I’ve had a bad experience with IBJI in Morton Grove, but I hurt my hand and needed to see a doctor on a Saturday. Illinois Bone and Joint Institute advertises an OrthoAccess immediate care center that DOESNOT require an appointment is open on Saturdays. I thought this was marvelous so my husband and I drove a long way to get to the center in Glenview. We walked in and waited about 10 – 15 minutes for anyone to come to the receptionist desk as it was unmanned. The receptionist finally came in, took care of the person in front of us(she was clearly unhappy to help her or anyone). After waiting we told her about my hand injury and she borderline rude said they weren’t taking any more patients. If you’re going to spend so much in marketing, the least you can do is stop the false advertisements and either require appointments or state you take walk ins until a certain time or that you don’t honor your ads and may turn away patients, even if in pain.

The staff were extremely unprofessional on the phone and were clearly not interested in my business. Luckily I was able to find another location to get my necessary testing that had really professional and kind staff. I wonder why this business has such poor staff? Do they not have any training or supervision? Avoid if you can, take your order to another place instead, you have the choice to go where ever you please usually.
