TERRIBLE! I came out of the car wash to find an 8″ crack in my windshield. I spoke with the manager and he just insisted the damage was there beforehand. I don’t see how that’s possible. It’s an 8″ crack starting at the top of my windshield directly in front of the driver’s seat. It most definitely was not there before.

I like this car wash a lot – it offers a $ 3 option (one of the few I’ve found in the area) and the vacuums are free. I’ve only used the car wash stalls, which are pretty standard.
A word of caution on the credit card option: The minimum charge is $ 5 (no $ 3 option with a card). It tells you to make sure you press «stop» when you’re finished or you’ll be charged the full amount of $ 15. I very carefully pressed what I thought was the right button, only to discover when checking my credit card bill that I had been charged $ 15. I’ll stick to cash in the future; don’t be afraid to ask an attendant if you’re not sure.

Not inexpensive at $ 84 to detail the interior of a small Jeep Wrangler but we’re pleased with the results. Having had a bad experience at another local detail shop who gave my wife serious grief about how dirty the interior of her car was (what, we’re supposed to clean it before bringing it to you?!), took longer than promised and charged more than originally quoted, Clean Machine was a pleasant change. We dropped the car off at 7am, paid with a gift card and was called around 2pm telling me that it was done. They did a very good job, not perfect but considering the car is 10 years old and we have a yellow lab whose hair litterally gets weaved into the carpet we are very happy with the job they did. Carpets were all cleaned, dry and vacuumed. I would say they got 95% if not more of the dog hair out and my wife wondered if she had the right car after getting back into it — it was so much cleaner than before. No additional fees, no complaints, no bad attitude from them. Worth the splurge once and a while. We’ll be back.
By the way, the drive-​through car wash is a good value at $ 9 for the basic wash. They hand wash the wheels and the dry the exterior.

I had often visited this location and love the hand-​wash stations. I finally noticed the automated car wash. I tried it and LOVED it! The service there is always great and they make you feel right at home. My suggestion? GO!!!

The owner is absolutely nuts! I went today to the self wash and when I was done, the owner flipped out on me for not putting back the hoses back where they belong. All I did was pull my car up and I was outside of my car. My floor matts where still hanging in in the self wash location in the dedicated location. He automatically assumed that I wasnt coming back in the self wash to clean up after myself. I told him that I had full intention of cleaning up and showed him my matts were still hanging! He took my the mats and threw them out in the parking lot while yelling and cursing at me to never come back. I thought the guy was going to attack me. No joke… I can understand him being upset if a customer doesn’t clean up after themselves but I even showed him that my matts were still hanging and told him that I had full intention of cleaning up. He came to an assumption and completely flipped out. F#ck that place!

If you want a quick removal of surface dirt go for it. I had my car washed with their «hot wax» option. Spent $ 20 only to find my front window still dirty. I mentioned this to the individuals drying and I was told I had to ask them to power spray my truck before going through the car wash (which was done). One of the attendants says if I had a problem I needed to go around and through again.
I then called and was told that they should have prepped my truck better and that they only do rewashes the same day. I informed the attendant and the individual over the phone that I was not asking for a rewash and did not have the time to sit in line to have it done again.
Since then I received an email from the owner challenging me to come in for a rewash on a subsequent day. He informed me that he doesn’t know of a car wash that would offer that and that he didn’t understand why I didn’t just go back through the car wash. I won’t harp on the sarcastic undertone of his email but suffice to say I was surprised I was hearing from the owner.
Allow me to elaborate. I informed the gentlemen I spoke to on the phone that I was on my way to an event and did not have time to go through the line to get my truck washed again. Furthermore, while other car washes may not offer rewashes after the same day, I have honestly not had a need for a rewash on my vehicle. Lastly, as the manager of a business, one cannot express appreciation for feedback and then through sarcasm and a challenging demeanor attempt to offer rebuttals for the feedback.
The root of my concern was (per my phone call) informing you that my car was still dirty and to express my concern over the attitude and demeanor of one of your employees. That’s it. I did not want a rewash but simply assurance that in the future you would try to do better.
I will refrain from recommending another business as I do not want my review removed as it was before. Suffice it to say I will respectfully decline the sarcastic offer to rewash my truck and will continue to go to a different location for car wash services.

Be careful using the self car wash here when you run your card the machine does not start right away which leads you to believe no purchase was made. So I swiped my card again then it finally took and started. Two days later there was a $ 10 charge that I use to wash my car plus the $ 5 charge that didn’t take. This happened to me on two different occasions after the second time I went and talked to the owner about it they basically told me to go fly a kite they were rude and could have cared less. So needless to say I won’t be back be very careful going here.

I have to say, it’s my first time getting my car detailed and I’m absolutely thrilled with the results! I got it as a gift for my birthday in the form of a groupon and I didn’t know what to expect. Booking online was super easy. The employees were friendly and very flexible allowing me to leave my car overnight and let me pick it up the following day after 6pm. My Rav 4 has never looked so good!!! They did an awesome job, and I will definitely be coming back! They also have a cool cigar shop which is definitely another reason to return :)

I’ve been meaning to update this review. After my posting I was contacted by the owner who wanted to correct his employees mistake. Given I didn’t have time to sit through another detailing I was offered a refund which I gladly accepted. I’ll still be cautious about taking advantage of any future Groupon deals.

Not only did I have the worst detail job in history, but the owner and the man who performed the detail were so Nasty and Rude to me I would NEVER return. I have never been treated so horribly by an establishment in my life. They yelled at me and argued with me over the job that they didn’t perform well.
Their detail man self proclaimed as «the best in the area» claims he didn’t know the back seat had a cup holder that pulled down. Really? and he’s been detailing cars for 25 years and yet that feature on my 2008 car was news to him.
I left this place frustrated and in tears. If they had 0 stars that’s what I would rate it. It doesn’t deserve 1 star.

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would! They did an amazing job on my car! I have 2 dogs who shed like crazy so getting all of that hair out was quite the job! The price was great as well! Super friendly staff! I will be recommending them to everyone!

I really enjoy this car wash. The employees are so nice, and my car always comes out looking awesome! I’ve never had any issues, so I think I found my permanent car wash!

What can I say? It’s a car wash. But it is always fully stocked… the brushes are clean in the DIY area and There’s rarely a wait. So it’s a GOOD car wash. I have, as of yet, not lost any money in the changer either! Head on over.

I no longer feel ashamed of my car’s exterior or interior. Outstanding job of cleaning, even my wife can’t complain.

Maybe I’m simple-​minded, but this car wash was a little confusing. There are four basic washes (unless you want to do it yourself– they have bays for that, too). But between multi-​wash discounts, club packs, and adding things on a la carte, it was a little overwhelming. I used the Unilocal check-​in offer to get the «ultimate» wash for just $ 10. I’ll probably return for the «super» wash and pay the same price — just no Armor All.
They scrub your tires, you pay at the window — where they also sell cigars and lottery tickets! — and then you get to ride through the car wash tunnel. It’s kind of fun. When you get out the other side, they blowdry your car and get the water out from the mirrors with air guns, then wipe the rest dry by hand.
These extras earn 5 stars in my book.

Clean Machine does a good job cleaning my car with no scratches to the paint and fast hand dry service. If you’re located near the Glenside train station as I am, the location is very convenient.
The regular prices are so-​so, but they do frequent Groupons with great deals and offer discounts and freebies to customers who sign up for their email offers.

I really liked this place– I did not get a full detail, but after the fancy wash, with interior vacuum and windows, etc, the mini-​van was looking really great! I found the staff friendly and polite and fast. I went during the week.

Nicer than the other car washes I’ve been to in that the initial spray-​down is done by hand (right after they scrub-​brush the wheels) and the dryers at the end are air dryers that don’t touch your car (the one I typically use has these drop-​down air dryers that have hard rollers that go along your hood, up the windshield, etc. and I don’t like that). I did the $ 15 wash, which seemed to be a reasonable value.
It was a Sunday and they said they were too busy to do the $ 5 add-​on interior vacuuming and that I should come back during the week. But I ended up doing it myself for $ 1 at their self-​serve vacuum station, which actually allowed me plenty of time to vacuum the whole interior including the boot (be sure you get everything all ready before you drop in those quarters!).

Come here if you want to wash your car at home after.
I drove my car cross country and needless to say it needed to be cleaned BAD! I asked about the packages and the guy rudely said «read the sign» wow ok. I got the $ 12 package. They didn’t tell me to put it in neutral, my bad there was a sign but I never get my car washed. This scum bag kid that sprays the car smacks the back of my car HARD and yells «neutral» so I quickly put it in neutral and think about hit the guy in the face as hard as he hit my car. I pull out to the drying guys and I roll down my window. «Is the front clean?» Drying guy, «roll the window up if you want it dry «OK so I Didn’t roll it for a tip so I caught the other guy give me the middle finger. Thanks! I get home and the car is still dirty!!!
Classy place! My fault for not seeing the sign but seriously this place sucks. I wish I could give it a zero.

I live in the burbs. I park under a big old oak tree. And my sweet little car is constantly getting bird bombed. Yuck.
Since I was camped out in a local coffee shop today I decided to stop by the car wash on the way home and clean Jellybean up (yes, I named my car. What, you don’t?). Unfortunately, I had 2 cups of coffee while I was at Elcy’s (read the review!) and really, really had to pee. Normally the ride home isn’t that long, and because of many nights spent drinking beer in dive bars, I have what just might be the world’s strongest bladder. However, there is nothing that prepares you for sitting inside your car as it rolls through a car wash to test just how strong a bladder really is.
You’ll be pleased to know I didn’t wet my pants. And now my car glistens. I got the $ 15 option — worth every penny — and the guy who wipes it off at the end was really nice. You can also get your car fully detailed or self-​vacuum it if you’re inspired.
I give it 2 hours until mine is covered in bird poop again.
