr have been married since 1983. Chris has performed over 5000 weddings since 1979, and Karen over 600 weddings since 1986. We were once flown to Wales to perform a wedding ceremony together there, and have performed weddings at our chapel, in reception halls, hotels, homes, mountain settings, in a WWI fighter plane, atop a mountain, in a hot air balloon, on the beach, on a ski slope, and other unusual locations. However, some of our outdoor weddings have been interrupted by rain, snow, sleet, hail and even a tornado!
