Companionship — A smiling face, a helping hand, ears to hear and a voice to encourage. From conversation to cards, reading aloud to going for walks, our Caregivers focus on providing social and physical stimulation to keep people active and engaged.

General Assistance — Everyday living activities such as housekeeping, laundry, preparing meals, sorting through the mail or organizing personal affairs often present challenges to people. Our caring staff can assist with household responsibilities making life easier for you and your loved ones.

Personal Care — Dressing, grooming, hygiene and transferring from a bed to chair, or chair to a toilet are things that most people take for granted. These and other personal care activities can often be challenging to people as a result of age, illness, or injury. Our Caregivers can provide the assistance and encouragement to help people receive the level of care that is needed.

Business Owner

After working as an EMT and a billing manager for Exeter Ambulance for 16 years she found Home Helpers to be a perfect match of her medical and administrative training and her strong desire to help people remain independent in their homes. Home Helpers services allow her to truly make a difference in a lot of lives.



Ron and Peg opened Home Helpers in July 2003, providing Senior Care, New Moms and Working Parents, Recuperative Care and/​or Continuing Care services to our community. Since 2003 we have served over 200 clients in Chester and Lancaster Counties. They work closely with the Chester County Office on Aging, Friends Life Care at Home, John Hancock Insurance and others. We are respected members of the Philadelphia Co-​op. We truly enjoy working with people and helping them remain independent.
