Pure Pour Concrete & Masonry

I only wish I had read these reviews before I hired this company. Chris Cieslak was recommended to me by my garden service people and I trusted their recommendation implicitly. I enlisted Chris and his «team» to do some relaying of stonework that also entailed removal of some concrete slabs. Chris recommended power-​washing our patio and we agreed to have him do this work. That’s as far as he got. I began to become suspicious when he asked for me to make out the 50% deposit to him personally, something I stupidly complied with. After the check was deposited, he disappeared and stopped returning calls.
My gardener tried to track him down after attempting to get in touch with him by phone and he’d moved from his previous residence. Relatives refused to provide his current address.
So the bottom line is, the guy is a total con artist and his company is a sham. DO NOT hire him or you will be left holding the bag just like every other poor sucker here who has written a review.

Appalled by Chris’s lack of professionalism and commitment. We prepaid him $ 1,000 to finish a job on the current location and start a job on a new location. However, after payment CHRIS STOLE OUR MONEY, never came back and never answered ANY of our attempts to contact him. He is a crook and will steal your money too.

ZERO stars. Absolutely appalled by the way Chris does business. NO follow through, empty promises and a complete lack of professionalism.
I have contacted my lawyers to handle this matter and have put in a complaint against him with the better business bureau, contacted several media outlets and am filing a complaint with the State of Illinois. NO sense of urgency.
My mother and Father have been without a driveway for over a year and their A/​C was suspended form when they tore up the driveway. it is now July 2015 when they started work in Summer 2014 and our driveway is still in the same condition it was in Sept 2014.
A/​C is still suspended in air and Chris has done NOTHING to mediate the situation, leaving my parents and my son who they watch, without a/​c. this is now posing a health risk and I will be seeking legal advice on this matter as well since my son and father have been feeling ill.
DO NOT USE THEM. I will continue to update the status on this until this is mediated. I would have pulled out a LONG time ago had my mom not given him the money to buy the cement to lay down. check was cashed in Sept 2014!

Update: we never expected to hear from them again and they didn’t disappoint, zero stars

Too bad there was no option for zero stars. Nice enough on the phone but didn’t show up for the appointment. No call. Nothing. Good luck Chris!
