We specialize in hardwood floor installation and refinishing. We take pride in our «dustless» system, and only use the finest materials when working on your floors. We began our business in Glenview, IL, but we service Chicago and all of the surrounding suburbs. We also offer general contractor services through our parent company, Plus Building, Inc.

History

Established in 1992.

Father and Son owned and operated business, Plus Building Inc was formed by Lester Dymora in 1992 as a full service General Contracting Company. However, we now mainly specialize in Hardwood Floor Installation and Refinishing.

I grew up in the Chicago area, so it only seemed fitting to give back to the community that gave me so much. I am a graduate of Maine East Township Highschool, and I am currently a resident of Glenview, Illinois.

I take my work seriously. I see it as an extension of myself, so I strive to make a great impression with my floors. I know refinishing a floor or installing a new one can be a large expense for the typical family, so I want to make the process as stress-​free and professional as possible. I just got a new place in Northbrook a few months ago, as excited as I was about purchasing my first condo the floors were a complete disaster. Patrick was able to give me an accurate price over email and came out to do the work within 2 weeks! Needless to say the floors came out great. I went with a Dark Walnut Stain and the water-​based finish option. Thanks Patrick! I will definitely be recommending him to all my friends & co-​workers.

Excelent!
After I just got my first new home in Glenview, the movers that took out the old owners furniture scratched the floor up pretty bad. I had Patrick and his father come in for an estimate because of all the good reviews I saw online. As expected, they performed the work very quickly and cleanly and did a fantastic job. Best choice I made yet! Looking forward to more projects.

Patrick was very quick to call me back after I left a message. He came out a few days later to price my floor and even though his price came in a little bit higher than expected, I liked the fact that he had such positive reviews. After the work was completed I was very happy I ended up choosing him, he did all of the work by himself with the help of one other worker who looked his age, both did great work!

I called Patrick because my Brazilian Cherry floors had faded over the years and had been pretty beat up by my kids and their toys. He got back to me very promptly and was out the next day to give a estimate and explain his dustless process in great detail. He got me on his calendar and he himself was at my house within a week and actually finished the job ahead of schedule and it was meticulous. I went over the floor plank by plank all the way to the trim and found ZERO flaws, and he wasn’t exaggerating when he said dustless which was super important to me since my son has bad allergies. Overall it was one of the best home improvement/​repair experiences I’ve ever had. I wish Patrick did more than just floors because I would hire him for a dozen other things that I’ve done in and out of my house over the years.

Patrick was very quick to respond when I called. I told him exactly what I need to get done and he gave me an estimate right over the phone. We set up a date right away, he came the following week and refinished the floors with a natural look restoring it back to how they looked when I bought the house. Very pleased with the service and how the floors turned out. I would definitely use and recommend Patrick to anyone that needs to refinish they’re floors. If I was able to give him 10 stars I would!

Patrick and his team came out and resurfaced the wood floor my Pops laid down himself 15 years ago. Abuse from cats, dogs, furniture, made it look in poor shape.
They were very professional from start to finish, and the estimate was far below what I was expecting. Why hurt your back, elbows and knees when a professional can do it that has the experience and team? Thanks Patrick and Co!

All the other reviews pretty much covered it, had pat come out for an estimate and he was a bit young so I wasn’t sure whether to take him for the job but I’m glad I did. He did a great job and happily explained all of the steps along the way, definitely would use him a million times over again.

Patrick was very quick to come give me an estimate over the phone. I have a hectic work schedule and he made sure to work around it for me. The main thing I was looking for was dustless sanding equipment which he had. Once the job began I was delighted to know he actually also did the work himself with the help of a worker, which is hard to find these days. Having him do my estimate and the actual work was comforting. Unlike other places where the staff doing install don’t always know exactly what you want, he knew exactly. No misunderstandings. They did a great job staining and refinishing my floors, highly recommended! Worth every dollar! Professional personality as well. Positive experience all around. Wow what an amazing service! This company is really amazing and professional all for a great price and when I mean a great price i mean a GREAT price! They refinished my whole place very quickly and productively. The equipment they used was dustless and after they were finished it didnt take much to clean up my home. i called Plus Building to resurface the floor in my home office. Patrick came and did a very thorough job of inspecting the scratched hardwood as well as the steps they take to resurface hardwood floors. I was astonished that the job was done with in a few days.
