Bed Bath & Beyond

Not a bad place to find stuff for your bedroom, bathroom at reasonable prices. For the long bathroom rug they had, it was a good desert sand color.
There is a lot of other junk that gets your attention. I couldn’t find one item in the store, but they did have it online.
Check out! Well check out is all over the place. One minute they’re in the middle of the counter where you enter ringing you up. Next they’re off to the side right by entrance ringing you up.
They do have registers off to the right side, but are seldom used. Oooooh my??? They do have registers.

I rarely go here anymore, I find the prices too high and I can usually get the item cheaper on sale at Target. But I had a gift card, so I decided to get a Cusinart item here.
Of course, I picked up a few more items while browsing around (the floor help, a very nice fellow, was extremely nice and he alone earned the 2 stars, read on). My order totalled over $ 100.00.
Approaching the register, 2 women working the counter. Neither acknowledged me. I got the feeling I was interrupting something. I stacked my items on the counter, thinking that might spur some sort of customer service. One answered with an exasperated ‘I’m doing a return I will be right with you’ which was neither sincere nor reassuring. I stood waiting another few minutes. Then the other one says, ‘Ok, I’ll help you over here’ and motioned to another counter. I had to move all my items there, no offer to help. Rude rude rude.
In the past, cashiers have been helpful and courteous, allowing you to use 20% coupon on 2 items, or use it 2x. This night, I was a moron and forgot my coupon at home. Before I could ask, Ms. Client Relations informs me that, No, she doesn’t have any coupons available. I asked about the texted/​online coupon offer and she said those take 24 hrs to receive. I asked if I could return w/​receipt and coupon and she affirmed I could do so within 30 days.
A few nights later I arrived with coupon in hand, expires 5÷26÷16, to receive my refund. The cashier, again, a different one, was also very grumpy and obviously not happy to see me. After an unpleasant transaction, I asked for the coupon back to use another time, and she said No, its a one time use. I inquired about the ad they have all over the store regarding the Text/​Coupon offer. I informed her I did this 3 nights ago and I never received a coupon. She curtly replied, «That’s never happened before.» Mkay. I didn’ t think it was cool to take my coupon away, but whatever. I’m done with you, BB&B and your mean cashiers.

So my review is based off of two experiences here. I forgot to review for the last time.
First visit! Approximately 2 months ago…
I was definitely a little desperado and needed some new sheets! I finally upgraded to a memory foam mattress & wanted to just get some new satin sheets. I really didn’t know where to go. the employees would pop up and disappear into the aisles. After wandering for 10 minutes I found myself in the sheet section. I couldn’t find what I was looking for and had to track someone down to find it for me. Now this was the annoying part. I told the person I wanted to get satin sheets. She said oh you mean «SATEEN sheets».
Um.sure the silky soft ones. After about 30 seconds I ask.“So do you have any other satin sheets?” She snapped «you mean SATEEN SHEETS ITS SATEEN YOU DONT PRONOUNCE IT CORRECTLY». Alright someone didn’t take their Xanax this morning. This went on for about 10 minutes before I couldn’t take it anymore.
I also couldn’t find a particular jar to hold iced tea & nobody seemed to know where anything WAS? Welp. I love my sheets at least.
I come in tonight. I need a new bed cover sheet & once again I don’t know where to go. after the same routine (you would think with a store this big they would have a lot of staff around to help), and I finally find someone who is very nice. She helped me find the right thing & I even told her about my sateen issue. she thought it was annoying too. She was cool to talk to and helped me more then the other lady did. She actually helped that’s why.
But Like really other lady? Get off your pompous high horse. I actually found out sateen is made from satin. I wanted satin. not sateen. So technically she is wrong, trying to correct me when I was right. Now I know nothing about these type of products! But come on a simple google search.
So she can have many seats. Special seats. Lined with her beloved SATEEN.

Customer service was terrible. I went to exchange a product I bought, not even 6 months ago. The man «helping» me looked up the model number in the bottom of my product and told me it was an «employee priced product» the manager came over and told me the product was worth 87 dollars and they would give me 80% of that price back. I told them I paid full price for the product (close to $ 200) and just wanted to exchange it for the same one. The man then told me they couldn’t do that because they would be losing money. I did not pay employee price for my product, I paid full price. If they sold me an employee product at full price then they have already made profit off of me. This is the result of a mistake that THEY made and I am extremely disappointed for the lack of help I’ve experienced.

Ew, the customer service here is pretty much non-​existent. They act like they freaking work at Neiman Marcus! Lol get off your high horses people and just sell stuff. A little smile never hurt anyone.
Just went to buy something and got weird attitude from the cashier for no reason. Oh wait. I did use a typical 20% coupon. Shame on me. Hahaha keep giving us coupons, BBB, because we all know you’d have no business if it wasn’t for the coupons!
Seriously though guys – step it up. Smile, be happy, and do your jobs.

Great place to buy candles! They have wood wick candles! WOO!

I got great help over the phone while I was looking for prices for the Omega Rolling Cat Litter Box. Bed Bath and Beyond online had this product listed and I hoped to walk in and purchase it in store without the shipping delay. Glendora ordered it for me and had it shipped to my home, free delivery, and I received it in 4 days instead of the 7 – 10 estimated by a competitor. And by the way, this is a great litter box :)

Arrived at opening and was helped right away and was requiring about coupons on line she explained to me that it’s not the same as tex coupons and she gave me a quick form to fill out and honored the discount, way to go bed bath and beyond.

I went to BB&B on January 21, 2015. I LOVE BB&B. This is by far the best Bed Bath & Beyond I have ever been to. They have wonderful customer service. EVERY sales associate was extremely helpful and polite. Especially for Keith and Stephanie they were so helpful and they also had great decorating ideas. I had a very enjoyable experience. I ended up spending $ 250 dollars that day. BB & B will definitely be my first choice for home shopping. Also the coupons are an added bonus!

I very rarely shop at Bed Bath & Beyond. Was in need of a specific Secret Santa gift that was sold at this store. I walked in with a photo of the 2 items I needed and was quickly assisted by Stephanie. Stephanie was able to order one of the items for me online, which I received a day earlier than expected and the other she found in stock at the store. Stephanie then asked about my Christmas shopping and suggested a few more items I could get there at the store. I was able to get some gifts marked off of my Christmas shopping list. Stephanie was great. She was extremely helpful and made shopping a bit more fun for me, who doesn’t care too much for shopping. I would return to this store just because of Stephanie and her great customer service.

Horrible DEGRADING customer service at Glendora BBB!!! Don’t shop here unless you want to be accused of dishonesty and embarrassed by the awful cashier Jennifer. Went in to buy a carpet runner and noticed there were two that looked the same except one was priced $ 9.99 and the other $ 29.99. The lower price looked like a return that had been sloppily re-​wrapped but otherwise in good condition (I assumed it was discounted because it was irregular based on the label). I went to the cashier Jennifer (some blonde girl with short hair) to double check the price on the one marked 29.99 thinking maybe it was mis-​priced. when she told me it was 29.99 I went back to the shelf and grabbed the other rug that was repackaged for a lower price. When I went back to the register 2 mins later to pay for the carpet, Jennifer acted scanned the item then said, «hey, this just scanned for 29.99» and now was scanning 9.99. I told her, yes, the have different pricing but I’m not sure the difference since they look the same so I grabbed the lower priced runner.
Jennifer then proceeded to make a BIG stink and called a manager and another staff on the floor to proceed and tell them that I switched the price on the rugs. She did this all in front of a long line of customers stating, «someone switched the price!» Wow! Really? Because it’s not possible that an employee could have marked the price wrong after repackaging it! Oh, but wait, there’s more. Before she called the manager she had the floor staff go do a price check and he came back, threw more of the same carpet runners on the counter and with a you’ve been caught harsh tone, «yeh, they’re 29.99.» The cashier then starts taking off the label/​price on the rug telling me she’s selling it for the higher price. I then tell the cashier that if the store mis-​marked the product they still need to honor the price marked (ever heard of weights & measures??). She then responds, «I will have to check the cameras.» In other words, «I am so positive that you customer switched the labels in the 2 mins it took for you to walk back to the shelf and we the ever high mighty employees never make any mistakes in pricing so I am going to prove you did it by reviewing the security cameras and earn the Bed Bath & Beyond Medal of Valor for saving the store $ 20 even if I have to humiliate and degrade the customer!»
Not my fault your dumb employees messed up restocking a return but now you can’t change the price at the register. Take some responsibility for your errors and don’t turn around and accuse an innocent customer of switching prices. Lame rude cashier Jennifer needs to be fired! Oh, and did I mention that she lied to the manager about telling me that she couldn’t sell me the item until she checked the security cameras. She denied she accused me of switching prices and laughed when I told the manager how offended I was. No apology or anything. I really hope she does check the cameras so she can see how wrong she was. WORST shopping experience of my life!

5 plus!!! For employee Darlene or Marlene she was amazing! I will come again just for this employee, I came for grill supplies for Fathers Day, 1 thing I needed was out of stock, she searched counters, other stores, and together helped find an alternative! Best customer service I’ve ever had! Very enjoyable experience, due to her great service and ingenuity I ended up spending 100 more than I had planned on, she was just that good!

Curse you coupons that come in the mail… I didn’t even need anything, but I went just to make sure… I mean I had a 30% off and I couldn’t let that pass. Of course, I discovered that perhaps, I needed new towels… stupid coupons. The store was clean and orderly. The staff was friendly and once the line got too long, they called immediately for back up.

I visited this location on ⁹⁄₆ and experienced the worst customer service by a front lead associate, when trying to locate a gift on a bridal registry. I will not be retuning to this location. I would specifically recommend that corporate invest in additional customer service training for their management and lead staff. I wrote to corporate giving more specifics about my terrible experience and have not heard back, even though they claim they will respond in 48 hours. It has been over a week! I am giving one star only because of the nice boy who rang up my purchase. He seemed embarrassed by upper mgmts behavior and tried to make up for the Front lead’s rudeness.
UPDATE: Never heard back from corporate. BBB no longer exists to me.

The store itself was very clean and well stocked. I found what I needed very quickly. I was not however impressed with the staff and for this reason I will be going to other Bed Bath & Beyond locations.
I walked in and asked where I could find the Wedding Registry. I was directed to costumer services. Pssh that’s a laugh. The woman behind the counter was very rude. She rolled her eyes at me when I explained that I needed the list printed out because I had left mine at home by accident. Wow… sorry…I thought that this was something your store offered? Then she sighed loudly when I couldn’t get the spelling on the grooms name right. Sorry but it’s a complicated name. So she finally hands me the print out and just walks away before I can even ask her another question. Whatever. I walked out into the store and found what I needed. I went to the check out and cashed out and then asked about gift wrapping. The cashier directed me back to good old costumer services. Now I will admit that the gift I got was rather large… BUT I was totally willing to actually pay (instead of getting free wrapping) AND Tip. yeah that totally didn’t happen. I got a young man (so a different person) who looked extremely annoyed that I had something for him to wrap. He then tells me it will take about 20 mins to wrap it as they were busy… I looked behind him and saw ONE other person being helped by the 1^st extremely rude woman. Seriously??? I literally stood right in front of him never leaving my spot and watched him just talk away to the other two woman. Even my boyfriend walked up and asked me what was taking so long. At this the young man finally got around to wrapping. When he handed the gift to my boyfriend he didn’t even say anything. Just turned around and started talking to the other ladies. I’m not just saying this because the all the other bad things but my 3 year old neighbor could have wrapped it better. I waited 15mins for this guy to wrap one gift in two different spools of paper. NOT HAPPY. We took it home a re wrapped it ourselves. I couldn’t take that into a wedding!
If you like being treated like dirt this is the place to go. Will not be going back.

Came here with my husband yesterday looking for a mattress cover (not bed sheets, but an actual protective cover for the mattress that goes under your bed sheets). We have been to this store a few times before (located right next to BevMo, where you can poach off of their free wifi by the way).
During this shopping experience, the store was busy with people probably buying up holiday décor for their homes and offices and also much needed presents I suppose. The store was clean and items seemed to be adequately stocked (although there were no more queen size mattress covers for us, thus us not purchasing anything this time).
Employees were around the floors so that you could easily find them in case you have a question for them to help you find something.
Overall, have no complaints and would continue to keep shopping here.
By the way, there is plenty of parking here and love being able to use the 20% off and $ 5 off $ 15 purchase coupons here to save money (and yes they do take expired coupons as well… all Bed Bath & Beyond stores do).

I love BB&B. I am a sucker for kitchen gadgets. My eyes glaze over and I go into a stupor with all the domestic items to satisfy all my different desires and all the shiny applliances and kitchen gadgets.
Don’t forget your 20% off coupon they send to you. It helps with the wallet shock when you can’t help but add different items to your cart that you never thought you needed until you saw it and held it lovingly in your hands and realized you just can’t live without it. Like my new «as seen on tv» space saver spice rack.

Admittedly, I don’t shop here all that much but I can imagine doing so once I have my own place. The last time I was here, I bought a microplane, a garlic ricer, a wine key, and one of their double-​walled plastic cups (with a lid and a pack of straws). My total was around $ 30, not bad at all. the service here was great then and was great on the trip I’m reviewing. My friend went in to pick up a corkscrew and I can only imagine that if the corkscrew collection was that large, you must have a ton of choices one anything and everything in the store.
Because of the prices, selection and customer service, I’ll be back. The trifecta of perfection is in this store. I’m the cook in the family, so kitchen gadgets are my domain. I know if I need something I can find it here.

After visiting the West Covina store, I went home to see if this store had the floor mats I wanted, and they did. This time I placed my order for «Store PIck up» (which is new for California) —
2hrs later I got an email that my order was ready for pick up.
Walked in — and there were 2 long lines — and the «store pick up» line was taking customers that were waiting to pay. Got in the «store pick up» line, and just as I got in line 3 more registers opened up — is this just for the holidays? Cuz I dont ever remember BBB being this good. I just find it incredible that I went to 2 BBB and was impressed by both of them.
I was next in line, and a manager said he can ring me up at another register — wait what??? Am I dreaming? I told him I was there for a pick up — he took a look at the email I printed out and told me he’ll be right back. 2 mins later he was back and had my merchandise, rang me out —
IMPRESSIVE.
