Fun candy and soda store. Lots of different flavors both new and old. Big selection of taffy. And so many different kinds of candies. Unique flavors of many name brands. Cheesecake kitkats, grape Mike and Ike’s, the list could go on and on.
Lots of items that make you feel nostalgic as well. From reprints of old comic books to vintage toys. The also have a life sized ET. Very cool!

This is a cool little store in the Glen. Not sure what struck me more first, all the interesting signs and toys lining the walls… or the eleventy billion (or so) types of soda they had available. Yes, everything from your basic Mountain Dews of the world, up through bacon and ranch dressing. Not entirely sure that all these flavors need to exist… but they have them if you should ever be so daring.
Oh — they also have a wide array of candies as well. Plenty of old favorites, treats from Japan, and other newer treats lie all around the store as well. I saw what a kid in a candy store means in reality today… and my daughter had a blast checking out every square inch of the store too.
Be warned, however… after being sucked into a nostalgic sugar daze… the tab will run up in a hurry on you. Definitely a little on the pricey side. But, it was still a cool store to check out and grab a couple goodies along the way.

After searching the store and finally finding my favorite childhood candy, I was so disappointed the candy bar was old, hard and stale. Not worth the outrageous price or my time searching the store.

Such a cute location for nostalgic candy, pop, and toys! It’s worth stopping in, but you might end up leaving w/​some of your favorite items from back in the day. You can mix and match pop… or…soda…bottles to make up a 6-​pack. They have awesome flavors!
Be prepared to be in there for a while. :)

This brings me back, all the candy from when I was a little guy back for the eating lol. I had so much fun reminiscing that I lost track of time and it helps that it’s next to the theater. You have to come and walk down memory lane. Yes I’m going to come back to the soda pop and candy shop…

I’ve been to the Columbus store, and this is pretty much the same: amazing selection of candy and pop. I’m there for the root beer, of course, and we got a few new ones. For kids and adults, the choices are vast. Plus there are kitschy signs, toys, etc. It ain’t cheap, but since some of it is stuff you can’t get anywhere else buy the common stuff elsewhere and pick up the oddities here. You will find something you love.

As mentioned in other reviews — STALE STALE STALE candy. I’m sure the 100 varieties of sodas are great as it’s difficult for those to go stale but the candy is disgusting. I made the mistake of buying a large bag of stale salt water taffy and I can’t even rate the taffy because it was so stale. Here’s something funny… go towards the front area of store near the window area… you’ll find 2 large jelly frogs, they’re $ 10 a piece. They’ll still be there because the bags are oiled over from age, the frogs look disgusting and no one will ever buy them, but I’m sure they’ll still be there for sale.

There’s a lot of variety at Rocket Fizz, but everything was so expensive. A bag regular sized bag of green tea kit kats was $ 10.75. I could have gone to Chinatown and bought that same bag for about $ 5.00. All of the candies were overpriced.
They have 100 different types of sodas. They had great artistic labels on them and some of them had strange flavors like bacon, cookie dough, etc. Those were $ 3.00/ bottle, so that wasn’t so bad. The bottles were unique.
The setting was cool because they had a lot of big characters like Captain America and Sully from Monster’s Inc. They also had tin signs everywhere along the wall. It’s a good place to buy gag gifts if you don’t mind the prices.

The staff watched as my grand daughter tripped and fell upon entering the store and commented that, «look now you’re all wet».
As I entered I straightened the rug in the entrance as the same staffer watched.
This was our first time visiting, and as you know 5yr. olds have to use the potty as soon as you get somewhere. We were told that there was no restroom, but if Isabella wet herself not to worry they had mops. My daughter in law had to cross the street and come back. I find it really hard to believe there is no restroom. I spent $ 90 and the candy was stale. The prices on candy that is carried in grocery stores is outrageously priced. Over $ 2 for a KitKat bar? Salt water taffy was hard. I had high expectations, and was sorely disappointed. Thought that there would be a bigger selection of old time candy, and yet the were only a few to choose from. Saw the Under Cover Boss segment, and was expecting a much nicer establishment.

I had been in the Rocket Fizz store in Indianapolis before and was thrilled to have one somewhat locally to take my kids to. We stopped in to pick up some fun flavors of soda.
We aren’t brave enough for Ranch Dressing or Bacon flavored soda — but we did go for some Butterscotch, Blue Cream Soda, and Mudpie.
Lots of candy as well — but it’s super pricey. 49-​cents for a tiny gummy candy and well over $ 1.00 for a regular candy bar you can get at the gas station. They do carry plenty of candies from other countries as well, and they tend to be even pricier.
We ignored the candy selection and stuck with the soda as our treat.
Still a fun place to stop in to and check out.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Lot of cool stuff and candy. A crap load of different sodas. Was a little let down that they did not have chewable gobstoppers or runts. Had a fun stop with the family. The 12 year old loves that there was Japanese candy.

VERY cool place directly across from the movie theater. VERY friendly staff, and VERY cool stuff. An eclectic collection of old school candy, niche international candy, mirco sodas and throwback posters/​tins. Everything is for sale. Gimmicky treats and gadgets reign supreme. They even had The Muppet Show on TV. What a fun place! The most notorious item I noticed — bacon cotton candy. I am not much of a candy or soda guy so I grabbed a handful of Squirell Nut Zippers, not the band, although you young kids would do well to try both the candy and the band, both are great.
In the afterglow of my post Rocket Fizz I couldn’t help but wonder what will become of the candy shop across the street next to Ben and Jerry’s, will The Glenn be able to sustain two candy shops across the street from each other? Time will tell, but I don’t thing the Fizz is going anywhere.

I love the store! It has all sorts of funny gags. My son goes there all the time after school. The employees are very nice and kid-​friendly. Their salt-​water taffy tastes great. The environment and music is very nice. It brings me back to when I was young. They have vintage candies to foreign candies. You can find the strangest sounding soda and candy there, that tastes great!

There are not enough words to express how awesome this place is! Rocket Fizz offers the best variety of items. Looking for a place to catch up with old times and get a soda or candy from back in the day or a fun place to go with the family then this is the place for you. Also this place has the best customer service. I recommend for you to come here. You will have a super time.

Two Pull My Finger Fart Pens later and an eye full of gifts that will make you laugh out loud and nostalgic candy, this place had me at the bottle of Martian Poop Soda resting next to the Radioactive Soda… but of course there are the Pile Of Poop pens by the register and the Handerpants underpants for your hands.
Joan Rivers would have loved this place. Laughter makes everything in the world so much better, and this store is guaranteed to put a big smile on your face and make you want to pull out your wallet and buy everything for that crappy dark stressful day. Come holidays, I have no doubt this shop will be slammed. Gag gifts, stocking stuffers, Secret Santa office presents… now you know where to go.
This is a small franchise that started out of California, and each set of owners is independently unique. There is a lovely family that runs this shop, and I couldn’t be happier to support them. Step inside and your eyes will go bonkers (no not from the paparazzi glasses silly), but from every single corner of this space that has something that will make you point and say, «look at that!»
If you love salt water taffy, they have a wall full of it and you can buy it by the pound or bag. Then there is the entire other wall with the Rocket Fizz Soda Shack cooler of ready-​to-​drink sodas of all types.
I could go on and on and on and on about every detail of this store, but it’s better if you just see for yourself.
Run… don’t walk!

This place is awesome! I never would have gone in except that my son wandered in and I followed. I would expect to see a store like this only in the city.
They have a million different kinds of soda, rare nostalgic candies, a unique selection novelty items – many of which I’ve never seen before. Some of the soda flavor highlights: bacon, peanut butter and jelly, ranch dressing??, hot wings. I particularly enjoyed the green apple jalapeño I bought.
