I have eaten here 3 or 4 times since they have been open and have been very pleased each and every time! Great sushi. and very fresh. The rolls are very tasty! I have tried other restaurants in the area and have experienced some odd tastes when it comes to the fish quality. Even better than some sushi I’ve had in Saratoga. Very fast service. Parking is in the back. Very friendly service. Highly recommend!

The best Chinese food we’ve found nearby — an actual eat-in Chinese restaurant in the area! The food was fantastic(we had a mixture of sushi and Chinese food, all of which was great!), and the service was authentically friendly(Ping was awesome). They are on the verge of getting their adult bev license, so stay tuned on that. Check them out! Let’s help make these folks a success! We will be regulars, for sure!

Sushi was just ok and the service was really not great. There was also a large group of very loud and obnoxious patrons there while we were eating and they were very disruptive and really destroyed the experience. Clearly they were friends of the owners/staff so we didn’t feel comfortable complaining. We likely won’t return. I much prefer the sushi and service at Aroy Dee or Mikado.

I was really disappointed that they charge extra for everything without mentioning it. Told me the chicken was already all white meat but then add an $ 2.00 up charge when I requested it. Said I could get replace the white rice that came with my chicken with fried rice. Instead of charging me an up charge they billed me for a large individual order. The«white chicken» was anything but it resembled a chewy chicken grizzle. The only positive was the avocado salad.

Just ate at Zou for the first time, pass by it every day and it’s always empty. Me and my girlfriend were the only ones in the place eating and the service was great. The miso soup wasn’t overly salty and the house salad was fresh and delicious. I had the teriyaki entrée which was spectacular and reasonably priced. Total cost for 2 with appetizer and drinks was $ 40 with tip. I plan on coming back in the following weeks to enjoy another meal rather than take my chances on another place in town like mikado. 9⁄10

A great new find ! The Shrimp Shumai and Spring Rolls were delicious ! Followed by great Hot and Sour Soup that was spicy yet very complex in flavor. I had the Mongolian Beef and my friend Judy ordered the Orange Peel Chicken. Both were spicy but not over the top hot. We will be back there next Sunday with friends when I plan on trying some of the rolls. Overall this is a great new spot with lovely décor and exceptional service !

I had been driving by this place on Bay for weeks, and finally decided to stop in and try it last night with the BF. What a great little restaurant! The inside is newly remodeled and looks fresh and clean. Tablecloths with glass tops, real exposed barn beams, and hardwood floors give it a minimalist but cozy feel. The food was outstanding. As good if not better than other sushi places in Glens Falls and Saratoga(we’ve tried them all). We started with the«Super Bowl» app; diced tuna and salmon somehow inside an expertly crafted ball of oh-so-thinly-sliced avocado. I can’t understand how it was created but it was absolutely beautiful. It sat in a pool of ponzu sauce and was delicious. The other highlight of the evening was the«Sakura» roll: Yellowtail, jalepeno, cucumber, scallion, and avocado topped with pepper tuna. OMG. Easily one of the best sushi rolls I have ever eaten in my life. And I’ve eaten a lot of sushi. But what made the evening most memorable was the owner Ping, who was our server. She has an amazing energy and is one of the most friendly owners of a restaurant we have met. She made us feel so welcome, and made us laugh on numerous occasions. We also got to meet her husband Zou, who had prepared our awesome meal. Bottom line: Great food. Soothing atmosphere. Fantastic owners. Go there.

4 different Chinese food places near by where I live, I’ll choose this place over the other 3 every time !!! Staff is incredibly friendly and the food is so good !!! I haven’t tried everything on the menu, but I’ve hit all my usual dishes as far as Chinese food is concerned, all had exceeded my expectations. Now to move on and explore the rest of the menu !!!

My introduction to Asian cuisine was in Queensbury, at the Chinese buffet. While not a bad start to my career as a chopstick aficionado at age 8, the meal at zou sushi is the grown up(and very delicious) upgrade I’ve craved since those days. Hot tea — gorgeous setting. Black pepper tuna — on point. Sushi — delicious and well made. Bento box dinners — balanced and precise pairings. My dad — who can sometimes be a picky eater — LOVED everything he got in his bento box — chicken teriyaki, dumplings, steamed veggies, Cali roll and veggie tempura. My mom liked her as well, and tried a bit of my black pepper tuna and loved it too! Cutest little location on Bay Street. Parking is in the back. Server and sushi chef were both fabulous and kind. Said they couldn’t wait to have us back. Tell your friends, upstaters. This place deserves to be here for a long time to come!

Though the menu was far from unique, the food was tasty and the ambience was peaceful. We were welcomed by a very professional staff and paid a fair amount for the portions we were served. Kudos!

.. The Mongolian Beef? Perfection, as tasted by multiple palates. It’s rare, this far from NYC for me, to find a multiple cuisine venue that does all the food cultures they produce well. Zou is getting that done here with fresh foods, good sushi, warm, welcoming staff and a cute interior that does have special spots for you & your sweetie as well as groups. Coming back when I’m back up here!

Epitome of mom and pop. Clean. Atmosphere is wonderful and relaxing. The owners are so sweet and are genuinely hospitable. Food was excellent and you can’t beat their lunch prices with their quality. They are open late which is a plus. Ping and Zou are the owners. Cutest family, yummy food. What more could we ask for! Plenty for people who don’t eat meat, they will just add tofu or vegetables for you. You won’t regret coming here.

I got some sushi takeout today. The price was awesome and so was the sushi!!! The new restaurant is ABSOLUTELY gorgeous! I will go back and dine in next time. They really have an interesting selection of rolls, can’t wait to try more.

We went on their opening week and the food was very good. We ordered from the Chinese portion of the menu and were very happy with our dishes. I had the happy family, a ubiquitous Chinese restaurant offering and it was excellent. My girlfriend had the perfect match and it was billed as a spicy dish and was a little lacking spice wise, but was generous in meat and the veggies were fresh. The interior has been newly remodeled and looks very nice. It’s nice to have another sit down Asian restaurant in GF. The location is mostly residential and I’m not sure its on most people’s radar, but Antonio’s made a go of it at that location for years, so hopefully it works out for them. The owners are very friendly and earnest. A liquor license would be a plus. We will def be back, but as stated in another review, I’m not sure that there is enough to make it stand out in the long run.

Loved the inari and the sweet potato roll. Not sure if they stand out enough from the other Asian restaurants in town, but the food was good, and they did a great job of renovating the inside. Hope to see more vegetarian options on the menu soon!

Amazing atmosphere in the newly renovated restaurant. Family owned and operated which makes you feel very invited, welcome and appreciated. Food was delicious, fresh and reasonably priced. I would definitely go back on a somewhat regular basis. The only disappointment was the waiter who was obviously upset about employment policies and felt it necessary to share with customers making an uncomfortable dining experience.
