The dealer told me that I would be spending $ 2000+ on repairing my AC. I went in Glendora Import and they fixed my car for under $ 400. I appreciate the honesty and I will never go back anywhere else. I finally found a place that I can trust. Thank you!!!

I just moved to the area and both my cars needed an oil change, I walked in and was greated by the friendly and polite staff. Both cars were completed in a timley manor. Never wanted to sell me something I don’t need like the dealors or other garages. I am happy to find an Automotive service garage that is trust worthy and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

Hands down the best mechanic I have found in the area. My battery kept dying on me and they looked at it, solved the issue and were able to get it fixed that day. They were very professional and got the job done, which is all I ask for. Hopefully I don’t need a mechanic again any time soon, but it is good to know there is one I can depend on in a pinch.

Glendora Import has been my saving grace! After a seemingly non-​ending succession of very regrettable experiences at a hack place in Covina called «The Garage» I really needed some experts to pick up the broken pieces of my 1974 Dodge Charger SE. Not only was Kevin, one of their wonderful mechanics, able to diagnose and fix ALL the problems the other horrible shop had created for me, the entire staff took the time to listen to my 13+ years experience with the car and figure out exactly what was going on. Whether you call in or show up in person, they could not be more attentive to your car’s specific needs and they never make you feel stupid for asking questions or wanting to understand what has/​will be done. I would very highly recommend this place to anyone, especially a muscle car owner because they can handle it and get you the parts you need. A huge thank you to Kevin, Chris, Greg, Derick, and everyone else at this car oasis for getting my beast operational again, you are the best at what you do!

I bought a 1984 Honda Civic with high idle as 2^nd car. The car had to be towed from the 605 with a dead battery. Took it to Glendora Import Specialists because I walk by it every morning with my dogs. New carburetor was put in and the heat riser hose had to be replaced to pass the smog check. Gregg and everyone there were very courteous and helpful throughout the whole process They are going to be the go to shop for the Honda as I trust them and they are very reasonable. BTW I am not sure if it is correct as I can’t believe that I am getting 40 mpg with this Honda.

I went here on a Saturday morning. They have a nice, clean office, There are three service writers sitting at desks in a row with chairs in front of them for customers. There is also a waiting area with chairs and magazines. Two of the three service writers were free so I sat down in front of one of them and was helped right away.
I was afraid I had a transmission problem, but it turned out to be a broken «engine torque mount», which cost $ 145 to fix. They said I had three other motor mounts that were worn and recommended replacing, but did not try to pressure me. They said I could wait and see — if the mount they replaced breaks again, that means I need to replace all the mounts. Since this car has over 200,000 miles, I decided to go the cheap route and see what happens.
They did the work timely and it solved the problem so I’m satisfied. They were courteous and professional.

Since 2010, I have been going to this shop to take care of both my Toyota Tundra and Scion Tc. I have never felt like they were trying to rip me off, and they have always been upfront and honest in their transactions. I am confident in the ability of the technicians, and know that they go above and beyond in the quality of work that they produce.
I live out in the High Desert, and while there might be more convenient places to go, I still choose to have the majority, if not all, of my auto-​work done at this location. Simply put, I highly recommend this shop for your auto-​work needs.

My brother had been going to this shop for years and suggested it to me a while back. Had to get an oil change and took it here. The good Unilocal reviews are accurate! The whole shop is probably the cleanest I have ever seen. Very cool and honest owner. Good prices. She also gave great advice when I needed to get a nail out of my tire and get my car smogged. I feel like I’ve finally found a home for car repair and service!

Great service. I have been coming here for 20, maybe 21 years. They have always been honest and very knowledgable about every car I have had (Toyota, Honda, Acura, Mazda).

I chose this business based on outstanding Unilocal reviews. The person I spoke to on the phone was courteous and helpful, and it seemed as if things would go smoothly.
I brought my car in for an inspection and estimate. I took a seat in the office while the owner? was dealing with a customer. When that customer was finished I was the only customer present, and no less than four employees came and went over the next ten minutes. No greeting, no interest, no acknowledgement in fact, that I was there.
So I left. World’s full of repair shops, I’m paying for the service, and thats what I expect.

I HIGHLY recommend this place. My Toyota Camry speedometer stop working, I took it to the Dealership where I normally would take my car. They told me it was electrical and it would cost me $ 3,000 to fix, I then took it to several other mechanics and I was told it wasn’t electrical but they couldn’t figure it out. Glendora Imports found the problem and fixed it one day, and charged me less then$ 1,000. They are very honest, reliable and knowledgeable. I know tell all my family and friends about Glendora Import Specialist.

We have taken our Ford (yes, they work on domestic vehicles too!) and Honda here for many years. They are honest and have fair prices. They provide excellent customer service and are very thorough with their assessments.

If I could give this fantastic team of professionals more than 5 stars I would. On a road trip, I stopped to visit friends in Glendora. As I was leaving, my car wouldn’t start. Called these folks up based on my friends’ recommendation and Kris took care of me all the way. My particular issue had a lot of twists and turns and these folks took care of each thing perfectly. I just can’t say enough good things about them! If you are in the area, I highly recommend they become your one and only mechanics team. And if you are passing through, as I was, and need some help to get you on your way, call these folks and they will make sure you get back on the road as soon as possible. Thanks you guys!

Guess I should have checked my car out thoroughly, before I took it here! If a friend hadn’t noticed that the trans-​mount they (should have/​were supposed to replace) wasn’t done, I would have had a terrifying experience on the freeway! When it was taken off,(cause it looked worn and torn), it fell apart. (Should ask these specialists for the removed parts… No Matter… Hoyos Auto Repair is alittle further, but they will give me a ride to work! Good luck, friends! Hope you never have the experience I did!

My boyfriend and I just moved back into the area and it was that dreaded time… time to find a new mechanic… eeek!
These guys were great from the start! We needed to get the interior handles replaced on Richard’s Corolla, so I called just to get a quote. I spoke to Daniel and he was extremely helpful. While on hold (which was not long, at all!!) he called the local Toyota dealership to see if the part was available. He said they could have the part in a couple hours and I told him I’d call him back, because I was waiting for another shop to call with a quote. The other shop never called, thank goodness!
So, I called back and made my appointment for 1pm that day. When I got there I was helped by a really nice woman, I believe her name was Chris maybe? Either way, she was also very nice, talkative, and helpful!
In 45 min, they replaced the handles, did an oil change, and gave me an estimate of some issues that they found with the car, but weren’t pushy about it and didn’t try to get me to do the repairs while I was there. While some of the things were big and serious, there were little things, such as some lights that were out that they could have very easily tried to up sell me with.
One of the most difficult parts of finding a mechanic, is finding one you can trust. And although this was only my first visit, I definitely feel confident in them and WILL BE BACK!
