We’ve been once before & were craving the Thai peanut pizza, so we went back. Our waitress remembered us & what we had months ago. The Thai peanut pizza is obviously made from scratch with the best quality fresh ingredients. You don’t come by that often. We don’t follow sports, but it’s fun to watch the big screen TVs. Good music too. Relaxed atmosphere but classy. And I like our server. Haley.

Awesome food and atmosphere! The food is not typical bar food! You have to try it! Try the Ham balls!

Stopped tonight with friends, arrived 6:15, waitress got our order for drinks. we got them pretty quick, then ordered our meals. 3 of us ordered salads, 2 small pizzas and one ordered a sandwich with sweet potato fries. at 6:45 the waitress stopped by to see if we needed anything. 2 of us asked for water. At 7 pm we still didn’t have our water, the food still wasn’t there, and we were feeling like we had been totally forgotten. Not sure how that is possible, there were 6 of us. When the waitress (Who seemed very swamped and stressed) stopped back by around 7:05, we told her we ordered 2 waters about 20 minutes ago, we were then done drinking our wine, as we’d been there 50 minutes. And we mentioned we’d been waiting almost an hour by this time. 10 min. later, at 7:15, 2 salads came to our table, then the water, one glass for each of us although only 2 of us wanted it. That was weird. So we thought the rest of the food would come, but it didn’t. 10 min. later the 2 pizzas came. Finally the other salad came and the sandwich with regular fries. We pointed it out to the waitress that told us she’d fix it right away. That was the end of that, we never saw the sweet potato fries.
When our waitress finally came back, she asked how everything was. We told her that it’s not acceptable to wait for our food so long, nor is it right the table has food come out in batches like it did. The entire table should come at the same time. She indicated she is the only ‘seasoned’ waitress in the house tonight. (Not our problem, it’s the store’s issue, fix it) I’ve complained about the wait staff before, the time it takes to get food, the overall lack of training, etc. But it falls on deaf ears.
Prime example of people that aren’t in the restaurant business and are clueless about running one. Don’t realize that they need help, or at least they need to listen to their customers or stand to lose business. We agreed the next time we go as a group, (which will be a lot as we created a bowling league), we’ll go to the other restaurants in town.
Our mexican restaurant is amazing for service, and Doodles is getting there, however, they have their own moments. But Gridiron isn’t gettting any more chances out of us, there seems to be a lack of desire to make sure it runs like a top. The whole time we were in there, the owner stood at a customer table talking to the couple in the booth. She was there for 45 minutes. If the waitress and cook were so busy they couldn’t get customers handled, she should have been pitching in. It’s a great building, done really cool, but that’s where it ends. Nothing else to write home about, don’t bother stopping here.
My husband and I go here often, it’s the same issue each time. The last time we got a pizza, the crust was so overcooked we couldn’t cut it with our forks, and had a hard time biting through it with our teeth. WE took it home and threw it out. It’s just not worthy of any more of our time. Too bad, it’s an awesome building. Now we just need atmosphere, killer food and great service. You know, what most great places have that keep it on the top of their customer’s minds when they go out to eat.

This is just what Glenwood needed. A staple restaurant that serves classic food and is family friendly. In my lifetime, this is the first restaurant in Glenwood that I actually see surviving. The food is good and consistent. I think their food will improve over time as they find their groove. The service can be slow so make sure you have the time to spend eating a long dinner. This is explained by the fact that the restaurant is always very busy because it is the only place in Glenwood that serves this kind of food. I love supporting local businesses and we will continue to return!

The atmosphere is great. Food is basic and overall nothing to rave about. I had a burger that was overlooked. Hopefully they will get more creative with the food. I realize this place is fairly new but if you don’t have the food to match the atmosphere, people will stop coming there.

Excellent food and a warm inviting atmosphere. This is a place you can come enjoy a game, good food, and create some good memories. They have a diverse yet authentic American menu. The ice tea could be stronger, but everyone has there own preference. I will definitely be back!

Great burgers, good salads, friendly staff. Lots of TV’s and good ambience. Glenwood needed a place like this.

Stopped in with my son for a steak. Had the ribeye, which had great taste but was not especially hot when it came out. Potato and vegetables were good, as was the salad. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The place was clean, and was literally buzzing with activity that night. A great place to eat and just hang out!

We ate here the other night. New to the area, my dad saw this place and wanted to try it out. The atmosphere is fun and the staff was fantastic. Almost every staff member who passed our table asked how we were doing. You can tell they put their customers first.
We had tried the «yard sticks» for our appetizers. Oh. My. These were AWESOME! Tons of mozzarella with a light crunchy coating. These are a must try.
For our meal, I had a the Buffalo Bill Burger and my parents both got the Flat Iron Steak. (They were out of the special that day, which we didn’t know until my parents ordered it and the waiter came back a few minutes later with the news. The waiter apologized and comped us our appetizer. Again, very thoughtful of the customer’s experience.) All of our meals were delicious. The burger had the perfect amount of buffalo sauce and blue cheese. I loved it! The fries had a lot of seasoning, which I’m not always a fan of, but they were perfectly cooked. My parents said they really liked their steaks. (I tried a bite, and can confirm they were delicious.) Overall, a good food experience.
The only «con» to this place is the noise. It gets a little loud sometimes. Other than that, I definitely recommend coming here. Again, fantastic staff and good food. We’ll be coming back again (especially for those yard sticks!)

Pretty good food if you could get help. Review I read said wait staff needed help. I couldn’t believe it… that is until I went. Wait staff walked by our table 3 to 4 times with NO acknowledgement. Finally we got someone’s attention. Rule number 1… If you see someone siting at a table… at least say hello… I will go back but expect less than average service.

That was a horrible meal. Service was slow. My hamburger was so tough… Not impressed. The interior is awesome!!!

Food is good. Waitresses and cooks need more training. Seems like I always have an issue when I go. Order meat medium and it comes out rare… send it back. it comes back medium rare. Waitress totally spaces us off and the bartender ends up taking our order. Went in w/​a party of 16… we were there forEVER waiting on food.

Visited during the first month and can’t wait for the full menu. Atmosphere is awesome. Only 20 minutes from Bellevue. Burgers and wings are great. Menu has low cal and low carb options. Can’t wait to go back!

Our table had the onion rings and mozzarella sticks to start with — excellent! The Buffalo Bill sandwich was huge and the guys loved it! The lettuce wrap was simple, but delicious. The Thai pizza was sooo good! Atmosphere is fun and our waiter, Brady, was extremely attentive to us and wonderful. We drove from Omaha to meet friends — we will be back!!!

This is a new bar & grill in Glenwood. The staff needs training in a bad way and the food needs some tweaks but it definitely has potential.
The cheese sticks are phenomenal and are worth a trip here alone. My gf ordered a burger and I chose the blt with egg. The burger really had no flavor at all. The blt was fair but had the same issue — lots of ingredients but nothing stood out — and the bread was horribly dry.
Others in the group had the pork tenderloin, club sandwich, onion rings, etc and I heard no complaints from these folks.
I would try it again — I think it will only get better.

I’ve been so excited to try The Gridiron… and I wasn’t disappointed. You really can taste that the food is homemade with quality ingredients. It’s not a joke when someone says the mozzarella sticks are the size of sticks of butter and boy are they delicious. The menu offers a variety of dietary options, such as low-​carb, low-​fat, and low-​cal. I’m a burger fan so I ordered the Red Zone burger, WOW! So good! I’m looking forward to trying the Thai Peanut Pizza. See you soon, guys! :)
