I had a horrible experience with this company. The owner and contractor, Ron Nanberg, used one person, a jack-​of-​all-​trades, master-​of-​none, do all the work for my complete renovation which resulted in nothing but problems and heartache. He was supposed to hire subs but instead chose to use one person to do what a plumber, an electrician, a tile person, a floor person, a door person, etc. etc., should have done because they’re experts in the field. Instead, he hired one person who doesn’t know how to do anything correctly to do ALL of the work, paid him next to nothing and pocketed all the money. He took complete and total advantage of me.
Ron NEVER came to inspect the work being done, all of which was sub-​par and completely unacceptable. I replaced literally everything in my home, and everything was damaged by Ron and his workmen upon installation. Every custom-​made cabinet is damaged, every brand new door, the new grout is turning orange in the bathroom, gaping holes were left in the drywall, the under-​cabinet lights don’t work, light fixtures were installed with missing light bulbs and sockets that didn’t work, the first time I used my garbage disposal it completely flooded the underneath of my brand new cabinets and my newly stained wood floor, the wrong faucet was installed in my bathroom THREE times which left a huge scratch in my white carerra marble countertop, every brand new door was damaged (I replaced all doors in my home), and the list goes on and on and on.
I work full time and didn’t live in my home during the renovation which meant I couldn’t be there to babysit every day. Brand new electronics equipment was left out in the middle of the floor, uncovered, while Ron’s lackies ripped everything out around it — drywall, cabinets, built-​in furniture, etc., so I had to pay to have the equipment cleaned, tested and repaired. Common sense would tell a person to move the equipment but Ron and his people don’t have any common sense nor do they care. They make things look ok from far away but once you look closer you see all the damage and incorrect installation and then you realize that NOTHING WORKS.
It took 8 months to complete the renovation and it cost me a small fortune, and now I’m paying ANOTHER fortune to have all of Ron’s work undone and redone correctly. It took the plumber three hours to fix the garbage disposal alone — this doesn’t even scratch the surface of all the shoddy, sub-​standard work Ron did in my home and I’m STILL getting it all fixed. It’s completely inconvenient to have to take time off from work to deal with this, not to mention the fact that I’m paying for this all over again. Because I tore everything out and started over, everything should have been perfect when I moved in after 8 months of work. But, instead, I’m going through it all over again and hiring different trades to come in and fix everything Ron and his «workmen» did. STAY AWAY.

I did a complete, TOTAL renovation of my condo and tore out EVERYTHING and started over. Ron’s installation resulted in every single brand new thing that was installed going in damaged. He used one guy to install, do the electrical, do the plumbing, install the cabinets, etc., instead of hiring subs as he was supposed to do. Everything was brand new and fine until his guys brought it in and did such a poor installation that they damaged everything. They also installed everything incorrectly so that I am now paying to fix everything after I spent a LOT of money — it was a small fortune — with Ron.
What I’m going to say here doesn’t even scratch the surface of just how bad my experience was and I wish I could post all my photos of all the horrible, sub-​par work that was done so that everyone would stay away and not get completely taken advantage of and have to go through the nightmare I’ve been through.
Here is just a smattering of the sub-​par work that was done in my condo:
1. The first time I used my garbage disposal after moving in, it flooded the entire underneath of my brand new kitchen cabinets as well as my brand new kitchen floor with food and dirty, disgusting water. I had to hire and PAY a plumber to fix it and he spent THREE HOURS completely redoing and fixing Ron’s sub-​standard work. Because Ron didn’t hire a plumber and instead had Dragan, his jack-​of-​all trades, master of none, perform the installation it was all installed incorrectly so I paid for it twice.
2. Ron installed a disgusting, rotted pipe that he left sticking out of the wall in my master bathroom that connected to the toilet. Keep in mind that EVERYTHING was brand new — the toilet, the tile, the cabinets, the paint — everything, and he decided that a rotted, disgusting pipe sticking out of the wall was acceptable. Or, he never saw it. Either way it’s despicable.
3. Ron left a completely exposed, unfinished outlet in my closet. This could have caused an electrical fire and, additionally, it’s unacceptable and I had to hire and PAY an electrician to fix it. I was fearful of an electrical fire and a flood because you just don’t leave exposed wires, pipes sticking out of toilets, etc., but I guess Ron figured I’d never see it or, more likely, he just didn’t care.
4. Ron sent the MOST HORRIBLE floor people to my house to do my floors and I literally had to pay to have the wood floors completely redone. The floor people also got floor stain all over my brand new tile so I then had to PAY to have the tile people come in and try to clean the floor stain off the brand new tile, cabinets and furniture.
5. The floor guy (Adrian Flooring — STAY AWAY) he sent was incredibly rude, lazy, unprofessional and sub-​standard as well. He argued with me over what color stain to do my floor, he wouldn’t show me darker samples, and he did a HORRIBLE job. After the fact, Ron told me that the floor people were terrible and that he wasn’t using them anymore. This was of course AFTER I went through a horrible experience with them and then had to PAY to have the entire floor redone because they stained my tile, my cabinets, and pretty much got stain everywhere except on the floor.
6. Ron left a huge, gaping hole in my drywall underneath the cabinets over my sink in my kitchen. I guess he thought I’d never look under there. I had to PAY someone to come and fix this.
7. Ron installed the wrong faucet in my guest bathroom THREE times in a row and then proceeded to tell me that the correct faucet was back-​ordered for almost a year. I googled the correct faucet and was able to find and purchase it immediately online. The incorrect faucet installation resulted in the wrong faucet leaving a mark on my brand new granite counter top. It ALSO resulted in me having to a) order the correct faucet myself, b) hire and PAY a plumber to install it, and c) hire someone to fix the scratch in my BRAND NEW granite.
8. I stupidly hired Ron’s tile person, JESUS SANCHEZ, to fix the scratch and he turned out to be just as dishonest and despicable as Ron and Dragan and the rest of Ron’s people. JESUS came to fix the scratch and told me it was fixed. I looked and didn’t see the scratch anymore, but a few weeks later I realized the drain was not working in that sink so I had to call and PAY a plumber to fix it. What my plumber discovered is that Jesus did not fix the scratch as I paid him to do but he instead moved the faucet to cover the scratch. This resulted in the drain not working because the faucet was not in the correct position. I therefore had to PAY a plumber to fix the faucet and now I have to pay someone else to fix what Jesus lied and said he fixed (the scratch in the brand new granite left by Ron installing the wrong faucet three times). Ron, Dragan, Jesus, Ron’s floor people and everyone I dealt with from Ron was dishonest, sub-​par and despicable.
