Finally came to check out this place and was looking forward to it since I love Mediterranean food and had seen so many positive reviews on Unilocal.I ordered 2 whole Rotiserie chickens which come with pita bread and garlic sauce on the side, I also ordered 2 large orders of Rice Pilaf. First off for the chicken it was kind of dry and very bland was lacking any sort of flavor, the good thing is the side of garlic which i dipped my chicken into gave it a better flavor. I have to say the garlic sauce was good and wasn’t too strong but perfect but like i said the chicken was bland and dry, I was very dissapointed. The rice pilaf was just as dissapointing it lacked flavor. Too sum it up i don’t know how the rest of there food is but I won’t be coming back. One more thing on Zuzu’s website it says the large side of rice pilaf is 16 ounces which i weighed on my digital food scale and both weighed in about 10.5 ounces so your being shortchanged by like 5 ounces, not cool.

The Greek salad is fresh and crispy, the chicken is healthy and delicious, the portions are proportionate to the price and the cost is reasonable. I love it that they add it salmon to the menu. I enjoy the family who owns and runs the place. Very nice and friendly. I highly recommend it. No disappointment here. Pj

Fair priced, fresh, delicious Mediterranean food. At $ 7.99 the half chicken plate comes with small side salad, pita, hummus, and garlic spread. The hummus and garlic spread were SODELICIOUS. I put both on the pita with chicken and it was so perfect. The chicken was a little dry but with the hummus and garlic spread every bite was perfect. The baklava was also pretty good. Definitely my new go to spot to satisfy my Mediterranean cravings when in the area.

Zuzu Chicken is a great alternative to Zankou for those of us who live in the foothills. It is located in a nice, family-friendly plaza. The rotisserie chicken was perfectly marinated and cooked and can be eaten with or without the garlic sauce that comes with the meal. They offer catering services, which I may avail for our special occasions.

If your looking for a quick and fresh lunch go to Zuzu’s. I ordered a chicken shawarma plate with no rice and double salad. When I called to place the order the person helping me was very nice. It was ready in about 10 minutes. I was in and out quickly. When I arrived home I opened the box and was surprised on the portion size. There was a very good portion of food for $ 9. The salad was made with crisp lettuce, hummus had a nice flavor and the chicken shawarma had nice spices. The only negative thing I found with the food was the garlic sauce I asked for. It was very bitter. I have had garlic sauce like that many times at places like zanku and it has never been this bitter. The garlic isn’t going to stop me from coming back tho! I feel like I am going to become a regular at this place!

Salmon kebab was awesome! Enjoyed the hummus too. Michael had the chicken kebab. He said it was excellent. Very reasonable price for a lot of food. Tasty salad. Love the baklava. Dinner for four people costs less than $ 50. Definitely coming back here whenever we’re in town visiting mom.

Delicious and friendly service sums up Zuzu chicken. Came by with my friend, she had the tri tip and chicken skewer and I the chicken skewer. The chicken is breast meat perfectly seasoned and succulent. We both loved our food and dug the garlic sauce on our pita bread. Since the owner saw me take pics of our food for Unilocal!he gave us free baklava for dessert. Great find in Glendora.

Ordered their family special — whole chicken, salad, rice and some extra kebobs. While their kebobs were the best and the salad was awesome — their chicken was dry. They cooked it early and then reheated or kept in a warming oven ?? Pricier than the one in Claremont…

Okay guys it’s time for an updated review! I have tried many plates now since my first shawarma wrap… Ultimately my favorite is the chicken kebab and Lula combo! Sooooo much food!!! I always order a bag of pita and garlic sauce. My mom is usually stocked up on pita but Zuzu’s is always better! Same brand but better quality! One thing I see in previous reviews is how dry the chicken is. I will agree that the chicken in the shawarma wrap is slightly dry but that’s usually what you get at many shawarma places, and I actually prefer my chicken that way. If you don’t like the dry chicken shawarma perhaps try the gyro or beef kabob wrap. I can’t say much for the rotisserie chicken since I usually stick to the chicken kabob. The combination plates feed my daughter and I and we still have some left over for a snack! You get a lot for your money here if you order smartly. The owners are always such sweethearts no matter how busy it is! I got there way before opening time today and they let me in and took my order! I didn’t even know they were barely opening and getting everything warmed up. But that’s just how nice they are, always putting customers first. I always feel very satisfied with my food from Zuzu’s. I definitely recommend having a different plate until you find your favorite one. You can’t go wrong!!! Can’t wait to come back!

Walk in to order a half chicken#2 at $ 5.49 on the menu, the owner son(I think he is) try to charge me $ 8 something, I asked I only want half chicken, no side, and he told me #2 is for lunch only, I look at the clock on the wall, 2:10. Fine, I asked whatelse is available? He said, everything else except #2,(in my mind go wth), I said, I don’t want any side, I just want the chicken, is #1 available? He said yes. I feel like I been rip off, if they don’t want to sell that, just cross it out. By the way, the chicken is cold, dry, tasteless and small. For a bit more, I rather go the grill house, for less, I rather go Costco, taste better in every way.

Tried out the beef lula. Cooked up fresh. The day I visited they had different machines not working: frier, drink fridge… They were also out of yogurt drink…

Delicious and filling! Love the chicken kabob plate for sure. My husband had the tri-tip and absolutely loved it! I love that the kabobs are right off the grill so served hot. The service is a-ok. The older man making the food was way friendlier than the woman at the register. He asked us how we enjoyed our meal and wished us a good day. That was nice. It’s a bit pricey and I wish they provided green olives which I love with hummus but can’t have everything, right? Either way, I’d most definitely recommend this place and will be returning soon!

The chicken schawerma wrap is one of my favorite foods ever. Pure comfort food. Perfectly seasoned chicken with big chunks of tomatoes and onions on a warm pita. I eat it 2 – 3 times a month, usually as a perfect accompaniment to a relaxing Sunday when I don’t want to think too hard about lunch or get dressed up to be fancy. The family meal is also a good go-to dinner solution, way better than grocery store rotisserie and very reasonably priced. I do not like to eat in at Zuzu unless the weather is perfect for outdoor eating; it’s not great ambience but the food is awesome for take out.
