The Candy Apple Shoppe is a gourmet chocolate shoppe offering a delicious selection of chocolates along with our signature gourmet caramel apples. In addition to our caramel apples and chocolates we offer over 20 different flavors of truffles, sugar free chocolates and a full line of gourmet pretzel sticks dipped in creamy caramel and topped with flavors such as English toffee and peanut butter chips before being drenched in a smooth rich chocolate. The Shoppe also has a nice selection of gift items — the charm of the Shoppe is accentuated by it’s setting on the grounds of the Apple Valley Inn B&B, you may even decide to stay the night at the Inn!

History

Established in 2005.

The Candy Apple Shoppe was started from scratch and the building in which it resides was once the home to a distillery run by the master of the house back in the 1800’s.

The Candy Apple Shoppe was started by Lauren Brophy and Leigh Petroski to provide an added attraction for the guests of the Apple Valley Inn B&B and surrounding community members. Since first opening it has flourished and now sells it’s gourmet caramel apples all across the Continental United States via its online store. in addition, we welcome visitors from destinations far outside the NJ state line and have also captured a firm hold on the wedding market by offering it’s gourmet caramel apples as wedding favors.
