Lily of the Valley Cupcakery

The cupcakes are good and the owner is a very nice woman. I’ve been twice with no complaints.

Very impressive cupcakes. Tried the pistachio and the sweet potato and they were both outstanding. Cake was moist with good density. Sweet potato filling was good. The pistachio cake had dried cranberries which was a delightful combination.

Went here today on a
coupon. At first when I saw the place I wasn’t terribly impressed — seemed like a really small place that didn’t look too done up — no where to sit, no coffee, etc. But — then I walked in. Not only was the atmosphere SUPER friendly (the man and woman who worked there went out of their way to make you feel welcome) — but the cupcakes were just to die for. We ended up getting 8 cupcakes and a muffin. All of them were just unbelievably good (moist, great flavors, frosting is very good but not TOO sweet, very very fresh!!)
We came early (around 11:30am) so they didn’t have a ton of their cupcakes ready yet, but they had enough flavors out so that we were happy. I would say to come later in the day when they have more flavors baked and frosted. All the cupcakes in the store were baked that day.
Will definitely be back for more!

Lily of the Valley Cupcakery is an incredible place to get a cupcake or 12… They are addictive and they come up with very interesting flavors that I would never have thought of. They make everything themselves and the quality is always consistant. Hard to pick a favorite, but I will definitely make an effort to try them all. Keep up the good work.

Probably drove by it 100 times and never saw it. Found it when I walked by. I had the lemon berry cupcake and the banana waffle cupcake. Both were awesome! The young man that runs the store is very nice and helpful. Only downside is choosing which cupcake to get as they have some awesome varieties. Love supporting a family business and hope they stay in Glenside.

This cupcakes are so good that strawberry shortcake I was lickin the paper. And my husband had the banana pudding cupcake and he said that one was delicious. But I really wanna try that chicken and waffle cupcake. I talk to the owner when I was their and he said they just make them on certain days, if you want a certain cupcake you have to call a day before to see if he would make the cupcakes because everyday they sale different cupcake so you can have a change to try them all. A very nice place and clean. But when I get there they was almost sold out of every cupcakes. So I brought four of them. And I mad because I shouldh’ve brought a six pack of the cupcakes and they are reasonable in price. I will be back real soon. Thanks to My Family member (Yolanda) for this cupcake Shop little secret!!! And its real far from my house but if I want a good cupcakes and different variety I’ll take the drive.

Went to this place last night to pick up cupcakes for friends. Vanilla and chocolate cupcakes were dry. Strawberry cupcake was moist but frosting was super sweet with a weird aftertaste. Pricing is okay at 2.75 a cupcake/​3.00 for some with fresh fruit. Didn’t have a lot of selections, just 6 different flavors. Overall, not bad but could improve.

I pass it on the way home everyday and decided to give it a try, and let me tell you I’m glad I did. The exterior is colorful and inviting and the interior is really cute. There is no place to sit and eat, it’s more of a grab and go place. Anyway hands down the cupcakes are phenomenal! From the rich cake batter to the sweet, smooth icing, everything Rashida (owner and baker) puts on that cupcake makes sense and is absolutely delicious. My recommendation is to definitely try the Chicken and Waffles cupcake. So good! Just go!

I’m excited to be the first one to review this new cupcake shop in Glenside! I drove past here last week and saw the sign and thought… a cupcakery… in Glenside… dangerously close to my home?!
So I stopped in. The cupcakes are delicious. I tend to try cupcakes wherever I go and there’s something about these cupcakes that makes me want to come back for more. So far I’ve sampled the Very Vanilla (the frosting melts in your mouth), Toasted Pineapple Coconut (fresh pineapple on top), the Salted Carmel, and the Chocolate + Vanilla.
It’s in a very unassuming shop on a stretch of Limekiln Pike. It’s very easy to miss. It’s a small place that just sells cupcakes. I hope this business does well as I’ve enjoyed myself every time I’ve stopped by. While it doesn’t win the award of the best cupcake I’ve ever had, it’s definitely the best cupcake this area of MontCo, hands down!
