The place is clean and organized, the employees are in the floor always coasting through the aisle and friendly if you have any questions, but the selection is up and down some things newer and some older. Great place they I go out of my way to stop by due to the fact that I’m 2 cities away.

Was meeting friends for tea next door but I arrived early and rescinded to look around while I wanted. The people working here make the place 5 stars on its own. They were friendly, helpful and went above and beyond (opened the door for me, helped me with my basket, etc)
The stuff they have is good. I found a few things to buy (although that wasn’t my intention when I walked in) for some people. I had to take them back to my car before tea time.
If I am ever in the area again I will be stopping in!

I don’t frequent thrift stores but a good friend told me about this place and I have to say I love it, I found Arte de Mexico round table (that retailed for 5 thousand dollars) in desperate need on some love bought it for 79.99, put some hard work into it sanded it re stained & refinished it and it looks great. Staff was amazing when I commented about the table on Face Book they replied fast they were great in the store also!
To who ever donated it thanks your table got a second life reuse & recycle!

It’s a very well organized thrift store. I love going in to this place because they have everything in its place and they even have the clothes broken down by sizes! In another part of their store, they have their bigger ticket items such as furniture and what not. Friendly staff with their uniformed shirts is the icing on the cake! :)

NUO finds a way to be different while selling much the same stuff as other places. And +1 for a cool name!
We wandered into NUO on a Sunday even though it looked closed. The staff were everywhere and they were doing an absolutely terrific job of helping customers, restocking, and straightening up. What a fine bunch of kids.
For $ 4, I bought a big bowl shaped like half an avocado. I would have paid $ 5. Now I feel like I simply must have a party to fill it with something and show off to my culinary friends!

Since they got more business third policy and employee are getting bad and lazy. We both some furniture and the person that helping is lazy I end up taking the furniture to my car lazy lazy. Then another day I’m trying to return or even credit for a product manager said can not return any more, but I told the manager that they use to return and get credit and it does not on my receipt no return not exchange on it. Never going here again sad. Even when we told the manager that we are not coming back she did not care. Very sad.

Love this store. They take pride in displaying merchandise. Items are priced inexpensively. Friendly staff.

I love this thrift store, and travel about 20 miles to shop once a week. It used to, and kinda still is a treasure box; however, as of late I have noticed the prices have been pretty inconsistent with the merchandise. Also, I feel like the people running it might be getting a little greedy with the «Vintage items» they have. I’m really surprised what they deem value on a not so valuable item. I want to support a small business, and spend my money where’s its needed the most, but I also want to get something for my money as well.

Sometimes when I am on a break from work I will come to this hidden thrift store. They offer a Unilocal check in of 20% off regular priced items.
They receive some really great items. Recently I purchased 2 REI self-​inflatable camping beds which were $ 35 each but they retail at $ 120. They were practically brand spanking new!
They have a large selection of books and clothing. They also offer an additional 50% off items with white and yellow tags which leaves the items super cheap! I found some nice tops here with brand new tags for $ 3 or $ 4 bucks.

This is probably my favorite thrift store in the area. I can always find great deals. Unlike a lot of the thrift stores in the area, this one is always clean and tidy. It doesn’t ever seem to be junky or rundown, which I’ve noticed other thrift stores tend to be after awhile.
Their vinyl collection is great for a thrift store. There are usually a lot of junk records, but if you look through you can usually find at least one or two that are great. Their clothing selection is also great and I have found clothes I love on multiple occasions. They also have a very sizable book section that is organized.
That being said, their prices seem to have gone up recently. Some of the items they want way more money for than a thrift store should be asking. Their furniture tends to be fairly pricey, so I usually look elsewhere.

First check in after 6 months– everything went wrong.
Was told that everything except white and red tags were half off. Checked out the LPs (which have no tags), and the icy cashier told me why donated, used LPs are not half off by comparing them to unused sunglasses bought at cost. In my mind, these items are not comparable.
Behind the case, there was a vintage Canon (AE1), half off $ 120. She picked it up holding the lens and got fingerprints on it. Not good. Even half off $ 120, the camera could be had for less elsewhere. (The overzealous googlers I wrote about in my first review still work here.) Also a beat up Nikon with a telephoto lens, half off $ 40. Looked like the exposure meter had broken off and was rattling inside. Passed on both.
Got to the book section and saw my doppelgänger, a dead-​eyed college age Asian guy soullessly scanning books to sell online. I realized that his center of reason no longer was in his head, but in his hands.
Before I started to wring his neck with my bare hands I realized that it just really was a bad day for me to review the store and I promptly left.
Went back there this past week, and they redeemed themselves. Although LPs are still full price (they’re $ 1 each), I did find that someone did buy the mishandled Canon and the beat up Nikon. I reckon having a camera in hand is better than having two bushes. (Or something like that)
Bought Corb’s «Towards a New Architecture,» for $ 3. Immediately after purchasing, wrote in pen a quote from college by Thomas A Kempis–
«If thou wilt receive profit, read with simplicity, humility, and faith, seeking not the fame of being learned.»
I won’t be selling it on Amazon anytime soon.

This is probably my favorite thrift shop — any where! I got such great steals for an extra 50% off! They don’t have trash in there (okay well maybe a little, it IS considered a thrift store after all!), they have antiques! And some pretty great finds too. I just wish I lived closer to this place, cuz I would be in there every weekend looking for steals! I’m looking forward to the day I go back!

I have been into New Unto Others a couple times. When I go to thrift stores I mostly look at housewares and furniture I can DIY.
I have found some good finds here, but also seen pieces I would have liked to buy with no DIY required.
On my last trip I actually found two books I’ve been meaning to buy at Barnes and Noble for around $ 2.00 each. Score.
If you see something you like on their website or in store they will hold it for you for two hours. You can also pay in full and get a little more time if you need someone with a truck to come help you.
The workers are all so friendly and helpful!

They have a nice selection of used books here, I found the 4^th harry potter for $ 3. Large selection of clothes and housewares in here. They also have a room of dining tables, chairs, and furniture in good condition.
They do have changing rooms and clean restrooms. All sales are final and they take card.

I absolutely love this store. I’m a thrift store junkie not even going to lie. Some trips are better than others but isn’t that kind of the way life works. I really enjoyed stumbling upon this lovely place today. I LOVE THRIFT SHOPPING! You can find soooo many beautiful items that are slightly used for usually a fourth or less of it’s worth. Today I found a dress for My Thanksgiving date and a snowman candle. Both for $ 9.50. I wasn’t planning on leaving w/​anything I just wanted to check the place out. So glad I came, because I found a beautiful dress barely used. I found sooo many other things too. Many Xmas decorations, I wanted them all. Especially all the snowmen. I collect them. I’ll be back this week to pick up a few more items I know I will need for Xmas. There was one main large room and another small room off to the side. I also noticed people making their Edison or Gas payments there in the small room. I later found out it’s a utility payment center. This place was very neat, everything was clean and in order. Not cluttered. Staff was very friendly, and prices were very well priced. 50% off of all items that don’t have a green or orange tag. CHECK IN ON Unilocal FOR 20% off of a regularly priced item. Seems like I’m shooting myself in the foot, letting people know how wonderful this place is. It is so near, clean and well organized. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Plus, I found two great pieces, a full sized bed frame and an armoire at great prices!
I just happened to be in Glendora — a 40 minute drive for me – and decided to check it out. So glad I did. Now I will definitely be back there soon.. . After all, they were nice enough to lend me a blanket to keep the pieces from scratching each other in the van. I have to return it, right?
