Foothill Swap Meet

Used be a great place. Went downhll dramatically when they started jerking you around as far as getting in and out and where to park. Aisles that used to be filled with regular vendors are empty.

This is my favorite swapmeet located at Citrus College. Lovely foothill scenery, fresh air, clean, large vibrant swapmeet perfect for my weekend walking exercise
and fresh fruit shoping.

I love it it’s fun and have awesome things I will be coming here next Sunday but I think coming real early is better :)

So many great deals I found there. I went in looking for some games. Found some NES in some spots selling for 3 a game. Some places were overpriced but I enjoyed my experience and can’t wait to go back.

This review is for this past Sunday. I bought a box of mangos for $ 3. They even had one cut in half to trick you in buying the box. Well when i got home i cut the entire box and All of them were rotted!!! Be careful when buying fruit there.

the best swap meet out there… you can find almost anything here! Vendors are all polite and give out great deals…

Not exactly what I was expecting, only a dollar to get it, but I spend a lot more in gas just to get here, not as many vendors as they had said in a website I saw, mostly used stuff so if you’re looking for something used you might find it here

Great swapmeet. Only $ 1 admission or free if you prefer to visit the vendors outside the gates. You can buy anything here for inexpensive.

Great place to buy toilet paper and dish washing detergent, plus crappy car speakers.

the stuff at this place was pretty sketchy not a lot of stuff either more like a lot of old tools. Good to just kill time.

This is a large place, but the quality of items offered were sketchy at best. It looked like the 99 cent store threw up and they decided to make it into a swap meet. Vendors were selling bulk toliet paper, expired Avon products, and food that hasn’t been on the shelves in years. It was an hour drive, a buck to get in and a lesson learned. (The produce, although not sampled or purchased, was the one thing that looked decent)

Thos place is huge and a little overwhelming at first but it has everything here… from fruits, veggies, groceries, furniture, sports gear, and my favorite… plants. I was able to fill my garden up with herbs and veggies for 20 bucks. I will definitely be back!

Good swap meet that has a lot of vendors. Be prepared to walk because this swap meet is huge. They have everything. You have to pay once you reach a certain location to get further.

this is a huge swap meet, me and my husband love to go and eat and see what we can find. I loved it specially because we didn’t have to pay entrance so if u go GO AROUND 12 when the ticket booth to pay is close! but they have tons of stuff and all kinds theres this couple that sells natural flavor waters my husband got the alfalfa and I got strawberry both were really good!!!

If you ever visited the original swapmeet at the Drive-​in, you’re going to need some time to get used the newer location. I buy a whole lot of stuff here, I buy my dog’s food here, I get GREAT deals on the bags of the all natural health dog food at HALF the price. I buy all my fresh fruit and veggies here, it’s like a farmers market! If you’re into tools, you can find some great values on tools that have lifetime warranties on them (ie. Snap-​on, Craftsman) and it’s just all around fun. Here are some of the items I’ve seen (both new and used) patio furniture, lawn ornaments, grocery items, personal care items, pet care, toys, shoes, luggage, electronics, antiques, used cars (yes there is an area to bring cars for sale to) fabric, instruments, furniture, incense, silver jewelry, and so many other items I can not even think of.
Tips for a fun shopping trip;
1. SUN SCREEN (or an umbrella)
2. comfy walking shoes
3. water
4. re-​usable shopping bags, those plastic bags can get heavy or rip.
5. A shopping basket, wagon or some kind of wheeled item you can place your finds in without having to carry them.
6. water!
7. If you plan on buying clothing bring a measuring tape because you can’t always try it on.
8. Arrive early, depending on the weather people can decide to pack up early, you still get charged even if half the sellers have gone home! It’s only a dollar but it’s a matter of principal! I suggest getting there between 9 – 11 am.
Parking can be a headache here especially because of the current construction at Citrus College, arriving early also helps with that!
I also suggest visiting one of the taco trucks, my favorite is the truck on the side of the swap meet facing Barranca Ave. Really great carne asada (beef) and Al Pastor (pork) tacos.

This is SGV’s biggest yard sale… every piece of junk imaginable is up for sale. Clothes bargains galore. mixed in with grocery vendors selling peanuts, fruits and toiletries. It’s a buck to get in, parking kinda sucks because of all the construction going on at the college. but all in all a fun and amusing way to spend your Sunday morning. Highly recommend the taco vendor in the back. I think it’s Taco El Patio. we had $ 1.25 carne asada tacos… omg these were so delicious that we went back for more. and no stomach ache afterwards either.

The swap meet moved from the historic Azusa (Foothill) Drive-​in located on Route 66 to our their new location in May 2003. The Drive-​in had been operating for over 50 years with the swap meet opening in 1969. They are currently operating on the campus of Citrus College ¼ mile east of the Azusa Drive-​in. Over 530 spaces and 6000 buyers every Sunday.
Its only a buck to get in and will take you a couple hours to walk through it. The people are friendly and bargains are everywhere. There are a couple of $ 1.25 taco vendors with excellent food and you can get a 30 minute full body massage for $ 20. You are certain to find what you are looking for at this place and have a great time doing it.
