I had my brakes pads and rotors replaced at a Monro less than 6 months ago. The caliper was stuck but they were able to unfreeze it and said it would be fine. Now the caliper is frozen again and has worn through the existing brake pads and rotors. I went to a local garage, got a quote of over 650 for new pads, rotors, caliper and hoses. Called Monro to find out if anything were under warranty. They said the pads and the rotors were under so I could bring it in. When Monro called me for an estimate WITHOUT the pads, rotors and labor, it was almost 700 dollars. When I was surprised and upset with the price, the person was very rude. NEVER go to Monro, this is my second and last bad experience with them. They are rip offs who can’t be trusted. Wasted my money and even more valuable, my time.

Service was great, they were extremely helpful, the only issue I had was that I had an appointment, and sat in the waiting room for an hour before they even took my car in for an oil change. What’s the point of having an appointment, if you’re still going to wait an hour before service even starts?

I have been bringing my vehicles hear for over a decade. The staff is extremely polite. This is the only place to which I entrust my season tire swap (I run 4 snows in the winter). They have never bent a rim or damaged a wheel.
It is hard to get excited about a repair shop but these guys are as good as it gets!
