Customer service sucks at this location. I called like 5 times asking if my order was ready for pickup all 5 times they just put me on hold.

I honestly started coming here when I realized the nearest Delco Target to Darby was in Springfield and I don’t drive. Their customer service is great, there’s always a good deal, and you can even cash checks at the main counter. The store can be a tad disorganized, though, and their maternity section vanished after a few visits so I will leave it at 3 stars.

Beware of CERTAIN checkout people. They are running a scam(it’s happened TWICE), where the checkout girl/woman will engage you in chatty conversation, be ‘oh SOSWEET’ &then an Employee will be behind you in line, wanting to get the checkout person to do «whatever«for her. You get confused cuz its all just a mess, & Next thing you know, you get home & check ur receipt & you just got ripped — off for a pkg of paper towels & some other small things.(which ADDSUP)! So BEWARE folks! Don’t engage in ANY conversation with a cashier, cuz she WILLRIPYOUOFF! You’ve been warned! PLEASECHECKTHISOUTWAL-MART! WATCHTHEM! I HAVEPROOF!(I’d LOVE to know how many people this has happened to).And I KNOW what r… ANYWAY — DON’T get me wrong — I LOVE Wal-Mart — go there weekly, it’s a GREAT store & the employees are BEYOND helpful whenever we need to locate something. Its just these damned sneaky checkouts! YOU people KNOWWHOYOUARE!

I had to call 15 times(no joke) before someone answered the phone. Was put on hold three times and each time it was disconnected. All I wanted to know was if something I ordered online was ready to be picked up. My credit card was already charged or else I’d have just let it go and went somewhere else. Worst customer service literally ever.

It’s hard to say what’s worse; the customers or the store employees. The store has more employees hanging out in the aisles talking than at the register ringing customers up. The lines are rarely shorter than 5 – 6 people but the store has no shortage of employees on staff. I couldn’t believe my luck when I bought a house a mile away from a Walmart but if I had actually went inside and looked around and don’t think I would have bought the house in the first place.

The dirtiest, emptiest, ghetto-ist, most poorly run Walmart on the face of the planet. The lines are massively long and prepare for a second wait for the receipt checker at the door. Most shelves are bare or blocked by pallets 24⁄7 so you will need to make a 2nd trip anyway. For heaven’s sake, don’t even think about returning anything or using Site to Store, you simply won’t survive the experience. If you really must Walmart, choose any other location. Or even better, go to Target.

You know what, someone here has to give Walmart some credit. I mean, anytime you can get good prices on some everyday items you need, it has to be worth something, right? Right? That being said… I only gave it two stars because I’m a cheapskate who likes cheap prices on everyday goods. Truth is, I’d never come here for a big ticket purchase, and I agree with everyone here that this place is not well-run at all. I only come here for certain basic products because I live nearby and I know I’ll save money on stuff I need. I put up with the sub-standard experience. I’ve been to Walmarts that were actually pretty nice inside, well-organized, and well-managed. This is not one of those Walmarts.

No! Had to head in here with my mom so she could pick up a prescription. It was supposed to be ready after 10am, we were there at 3pm and it wasn’t ready. It only took about 10 minutes to get ready but the lady working the pharmacy was so rude. She was talking to my mom like it was her fault and so cold. The system froze while she was ringing us out and did not communicate at all so we were left just standing there. Really? So frustrating. Other than that, this is a really old, dirty and unorganized Walmart, a worst of the worst for sure. If you can avoid this place, please avoid it. Even if you are in the happiest of moods, this place will suck your soul clean with the smell, mess and just down right unappealing clientele.

This place is horrible. The building is always looking like it is cluttered. Then you have the employees there talking amongst themselves about their personal lives rather then do their jobs. What about that front entrance huh; is that the break room or something for the employees? You have at least one point in time everyday there will be 10 –15 people out there smoking like there will be no tomorrow. And they are right there at the sliding doors where the customers walking in. Go at own risk or it is the last choice. Good Luck!

This Walmart is the bane of my existence. The ONLY reason I EVER go in there, is because they carry some cake stuff, and since I live around the corner, if I’m in a bind, it’s much more convenient then going up to Michaels on Baltimore Pk. Notice how I did not use the term«run-in and run-out because that will NEVER happen at this place. I avoid this store at all costs. I have NEVER had a better-than-miserable experience here. The K-Mart that is 3 minutes further from my house is awesome and I will absolutely go there for anything of the«mart» nature that I need. I suggest you do the same. This place is a nightmare.

The first thing that strikes you when you enter this«store» is a smell that can best be described as a sickening blend of trans-fats, cheap plastics, and despair. Look around, and you’ll notice the staff and customers run the gamut of «DelCo Zombie» type characters we’ve all come to know and love: loudmouth lady with a fucked-up-face and twenty kids, strung-out leather-skinned scarecrow lady in a ripped tank-top with three cigarettes hanging out of her mouth, jittery guy who smells like Old Crow and looks like he just got his ass kicked, morbidly obese lady paying for a year’s worth of donuts on a credit card that’s already been rejected four times, et cetera. The floor is filthy. The lighting makes me look like a dying 80 year old chain smoker. The shelves are either bare-ass empty or a cluttered mess. When this WalMart was built, it set back our entire civilization 100 years. I fucking hate this place.

This place is a mess. Always crowded and not very organized. They have a self checkout which is very surprising. They always have someone working the exit door who wants to stop you and see your receipt for every little thing. Which is good I guess for anti theft but then don’t have self checkout. With the new Forman Mills next store this area of Glenolden is going downhill fast.

I only go here when I absolutely have to. It never fails if I go to this store for 3 things at least 1 of those 3 things will be out of stock. Often times multiple items that I need are out of stock. Where I live, we’ve got this Walmart 5 minutes from home or what we refer to as the«good» Walmart 10 to 15 minutes away in Eddystone. Unless really pressed for time we *always* go to the one further away as it’s always well stocked and has a much bigger inventory to choose from.
