If you are looking for a place to take your car where you will be charged fair prices for the repair, this is the place for you. I was lucky that a co-​worker recommended this place to me when my car kept stalling on me. I kept taking it in to another repair facility and they were never able to diagnose the problem. Once I brought the car to Steve he immediately diagnosed a faulty fuel pump and replaced it. The car has been running great ever since.
I also recently took my Audi to the dealership to get an oil change and they found that my brake lights had burned out. I didn’t think it would be that much to replace them but when I asked for a price, I was shocked to hear they would charge me $ 160 to replace two small light bulbs. Insane! So instead I brought the car to Steve and in less than 5 minutes he had replaced the bulbs for ¹⁄₅^th the price. Yeah!
So bottom line, if you enjoy throwing your money away go elsewhere but if you want an honest repair job then bring your car to Steve.

Steve and his staff are great. We’ve been taking our 2005 Volvo XC90 and our 2001 Acura TL to him for years. His service is quick, prices are reasonable, and he stands by his work. On top of that, it’s walking distance from our house and the Glenview train station which makes it easy to drop the cars off before work or retrieve them after work.

When I was an accountant, I helped prepare their records … you can really tell how ‘legit’ & fair people are by seeing how they run their business. Steve is conveniently open on Saturdays and his shop is one of the few I’ve been to who have been able to service my 1993 car. He owns a bunch of older cars & bikes himself, so he knows how to service many different models & get your car running.
