History

Established in 1990.

Created in 1990 by Steve Sparhawk, DeckTec Outdoor Designs has more than 2000 projects to date. Our philosophy of outdoor living at its finest has established DeckTec as the leader in design, construction, and servicing of deck living environments. DeckTec has been recognized in such national publications as Aqua, Sunset, and Better Homes and Gardens. Locally, we have been featured in The Denver Post, Rocky Mountain News, The Denver Business Journal and numerous community papers. The Denver Business Journal described DeckTec work as creating «adult tree houses» and The Denver Post termed DeckTec’s unique style as «free-​form deck additions.» DeckTec Outdoor Designs Inc. has contributed to nationally distributed idea and how-​to books like «Decks — Dream it.
