Love, love, love this store, HOWEVER I do not love the owner. I went in to purchase a pair of flip flops and they did not have the color I liked at the Gloucester store. The female owner said oh no worries we have that color at the Manchester store and can have them here tomorrow. I thought perfect I can pick them up after work for the weekend. I returned to the store the following day to pick up the shoes. When I told the super nice girl at the register why i was there she said let me get the person you talked to. Over walks the owner who I spoke to 20 hours ago. She looked at me like what the heck do you want. I said oh hi you told me yesterday to come back to pick up the black flip flops. She then says of sorry didn’t get those. I said oh I am kind of disappointed but I understand I’ll come back tomorrow. No sorry no anything from the owner (no surprise there). I went back the following day and talked to the owner for the 3^rd time. She still had not had the flip flops sent to the second store. This time she looked at me and said «I am so tired I went to a concert last night». I could tell because she looked hung over or something maybe she was just tired. I wanted to say listen lady I don’t care I have come to your store three times now and still don’t have my flip flops. I asked the woman if I could leave my number so she or someone could call me when the product arrived. She said yes and assured me that the flip flops would be there by the end of the day. I left and 2 minutes later I got a call from surfari. I knew it wasn’t to tell me the flip flops were in but I was not prepared for this lack of intelligence. The owner called me and started talking about store business. I said I’m sorry I think you have the wrong number and she said is t this the Manchester store. Ummmm NO this is not YOUR store. How do you not know the phone number to the store you own?! When I told her she had the wrong number she told me no she didn’t. My patients at this point were running very thin. The following day I got a call that the flip flops were in. It only took 5 days to send them on a 15 minute ride! I went in paid no discount after returning to the store so many times and dealing with the nasty owner. This experience was so frustrating and annoying. I pride myself on shooing local but I would rather use Amazon than shop her ever again. I think this business owner needs a training in how to treat a customer or just how to be respectful to people in general. Great store great location terrible management.
