My mom got a new engagement ring for her 30th anniversary last year and, unknown to me, gave the diamond from her old ring to my boyfriend — now fiancé. He took it to Tycoon and they came up with the new setting together. The ring is better than anything I could have picked out from a store, and fit me perfectly, despite my fiancé not knowing my ring size — he apparently gave a general description of my frame and build, and the good people of Tycoon nailed it down from that.

I wrote a previous review giving Tycoon 1 star, after being frustrated for some time trying to find out if they were still in business. I finally did receive a call back, and learned that the store in Glendale is still in operation, by appointment only. My husband and I made an appointment, connected with David, who designed a fabulous addition to my wedding ring. The rest of our dealings with Tycoon went extremely well, so I’m updating my review. An appointment is the key. The design work that David did is awesome, and I’m a fan, again! :)
