Drug Sniffing Dogs for Discreet, Confidential Hire
Who we are
Specialized K9 is a unique business utilizing drug dogs to seek out illegal narcotics in private homes, businesses, schools, and drug treatment facilities. Our dogs are trained in the detection of marijuana, cocaine/crack cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine, and MDMA (ecstasy, molly). Our service can be used to promote a drug free environment without the pressure of using traditional law enforcement and more importantly our service is confidential between the company and the client.
What do we do?
Our dogs are rigorously trained to detect even the slightest odor of drugs by using their olfactory system, in simple terms their noses. Our handlers and K9’s are able to search large areas letting no corner go unsearched. If while conducting a search the scent of a narcotic is picked up, the dog will immediately show greater attention to that area signaling the handler of an increased interest. Once the source of the odor has been located, the dog will alert to the handler of its presence by sitting down. This is called a passive or non-aggressive alert. The dog will not bark, bite, or show any aggressive behavior. That area will then be marked and the handler and dog will continue their search. Once an area is marked, it is up to the client to further investigate for the confirmation of a narcotic. Our company will not do anything that could invade a person’s privacy or violate their rights.
