History
Established in 2000.
Artifex Studio was born in the basement of Elisa R. Boughners family home. Once her children were old enough to be going to school full time she wanted to broaden her horizons and open an art gallery to display her work within and to expand upon that work.

Business Owner
Elisa R. Boughner has been creating artwork her entire life. She gained an expressive eye and a flair for color while growing up in Mexico. She has her BFA in Printmaking and her MFA in Drawing and Painting from Northern Illinois University. Her works have been collected nation wide as well as throughout the world.
