V & S Motors

Wanted a Volvo and found V & S Motors on the internet. They sell and service used Volvos. Called Sako, the owner and told him we were interested in a certain car and said we would be down in a few hours to see it. He had the car all ready for us. He answered all of our questions and put no pressure on us at all. I ask to drive the car and he had no problems in letting my wife and I take the car out for for 20 minutes to test it. He told us everything he had done to the car to get it ready to sell. These things were an oil change, transmission fluid change, a new battery and changing the timing belt. He gave us all the paperwork with what had been done to the car. We decided we wanted the car and gave him a price we were willing to pay (a bit under what he was asking). We were surprised when he accepted the offer. Deal done. We have had the car for two weeks now and put on over a 1,000 miles and the car is great.
UPDATE: 5÷6÷13 Found out we were charged $ 225 for California «Vehicle License Fee». This is not registration but a license tax California add on to used car sales. Checking with DMV, I found out this fee should have only been $ 62 for our car. Now comes trying to get back the left-​over. I have already made one phone call and V&S claim that $ 225 is what DMV charged them…
UPDATE :6/​2013. To V&S’s credit, They have returned the Vehicle Lic. fee. All is good and car is still running good after 6,000 miles.
