What a nice experience. I was able to get same day service from Mark, the owner. He was very thorough and helped me address miscellaneous issues around the house. He was nice, knowledgeable and am looking forward to follow up visits. Quick Kill definitely lived up to the reviews I have been reading.

Amazing service. Mark came out the same day to resolve a yellow jacket infestation. He was friendly, courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. He answered all of my questions and resolved the issue. I’m glad I found this company and would highly recommend.

We had a wasp problem and they were finding their way into our home. I called them based on Unilocal reviews. The lady who answered was able to tell me exactly what needed to be done. As it turned out, the service manager was in a nearby suburb and was able to come out that same day. He was quick and professional. He provided the service that was described to me on the phone. He was able to find their nest outside and found their access to the inside of our home. From the time he left, we never saw another wasp; inside or out.
I would highly recommend this company. They can take on all pests. And… I mentioned the Unilocal discount and they were happy to honor it.

While doing some construction on our newly purchased home, we discovered that we had an ant infestation. After reading Quick Kill’s Unilocal reviews, we decided to give them a call. They sent out a technician to spray our entire home (inside and out) within 2 hours. The technician, Mike, was very nice and very thorough. We’ll definitely use Quick Kill again in the future if we need to!

So far so good. Very pleased with there customer service, I called on a Wednesday morning and by 2pm someone was at my house. The tech Mike was very professional and walked me through the whole process of removing the yellow jacket wasp nest he found. Its been a few hours since treatment and not one single wasp flying around! I highly recommend them, I think I’ll sign up for there year contract!

Friendly people. Came out a second time for our ant problem and seems to have solved it. They stand behind their warranty.
Also used them for mice. Several visits. But, two months later, the mice were back (even though we closed the openings that were identified to us).

Called Quick Kill at 10:00 a.m., they had a service representative out by 2:00 the same day.
Tim was polite and well spoken. I showed him the hornets nest and Tim explained what it was and exactly how he was going to get rid of the nest. Tim walked the perimeter of the house looking for any other nests. Sprayed the exterior location, removed the nest and said they would come back if we saw any activity.
No yearly contract pitch, just signed and paid for services provided. This was clearly the safest way to handle the situation. I recommend Quick Kill for any pest problem. Tim even took off his shoes before entering the house.

The ants and spiders and other vermin have taken over our home. First I thought that they would just stay in the garage but in one day they made progress to the house and that is where Dave (my husband) picked up the phone and called Quick Kill Exterminating Company.
I am so grateful for their quick response and helping us out in this situation. We had it all; ant trails, flying bugs and billions of ants having ant parties everywhere. They even started hitching rides on my poor dog. Only praises to be said about the great service we received. Their vast knowledge of insects was impressive. I agree with Debra S. ANT WHISPERERS is a great name for this exterminating team. Super professional via phone and while in the field doing the work. Top notch service at a fair price, with none of the «high pressure sales» of some companies. I’m a total bug-​o-​phobe (likely not the scientific name), and new to the area. After my quarterly treatment, had a problem when the weather changed with some spiders in the front of the house. I couldn’t be home for their next day time slot — receptionist put me on hold and told me the tech would be out WITHIN THREE HOURS! I’m pretty sure I couldn’t even get 911 to respond that fast. Because it was within a couple of weeks of my main treatment, he sprayed the problem area AND looked around the entire house and found a couple of other small spider areas — no charge. Just when you think customer service is dead, a company like Quick Kill comes along and restores your faith. I’m a fan, and a customer, for as long as I live in the area.

What a company! A year ago we wanted the house exterminated before we put up the sheetrock in our remodel. The owners son Tim came out, reviewed the job, was willing to work around the construction and went straight to task. Felt like it was a great job for a very fair price.
A year later we called again. Reviewed the needs with Sue and I learn for the exterior barrier application to have full effectiveness, it requires a dry spell for maximum effect. Together we looked at the weather forecast and Sue realized if if wasn’t done today, it wouldn’t be done for over a week and today was booked up … so I took the appointment for next week.
20 minutes later she calls me and says if I’m available, her technician could be at the house in 2 hours. When he showed up he was as courteous and informative as Tim was the year before.
He was thorough, careful and detailed in his application. In the basement, he got into the areas that were hard to access and then into a large crawl space. I was impressed that such a tall guy was able to maneuver around in a short crawl space as easily as he did … that’s experience!
Outside he had more questions, offered a few solutions to the aftercare of the property once an old tree that’s infested with ants gets cut down in a couple weeks … then went about the exterior barrier treatment. I’ve seen this barrier treatment done by others … they pale in comparison! This technician had a high-​powered applicator and was able to get up and into areas no other exterminator had ever done before!
I am very happy with Quick Kill. From the family member owner-​operators to their technicians, this company provides a very thorough service for a more than reasonable price … and a 30 day guarantee! It doesn’t get better than that!

I decided to go with Quick Kill because of the great reviews on Unilocal.I was impressed with John aka the ant whisperer. Instead of just spraying everywhere like the big name companies, Jon spent time observing the ants to see where they were going — the ant highway. Once he figures out where they were coming in from he put some gel there for them to feed on. I am very happy with the attention to detail and will repost in a week with the results.

We recently moved to the suburbs so our dealings with insect invaders is in its infancy. Try as I might to rectify the incursions on my own, I finally broke down and looked for an exterminator after one too many carpenter ants made their way into my kitchen. Not to mention their smaller brethren taking up residence all over our countertops.
My search, of course, started with Unilocal and ended very quickly once I saw the ratings for Quick Kill. I called and spoked to someone about what needed to be done, she talked me through the process and gave me a quote. I thought about it for several minutes, then called back to set an appointment.
I’d been working from home that day, with my family out of town, so it was a great day to have an exterminator come by. It was short notice, but I took a shot — and they absolutely could squeeze me in! Same day — really, who does that?!
The exterminator stopped out on time and chatted me up the entire time he was in my home. Very friendly and knew what he was doing. He treated for carpenter ants and the smaller ones inside; then took to the outdoors to surround my house with a barrier.
Everything took a couple of hours, but that’s just how thorough the treatment was.
Two weeks after treatment, the smaller ants reappeared. I reached out to the exterminator who had come to my home and he stopped out within a day to re-​treat, and since there has not been a problem. I’ve even noticed other dead insects around the outside of my home, and in my basement, so I know the barrier is still working.
As much as you might hate to call an exterminator, you could do far worse than Quick Kill. The process was as painless as possible, and the friendly staff made it even better. I’ll certainly be calling them again should I need to!

Called them about carpenter ants and they came out same day and took care of the issue. Don’t hesitate to call them. Family owned and operated business. Great people and great service. Wish more companies were this pleasant to deal with.

Just had the hired gun from Quick Kill come and hopefully eradicate our Carpenter’s Ant issue yesterday. Called the big guys and they all wanted to lock us in to the initial treatment plus the year of maintenance. Quick Kill offered the option but we went with the one time treatment. Cost more for one treatment but the job seemed very thorough. Plus they have all 5 star Unilocal reviews and great Angie’s list as well. The national brands had very poor reviews. Mark the owner himself came out and handled it 14 hours after the call was placed at 6pm Friday. Don’t try to engage Mark in conversation as he is all business. He is not there to chit chat the insect world but he is focused and works hard. No smell and minimal mess from the tiny holes drilled into the walls to spray the killer dust. So far, we saw one ant that showed up an hour after treatment. We didn’t kill him hoping that he would bring the killer dust back to the nest. It’s been 24 hours without a sighting. Hoping for the best and feeling confident as we were seeing them day and night before the dust settled.

I saw a mouse in our kitchen and called Quick Kill the next day. They were able to squeeze me in for an appointment that afternoon, which was not easy to schedule. I appreciated how understanding and accommodating they were to my desire for them to come out as soon as possible.
Mike met my husband and walked the exterior of our home to identify any entry points and laid bait and traps inside the home where he saw droppings.
One week later Mike returned to check the bait and traps. He walked me through the areas of the home where the mice were eating the bait, as well as the areas where bait was not touched. He reassured me that we did not have a significant issue and that any mice that ate the bait were no longer an issue. He was patient, understanding and compassionate. He helped to aleve my concerns by explaining how to manage the situation. After our meeting, I felt more comfortable with the plan in place to mitigate mice entry in our home.
Our experience was so positive, both customer service and quality of work, that we signed up for the quarterly maintenance program.
I highly recommend Quick Kill. They are responsive, diligent, friendly and care about the customer’s needs. You will not be disappointed.

Last Saturday I discovered a large yellow jacket nest in my attic. I called Quick Kill and left message thinking that they would return my call on Monday. They called me back in about 15 minutes and told me that some one would be at my house in 90 minutes.
Mark was at my house in less then 90 minutes and took care of the problem. He estimated that the nest had between 400 and 500 yellow jackets in it.
I would highly recommend them to anyone with a pest problem.

We had a persistent problem with some bees in a crack in the bricks near the back door of our house. We pumped a couple of cans of stuff we got at home depot and still the buggers kept flying in and out just like the planes at O’Hare!
Enough was enough, my wife called Quick Kill, and they asked if any one was allergic to bees, my wife is so they came pretty much immediately!. Jon was great, he was here for about 30 minutes, and we haven’t seen a bee since!
