Established in 2013.

Cooper’s Story: My name is Cooper. I am 7 years old & was rescued from a kill shelter. Actually, I rescued my Mom! Mommy’s last dog died in her arms at home. Dad drove her to all the shelters in the area for weeks until she came to me. Our eyes met and it was love at first sight.

While on vacation, Mom bought lots of Chicken Jerky that she thought was safe for me & packed it in her carry-​on luggage. She thought TSA would stop her for trafficking. About to give me some jerky the next day, she saw «Made in China» on the label. What? These are hazardous to my health! But my Mom would do anything for me, even cook, so we researched how to naturally make Jerky. OMG, I love R & D! (So much jerky, so little time.) So did my doggy friends. Everyone encouraged us to open our own business since they also couldn’t find an all-​natural product. Currently, we sell thru our website, are in over 60 stores, and are steadily growing.

From Dental Hygienist to entrepreneur. I personally manufacture All Natural Grain Free Jerky Treats for Pets. I began the business 10 – 2012 after a prolonged and futile search for quality jerky with nothing added. Cooper’s Way is USA (Glenview, IL) made & sourced. I use fresh, never frozen restaurant quality poultry, meat. All our products are free of additives, preservatives & chemicals.

Since I have been a volunteer at our local animal shelter for over 15 years, I donate all our food trimmings and any jerky overruns so nothing goes to waste.
