History

Established in 1975.

In the mid-​1950s, the building that now houses Angelo’s Burgers was the very first drive-​through in the area – at the time, it was a taco stand. The establishment became Angelo’s in 1975.

Meals at Angelo’s are served in large portions, no matter what you order – whether it’s a burger, the French toast special, or steak sandwiches. The restaurant has plenty of tables both inside and outdoors. The burger joint is very supportive of local events, the Glendora High School band, Little League teams and the local Police Department.

One of the more popular fast food restaurants in Glendora, Angelos Burgers features fantastic burgers and tasty fast food. It’s a culinary destination for visitors that want great food.

Thanks to its outdoor seating, Angelos Burgers is a great option when you feel like soaking in some of those California rays. It should be noted that casual attire is encouraged and though the prices are considered low, you won’t sacrifice any quality.

This place is hidden between a tire place and Albertsons on Route 66. This little gem is really clean and all the staff have great customer service skills.
I ordered a Double Cheeseburger and Cheese Fries.
The taste of the Double Cheeseburger was great. This burger had some serious and all the ingredients were fresh.
The cheese fries were crispy and had great taste.

I had to review them again. I went last week to eat (since I was getting a car wash next door) I had the nicest woman taking my order, she was very helpful and surprisingly polite. I had to up my stars, because it was the first time I actually came across a pleasant person working for Angelo’s.

Not bad. Came here cause I was hungry wait for my tires to get change. Food not bad. Big portions. Typical dinner food. Was enjoyable. Love the fact they had the game one. I should of stay here watching the game instead of waiting over 3 hr at American Tire Depot.

tacos, tacos, tacos, i can’t stop thinking about those hardshell ground beef tacos at Angelo’s Burgers Glendora. I recently discovered them hiding, listed at the bottom left of the drive-​thru menu and now i love to order three with extra cheese. I never forget the Del Sol Salsa in the small packages. This place is a classic burger joint, I have been going here for many years. I usually order the ½ lb cheeseburger with a large order of onion rings. The cheeseburger is always heavy, juicy, and delicious, and the onion rings are consistently rather crunchy, hot, huge, and are almost too much for a hungry person to eat by themselves. When I feel like throwing cholesterol and calorie caution to the wind, this is the place to go. The food coma that follows is worth it. I have tried other items on their menu as well, and have not ever been disappointed, but the ½ lb cheeseburger and onion rings together are the bomb !!! The service is efficient, and the waiting time never too long. Great value for the money.

There food is ok. The place is a little pricey for a hamburger stand which I’m ok with .my biggest complaint is that after spending 23 bucks on dinner or lunch for my wife and I they insist on charging for ranch dressing which is a condiment. I also didn’t like that on 1 pm on a Sunday the only breakfast they would sell is there sandwiches and burritos. Is it harder to make a to go breakfast plate or is it because the burritos and sandwiches cost more? If in Glendora I recommend Grand Burger. There food is just as good or better, ranch and condiments are free and they serve breakfast till 2 pm.

Worst service ever! Ordered a MEDIUM Orange Bang and a SMALL Cherry Coke that came with the meal. When I received the drinks I asked «Is this the medium Orange Bang?» The girl looked at me and firmly said «YES» I received a 16 oz. Orange Bang and 20 oz. Cherry Coke… go figure…

I went here for the first time in quite awhile and got a breakfast burrito. I remember a few years ago I used to come here more often but I got sick of the fact that they did not take a bank or credit card and they took forever to make the food. Well at some point they started taking ATM and credit cards which is great that they finally caught up with the rest of modern civilization.
One thing that has not changed though is the fact that it takes so long to make the food. I went through the drive through at 10:30 in the morning on a weekday. There was no one inside the place or in the drive through besides me. There were 4 people working. I sat their at the drive through window for 12 minutes for them to make me a breakfast burrito. The burrito had a burnt taste to it too.
This is why I will continue to go to grand burger.

This place has the worse customer service! I went here the other day with my friend and the girl in the drive through was so rude! They got our order wrong and when I tried telling her to switch it she says that the owner got my order wrong and couldn’t switch it because he was «busy!» not only did she roll her eyes but she walked away! Never again coming here! Its not a one star its a negative zero!

Today I ordered a mushroom, egg, and cheese breakfast burrito and because of past experiences here I asked for half potatoe and for the potatoe to be crispy.
I guess by that they thought I meant a lot of mashed potatoes or maybe they thought I meant crispy eggs because the eggs had a lot of brown on them. For one the burrito wasn’t layered right, I would take a bite and it would be all potatoes then the next bite would be all eggs then the next something else miserable. Not to mention the worst part was I only tasted cheese in one bite!
We go here a lot because my family likes it but everytime we go they are consistently disappointing. They don’t listen when you want something specific and the food is always sad (I wouldn’t have to specify anything if they made the burrito good in the first place). Everytime I get a burrito they seem to love to put 90% potatoe and 10% whatever else you want in there. Trust me, there’s nothing else I love more than potatoes (except for maybe cheese) but this is just too much when you want a good breakfast burrito.
I think next time my family gets it for breakfast I’ll be getting something from somewhere else.

While out house hunting, we stopped in for a burger. The place inside it pretty outdated. Everything is pink! But the food and service make up for it. They have a ton of options. I ordered just a basic cheeseburger combo. It was a decent burger. Fries aren’t so bad either. Also, they have a drive thru so that’s convenient! I would come back if I was in the area.

The burritos are great but they NEED TO CHANGE THE DRIVE THREW SITUATION stop making us drive around, it’s a drive threw LINE everyone can wait there turn, making us do a u turn now puts us in danger dealing with traffic. We can wait at the window until our food is ready, this is ridiculous.

Didn’t know what to eat so I decided to come to Angelo’s Burgers and try it out. When I pulled up to the drive thru, the lady couldn’t hear what I was saying so she asked me to pull up to the window. I’m pretty sure I said what I wanted over and over again pretty loud, maybe they just need a new speaker box. When I pulled up, the lady asked what I wanted again and went to the back for about 5 minutes. She finally came back, told me how much I owed, gave me back my change and closed the window.
Anyway, I ordered 3 carne asada tacos and chili/​beans with cheese. $ 15! That’s way too expensive. Though the tacos are a pretty good size, they don’t have much flavor to it. I was more disappointed in the taco sauce. I asked for taco sauce and they literally had taco sauce in a little packet. It tasted like Del Taco mild sauce. I figured they would have some homemade sauce or anything better than a little packet.
Not too long after my sister and I finished eating, our stomachs got upset. Not a good way to start off the day. Probably not coming back.

This place is just a couple of blocks away from the World Famous Hat and believe it or not I like their pastrami sandwich better because it has less fat, is less chewy and is a lot less salty for half the price on a grilled roll which is crispy… it’s really good and I think everyone should try it before they tell me «Shut up! the Hat is the greatest».
As I mentioned the prices are very reasonable for the quantity of food you get and what I really like is this little place has a drive-​thru which is super convenient when I just want something quick like a breakfast burrito which by the way are all really good, I haven’t tried much of their Mexican food but I did get a Carne Asada taco once and didn’t think the meat had much flavor; the burgers are quite filling. The service is always fast and the people are super nice, give it a try next time your in the area… I’m glad I did.
